Same reaction I had to the previous book. Only OK. I lived the last part of the book. Made me feel really good and brought a smile but for the majority it did not make me smile or even feel good. Unfortunately some of the passages were just too dark for me. Especially about the mother duck/goose story. Something like that once I read/see something like that it plays in my mind and always makes me extremely sad and depressed

This is so not me. I'm more "random acts of violence". I'm not sure what compelled me to pick this up. Some of the stories were pretty nice & it did remind me of some random nice things people have done for me. I am concerned that this is a sign of some softening in my advanced age of 41. First thing tommarow I better sit on the front porch and shoot BB's at the neighbor kids to keep up my street cred.
