Her betrayal carved a scar deep in my heart, and every day, I burn with a relentless desire for vengeance. Now that she’s dared to step back into my life, I’m finally going to have that revenge.

I’ll take her and break her. Dominate her and make her pay for her sins. But beneath all that rage lies a dark web of emotions I’ve tried my best to ignore—longing, lust, and the haunting memories of what we once had.

Sienna knows she deserves everything that’s coming, and I know a part of her craves it too. Every bit of humiliation, every tear, every ounce of pain. By the time I’m done with her, she’ll be begging for more. Begging to be all mine. This time, she’ll be mine forever.

Be warned this book has some pretty dark content that might upset some folks.

What starts off as a sweet and innocent relationship between Sienna & Paxton where they spend a weekend away with their friends quickly turns into a bloodbath. One where teenagers are killed and Sienna is viciously stabbed several times. The finger of blame eventually points to Paxton being the killer by Sienna herself.

Years of trauma on both sides and the unfortunately both end up at the same University and things start to become complicated for them. Some cracking plot twists and turns happen throughout this book as well as one hell of an ending that completely threw me!! I thought it was someone else!!! An absolutely brilliant read.

By the end of the prologue I was hooked! This book had me on the edge of my seat constantly trying to figure out who the killer was. I had a couple ideas very early on, but I was wrong. I honestly didn’t expect everything that was coming. A few things yes I saw coming and was expecting, but not everything. But the pieces slowly started to come together and things started to click. There were moments I was really irritated and wanted to throw my phone at how Sienna kept falling for Paxton. He was sabotaging her life and she kept giving into him. But once everything started to unravel I had a change of mind.
This book was so good. From the plot, the twists you don’t see coming, the mystery and especially the suspense of not knowing, it all keeps you anxiously flipping the pages! The only thing I was left wondering, and wished was discussed, was how Sienna’s dad felt about everything after the truths came out.

This book had me hooked after a few pages. The dark, angst, romance, enemies to lovers- I absolutely ate this book up!!

The story is set in 2 MC POV but very easy to follow along. I loved the twists and turns of this book and how it had you guessing till the end. The flash backs were amazing and really gave you the much needed back story and details to what happened.

Please note there are multiple triggers in this book, this book may be a trigger for readers for multiple reasons. Your mental health is always the most important.

While the spice is lower in the book, it is still there. Would say 2 out of 5 for spice.

4 out of 5 stars!.

unique and thrilling hockey read!! 🖤🖤

I love to find new authors and this is no exception! These two are really good!

This isn’t your typical lover, enemies/ bully, back to lovers book. This one actually has a twist and a bit of a thriller to it. Ok so I did figure it out. BUT I love these types of books. But I really loved how they put the thriller/mystery in with a hockey/bully book.

The chemistry between the two main characters is super sweet and harsh how they first start out.

I took a star only bc it seemed rushed, I was really hoping for more building blocks for their characters. I still highly recommended it. I don’t want to say much bc spoilers would ruin this one!! So just divide in. It’s worth it.

This dark hockey romance definitely kept me guessing!

I absolutely loved seeing the flashbacks between that terrible night and the present as we tried to figure out what exactly happened between Paxton and Sienna. These lovers - enemies - lovers was written well and I loved the overall 'who actually did it' theme.

Heed the warnings - this is a dark romance and there is some content that may be triggering for some readers.

That being said, I love stuff like this and couldn't put it down! Great twist in the hockey genre!

I was really into the first half of Mine, the tension, the setup, and the chemistry . That said... the whole murder mystery arc started to feel like it belonged in a different book. Solving a multiple homicide with zero experience? In college? Come on. It stretched disbelief to the breaking point. And Paxton swooping in like a human bloodhound to find Sienna after being back in her life for, what, five minutes? That was pure fanfiction logic. The whole deal with the dad kinda gave me the "no's" too.

It’s a solid enough read if you’re here for the dark romance and dramatic twists

Giving a 4 star, but really its a 3.75

I enjoyed this book very much. The plot was fantastic. The execution needs more polishing, in my opinion.

I found the relationship between Paxton and Sienna to be surface level. I didn't feel their chemistry. I believe their beginning needs to be explored further or their relationship further along when the incident happened. Sienna and Paxton had little relationship development before everything imploded.

I thoroughly enjoyed the mystery and suspense aspect. That area was well done.

Enjoyable, but too quick

The premise of this novel is absolutely awesome. Sienna pointed the finger at her boyfriend for a mass murder several years earlier and he wants revenge. It opened it uo for some cool mystery and darkness. Which it had. My only complaint about it is the romance seemed like a side note. Everything between the couple felt forced, and the characters were acting basically out of character for a lot of the book. I wish it was longer so some of those pieces could have occurred more organically.

Could have been so great...

Intriguing storyline. Relatable characters. It started off really good and if that pace kept up, it would have been 4 stars. But half to 3/4 through, it changes pace and storyline to have an easy and quick ending.

I have noticed with these authors that their stories start off great. They pull you in and keep you interested. Then, right when you're in the heart of it, they start to taper it off. Then the love declaration and rush ending.

A bully romance full of twists and turns! This really kept me on the edge trying to figure everything out! It is a high suspense read with all the right feels of a bully romance. I loved that it was told in a dual POV and that there were plenty of flashbacks which helped understand more of the background! Really enjoyable!.

Mystery and romance

Paxton and Sienna's story was a great read. Everything they went thru together. Wow! I had the wrong friend pegged as the real killer. Oops! I can't wait to read more by this author.

3.5 and not very spicy. It’s a decent book, and I’m happy I read it. Definitely gives off a murder mystery vibe more than a dark romance feel. There is tension and angst, and has a decent plot despite the miscommunication. Happy reading!

I think this is my first murder mystery book. Maybe I should've seen it coming, but I didn't, really.
