Full disclosure: I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Make sure you read book 1: Undeniable before reading this book. It will explain so much backstory as to how we get to the events of this book.

I have to say that I was on tenterhooks throughout this book. How would everything work out?! Who would Cheska choose?! How would she choose?! I read the entire book in one day, staying up until 2 am just to finish it.

The story played out really well with a lot of twists and turns that weren’t expected. There are not any “cookie cutter” romance moments here. The journey will be messy, the people are flawed, and it will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time.

Man, I’m struggling here… I don’t want to give any spoilers but then I feel like I can’t talk about the book because anything I say might give away a twist. The book was seriously very good and a wild ride. Don’t hesitate to read it. Thats the bottom line.

Now, having said that I really did very much enjoy the book, I have to take a moment to talk about the FMC and the occasional depiction of panic attacks/mental illness. The FMC made me want to slap her in the face a few times and scream “wake the f*** up!” It felt like the backbone was there for her to be a strong heroine but then she was just weak. I love strong independent women and I found her to be lacking often, which frustrated me. Her character made parts of the book hard to digest and I may have rolled my eyes a few times at her inconsistent actions. There were a few scenes depicting mental illness in the book that felt overplayed and far fetched as well. I have had panic attacks and deal with mental health issues and these scenes felt like they were doing a disservice to those who struggle with mental illness in the pursuit of a theatrical moment. Perhaps I am wrong and the mental health rabbit hole can go much farther than I personally have gone. Regardless, these two bits had me knocking the rating down to 4/5 stars.

I highly recommend everyone read this book to the end because that last twist at the end? Worth every minute of sleep I did not get.

I’m so grateful to have received the ARC for Unforgettable. This had been such an amazing read, both books are extraordinary in their own way.

I was completely hooked and immersed in this story that when I received the ARC I almost called in sick at work so I could read the whole book. The author knows about this… hahahahaha

I was blown away with the unfolding events of this story. The first book was good and the cliffhanger was amazing, but this second one was jaw dropping.

So many emotions and plot twists. The secrets that were revealed were absolutely shocking, very good to the varios stories unfolding at the same time. That had me glued to the screen because I needed to know how everything ended.

I must confess, I had no loyalty. One minute I was on Nico’s side and the next I was on Mateo’s side. I couldn’t decide between them until almost the very end when I knew everything. But still, I shed tears.

This book had me at the edge of my seat, it was like seeing a movie in my head. All the emotions coming through. My heart rate was high!!

The story was so well written that you are able to feel all that you read, what the characters are feeling. The anger, love, sadness, madness… all at the same time.

Nico, a man fear by many… but has such a pure heart that you melt into a puddle. The resilience of this man, always playing the long game. At some point I hated him, but I wasn’t able for long. I ended up loving him.

When I saw that the book was 500 pages long I said to myself, “This is gonna brake me”. But you know what? They weren’t enough, I’ll gladly read I thousand pages long of this story.

Also, I liked how the author emphasized mental health problems, trauma and abuse in this book.

Grab your tissues people, because this book will make you cry. I was happy but shattered at the same time.

PD: I need the love stories of Nico’s friends ASAP. Especially Abi & Gabriel and Ben and his girlfriend.

Really looking forward to your next work.❤️

Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC!

I truly am mind boggled! The first half of the book I didn't know who to believe. Teo or Nico? Truth is neither. Both have their dark sides and both hide things from Cheska. Either for her safety or to let her not see their dark sides.

Even at the end, it was hard to see who was truly there for her and who she was meant to be with but I guess that's also what life is right? Of course at the end, Nico is the one who is truly for her even if he was the one to break her first.

I loved reading the dynamics of this story even though it was her also being in pain and confused majority of the time no thank to Teo.

I’ve waited weeks to get this e-arc and it was totally worth it. I’ll start my review by saying my thanks to love notes pr and HR Penrose for sending me a copy of this duet. And I look forward to getting more in the future.
This duet, Undeniable and unforgettable took me by surprise. And by that, I meant a jaw dropping, heart stopping, mind boggling surprise. Shocked by how the story ended but quite impressive and surprising nevertheless.
Normally in romance books or other fictional books, there’s a state you reach where you can predict what happens next and everything becomes boring because it happens exactly as you predicted. But this! Hr penrose weaved magic here and I couldn’t for the life of my figure out what happens next after reading a chapter. How the plot went, the storyline, the characters and how they played out, every single detail in this duet turned out perfect!
It is a love triangle between Nico, Cheska and Mateo and I knew at a point someone had to die because a love like that you can’t just say the other sacrificed his feelings for the other to have their happily ever after. And I knew Teo will die but like Cheska I’m still in denial of how he died. Teo wasn’t the hero but he wasn’t the villain either. He was a lost kid, brother and father who was manipulated and never offered love of any kind, and it’s just so sad that he died without having any love like that. What he had with Cheska isn’t love in my opinion. They just held each other through their most lowest and difficult times, they became companions of each other and weaved through the series of agony and self destruction without hitting the rock bottom because one was there for the other. And Nico? He’s the biggest bastard in this book but still, my favorite character. He held so much burden from such a young age.
I loved how the book ended and was wishing for more even though the story had come to its end. I rate books based on five things and hence the 4.5 stars, but this duet would have gotten a solid five if the cover looked better. Maybe if the author would publish another edition with a different cover then I know this book would earn its five stars fair and square.

- ARC REVIEW -

what can i say…

After reading the first book, I’m not going to lie, I was PISSED !!! I knew what was to come, that Nico would eventually be forgiven, and I hated that. I thought that after everything he said and did, there was absolutely no return for him- no matter WHAT. I didn’t even want to read this book! But, I persisted. I was at first elated to see that Cheska was with Mateo. He treated her right, and had her best interests at heart. He helped her through a terrible period of her life. However, when they got back to Spain, he changed. I myself wasn’t believing when others were telling Cheska about how badly Mateo was treating her (mainly Nico). Along the way, my feelings started to shift. Mateo’s dialogue turned from ‘I must protect Cheska’, to more of a personal need to prevail. It’s like, along the way, he lost sight of what was truly important. I didn’t know if that’s because he truly was truly off kilter or what, but it became way too much. At a certain point, you could no longer blame his upbringing or circumstances. He was then living for himself, not ‘his life’ - Cheska. What really bothered, me was that he kept making her feel like she owed him, just because he helped her through the toughest period of her life. At that point in this book, I still was mad at Nico myself, but I was already seeing the major faults in Mateo. When he decided to store her away in the middle of nowhere, that’s when I fully decided against him. In Cheska’s inner dialogue, she mentioned how she owed him, and it’s the least she could do for him, to just stay put there. That’s complete B.S. I know for a FACT Nico has done everything he has FOR Cheska, and for their future together. I know with certainty, he would NEVER have made her feel she owed him a damn thing. Even if it may have looked like it on the surface. There were many things he could have held against her & felt that she owed him later on. He never ever looked at it that way. To him, it was his duty to continue to get through to her- out of love- not obligation. I really appreciated how Nico kept reiterating how Cheska pulled herself out of the hole she was in mentally, & not Mateo. Both Cheska & Mateo gave Mateo too much credit for what he did. Nico was right - you need to haul yourself out of your low mental state- nobody can do that for you. That can support you, of course! But they can never be the reason you’ve healed- not completely. Everything Mateo did was laced with some sort of malice & manipulation. At least when Nico manipulated things, it was always for the favor of Cheska. Mateo manipulated things in favor of Mateo. I was already way against him, but at the end, when we found out that he really put Cheska in harm’s way on PURPOSE & planned to offer up Cheska’s head & to sell his own BLOOD DAUGHTERS into a sex trafficking ring, all for his OWN POWER-CLIMBING GAIN….I truly was shocked. I actually couldn’t believe it. At first, when I found out he was still alive, I felt kind of sorry for him. Then, learning that, just sent me into a spiral. I can’t believe he became so self-absorbed, he couldn’t understand & genuinely believed he was still doing right by Cheska. I truly believe he must have been a sociopath, because his way of thinking was just so incredibly concluded. He was SO far off kilter, & there was no return for him. Dare I say, I was GLAD he ended it all at the end? It still was a sad and unfortunate ending, but it was needed. Also, I give Nico TONS of respect for not only keeping Mateo’s horrors to himself for Cheska’s sake, but for also allowing himself to be hurt when she still reminisces on Mateo & how much of a ‘great guy’ she thought he truly was. He truly was the best man for her, always. I also appreciated that Josh and Abi & the others knew of Mateo’s wrongdoings- or at least, most of them - and supported Nico in hiding Mateo away or killing him (whatever they believed to have happened). The primary thing was that they all were happy Mateo was gone.

After it all- I understand why things happened the way they did. And although the ending of the first book sent me off the deep-end, I have to admit, it was needed. I truly feel the ending of this book summed up everything & I was sad to see this series go. I feel like I went through literal hell and back with these characters. I wish I would have learned more about the side characters’ stories more. For example: Ella & Fabian, Josh & Elena, Abi & Gabriel, Ben & his girl, etc. I would have loved to explore those side stories more too, perhaps in their own books. Regardless, I was happy with this conclusion. !

Special thanks to H.R. Penrose and Love Notes PR for the eARC of Unforgettable. After the cliffy that H.R. left us after Undeniable (Part 1 of The Spanish Duet), you DO NOT want to miss this one!!

4.25 ⭐

Tropes:

Five years later, Cheska is finally returning to Spain to accompany her boyfriend, Teo, to the reading of his father's will. Once back, she is thrust back into the life she thought she had left and the man that she had once loved, Nico Navarro. But, there have been a lot of moves that have been played and that been brewing over the past five years that they've been separated. Will Nico and Cheska get their HEA, or will she end up with a man she's come to love, Teo? The heart wants what it wants, but what if it wants both of them?

H.R. Penrose left us off with SUCH A CLIFFHANGER at the end of Undeniable with soo many questions. How could this have all happened? And rest assured, dead readers, all your questions will be answered. I utterly DEVOURED this arc, wanting to know sooo bad what had happened during the past five years and everything that it led to. What I really loved about this duet was that even the secondary and more minor characters played a role to move along the plot. Had they not, I would have been extremely overwhelmed with everything going on, but I think that they added a nice touch to the story to really round out the found family trope, demonstrating that family may not be by blood, but who you choose to spend time with.

I think the book was paced well, providing good context and movement between ALLL the moving pieces that Nico has been dealing with since being apart from Cheska. My heart really went out for the two of them. Nico has sooooo many faults, but he had the right drive AND reasoning to do what he did. I....cannot say the same thing about Teo. I wish that his character arc had held on a little longer than it actually did, but it was a lil fun fu at the end with the epilogue. I also really enjoyed the mental health rep that H.R. did with Cheska's character. She has clearly gone through a lot in the past few years since getting involved with the Navarro family and has dealt with A LOT, to say the least. I think that the author could have done a little better on navigating the challenges that she went through and the solutions, but I appreciated the representation with anxiety, depression, post-partum depression, and other challenges that Cheska was experiencing.

Overall, I really enjoyed this duet (devoured it in approximately 24 hrs) and would highly recommend!

"Unforgettable" by H.R. Penrose is a gripping romance that delves into the tumultuous journey of love, betrayal, and the haunting shadows of the past. The novel opens with a compelling premise: our protagonist, having experienced the pinnacle of happiness with a thriving business and a loving boyfriend, finds her world shattered. Five years later, she returns to the Costa del Sol, a place laden with memories and heartbreak, only to encounter Nico Navarro, the man who left her heart in pieces.

Penrose masterfully weaves a narrative that explores the thin line between love and hate. The tension between the protagonist and Nico is palpable, driven by Nico's obsessive intensity and the unresolved emotions that linger between them. The author's portrayal of Nico’s character, who embodies a blend of charm and danger, is particularly striking. His declaration, "Hate and love are two sides of a coin. You hate me so much because you love me the same," encapsulates the central theme of the story.

The plot thickens as the protagonist finds herself entangled in a complex love triangle. The novel's suspense is heightened by the revelation that both of the men she loves have blood on their hands, leading to a collision course that threatens to destroy everything. The story's pacing is relentless, keeping readers on edge as the truth slowly unravels, revealing that things are not always as they seem.

Penrose's writing is evocative, painting vivid scenes of the Costa del Sol and capturing the emotional turmoil of the characters. The protagonist's inner conflict and the high-stakes drama make for an engaging read. The themes of love, revenge, and redemption are explored with depth, making "Unforgettable" not just a romance novel but a psychological thriller that examines the darker facets of human relationships.

However, the novel isn't without its flaws. There are moments where the narrative could benefit from more nuanced character development, particularly in understanding the motivations behind the actions of the men involved. Some plot twists, while surprising, could feel somewhat contrived, and the resolution, though satisfying, might leave readers with lingering questions.

In conclusion, "Unforgettable" is a passionate, suspenseful tale that will captivate fans of intense romance and psychological drama. H.R. Penrose has crafted a story that is as haunting as it is enthralling, making it a memorable addition to the genre. If you're looking for a book that will keep you guessing until the very end, "Unforgettable" is a worthy choice.

H.R Penrose is going on my list of authors to watch out for when new books come out. I was a little worried going into this read when I saw it was 500 pages, but she really wrote one of the most detailed books I’ve read this month, a true masterpiece in its own right.

She intricately weaved plot twists, with the essence of suspense throughout the book, keeping her readers guessing, never knowing what twist she has coming next, while still being meticulous in the little details that only added to her story, giving a greater depth into the emotions and characters themselves. Her writing style was one that I easily fell in love with, and loved that she really kept me constantly guessing, I couldn’t tell where she was going with Cheska, Mateo and Nico, or how this was gonna end. That reason alone is why this was a 5 star read. I love when an author not only maintains their writing style, but truly puts their heart and soul into their work, not missing out on the little details. You can tell she really took her time with this entire duet.

The storyline was something I DEVOURED. I love the idea of two half brothers fighting over the same girl on a surface level, but knowing why there’s that heated rivalry between these two that was deeper under the surface. I still don’t know how she was going to choose between them or could imagine how this whole duet unfolded the way it did. My mind is still blown. It wasn’t your typical romance. This one was something raw and real, showing how imperfect main characters can work through their trauma, abuse and flaws to get their own version of a happy ending, even through all the pain, anger and heartbreaking sadness. This book really was a wild ride from beginning to end. One I wish I could relive for the first time forever and will be a duet that sits on my personal trophy shelf. H.R, thank you for one of my top reads this year, I am obsessed with you. And thank you Love Notes PR, for recommending them in your newsletter! 🫶🏽

I was given both books as part of an ARC and I can say that both books kept me hooked. The second book is a worthy conculsion and does not disapoint.

The story starts with Cheska returning to Spain with her boyfriend for the reading of his father's will. Its hear she finds out that he is her ex's half brother. Cheska returned to the UK after the first book and this on starts 5 years later. On her return is when secrets and lies are unvieled and Cheska must decide what she believes is the truth and where her path in life lies.

The male leads, Mateo and Nicco, are both very possesive over Cheska and its revealed why they hate each other despite being half brothers. Without giving too much away, alot of the questions posed in the first book are answered plus more are presented. I love the twist at the end.

You have to pay attention to the storyline as there is alot that goes on especially when Cheska finds out that her brother, Josh, knows more about this lifestyle than he lead her to believe. I love the way the supporting characters bring some humour to what is a dark and sometimes depressive atmosphere. Everyone needs a best friend like Cheska! I found myself confused over if I wanted Cheska to end up with Nico or Mateo but after some shocking revalations from both sides I'm glad the author ended it the way she did. She seems to have got the balance right .

Great books, great character and great storyline. These must be read in order.

They say lightning doesn't strike in the same place twice—they were wrong. I loved my boyfriend, my business was booming. Life was going to plan. Until it wasn't. Five years later, I return to the Costa del Sol. The one place I swore never to step foot again. I didn't expect to run into Nico Navarro, the man who shattered my heart. The man who stares at me with an obsessive intensity as if years haven't passed. “Hate and love are two sides of a coin. You hate me so much because you love me the same.” Some of us have one extraordinary love of our lives. I have two. The problem with that? Mine are on a collision course to destroy each other, leaving only one survivor. The truth isn't always what it seems. Both men have blood on their hands. It's inevitable I will be caught in the crossfire.

Please read Book 1: Undeniable so you can get an understanding of their history, as this is not a stand-alone book.

The entire story progressed nicely, involving numerous unexpected turns and twists. I read this book even though I was meant to be working at my office since I was so invested in it. The book was amazing as was the roller coaster ride.

However, I have to say that I am team Nico! I adored their chemistry; it was really hot! The relationship between Nico, Cheska, and Arsenio is my favourite. They are really cute! In addition, every supporting character—aside from Mateo, who I didn't like—was excellent.

I did, however, occasionally want to slap Cheska! She's not a strong female character, and because of her mental illness and frequent panic attacks, I can excuse her inconsistent actions even though I may have rolled my eyes a few times.

Their ending was perfect. I am excited to read more for this author, especially Josh's!

Thank you Love Notes PR and H.R. Penrose for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I want to preface this by saying I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

TROPES:
* chosen family
* mafia x organized crime
* second chance
* pregnancy trope
* abuse (physical and emotional, read cw/tw)
* mental health rep
* he gives her a nickname (mi corazon ❤️)

As a versatile romance reader, I’ve read my fair share of mafia romance. The good, the bad, and the ugly. The reason for my rating is because I felt like the first half of the book was slow. While it is recommended to read the first book to understand the backstory, I did not read it and don’t think it really affected me. I kinda just kept saying“ok this doesn’t make sense I guess it was addressed in the first of the duet” and moved on. The middle to second half is where I feel the books picked up. The twists, and turns are definitely there. For me, I felt everything with Mateo was a little predictable, and that Cheska was a bit dramatic during her panic attacks/mental health episodes. I’ve had them and I feel like I couldn’t relate to her character. Perhaps they were elevated for theatrical effect.

Nico pissed me off. Dude was like…. I don’t know… maybe the first book gave more for him, but I was team Mateo, then team “Cheska do what’ll make you happy” but never team Nico. He just rubbed me the wrong way and I was kinda shocked at some of his actions (that would be spoilers to share).

I felt like there were scenes where Cheska could be painted as badass or having a backbone, standing her ground, but for some reason she didn’t??? I love a good strong fmc and I really thought Cheska was gonna be like Gamora in GOTG3 but she was more like Pinky Pie meets Starfire if that makes sense.

All in all I think that this book could appeal to some readers. I think I just got lost with the length and some questions about why Mateo AND Nico did what they did.

Despite everything I said, I enjoyed this book and really want josh’s or ben’s story plz and thank you 😊

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is a second book in a series. You have to read Unforgettable before you read this book. You get a lot of the backstory and there was a huge cliffhanger at the end of that book. This one picks up right where that one left off. We are Five years later in the beginning of this book and Cheska is returning to Spain. She is accompanying Teo to the reading of his father's will. However, she wasn't expecting this little trip to land her back into a life she thought she had left behind and back in the presence of the man she used to love, Nico. A lot has happened in five years. I don't want to tell you much about the story and ruin something for you. This is where you will find out if Cheska chooses Nico or Teo? However, sometimes the heart is stingy and wants what it wants if that includes two men. I really loved reading this book. It kept me turning the pages and wondering what was going to happen and who she would end up with.

✨Love Triangle
✨Book 2 of a Duet
✨Secrets and Lies
✨Hidden Identity

This was the second book in the Spanish Duet and I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC of this book and the first book of the duet.

Unfortunately this duet was not for me. It took me two weeks to read the first book when I’m normally a quite fast reader. I just couldn’t get into the book, which I think was partially the writing style and also the characters.

While I did like the overall friendship groups and there were some scenes that I did enjoy, there were more plot lines and scenes that I did not enjoy at all. There were so many red flags within both love interest and I was sitting here asking myself how she could still be with either one of them, both in the first and the second book. Most of the red flags and what happened to Cheska was very much brushed aside and that just didn’t sit right with me. I felt like the characters just went in circles, especially the FMC, and they kept repeating the same loop over and over again until it was broken by outside forces.

Two books in one amazing series. I read Undeniable and had to jump straight into Unforgettable. They were both so good, I just couldn't put them down. When I finished Undeniable, I just didn't know what way the story was going to go. Cheska is an amazing FMC. Everything she goes through and she is still so strong. She does have some very hard moments, and I really felt for her. Nico, the love he had for Cheska, his family, and his friends. He would do anything to keep them all safe. I loved the different friendship groups. We didn't get a lot of Josh, but you know he is always there for his sister and had her best interests at heart.
Please read the tiggets for both books before reading. You will also have to read Undeniable first.
My first time reading HR Penrose, and I really enjoyed them. Loved the writing style and how nothing was left unanswered.

Unforgettable starts at the cliffhanger where Author H.R. Penrose left us after Undeniable (Part 1 of The Spanish Duet). I REALLY enjoyed both books.

This is the ongoing story of Nico, Mateo and Cheska. They have been through a whole lot. This book contains secrets, angst, twists and turns. It keeps you at the end of your seat. This was a good story between the three of the them. Hold on to your seats because this book does contain shocking moments. I loved the side characters. They added a lot to this book. The series is really good.

Wild ending

Ummm excuse me but what?!?! My poor little heart was NOT ready for all these plot twists! Nor was my sleep because I stayed up until almost 6am, took like a 3 hour nap, and then picked up my kindle and started reading again! Like my heart shattered for Cheska and the impossible situations she was placed in and never have I hated someone so much as I did Teo! I said it in book one and I firmly stand my by decision to be on team Nico! Also like can I please get some help getting my jaw off the floor because it’s taken residence there after EVERYTHING! Like WHAT?!?! Also that final twist at the end?!?! Clearly I’m still in distress here and give me 3-5 business days to get myself together LOL

"Unforgettable" by HR Penrose is a gripping conclusion to a riveting duet, exploring themes of love, betrayal, and destiny. The protagonist’s return to Costa del Sol after five years thrusts her back into the arms of Nico Navarro, reigniting unresolved passion and conflict. Penrose masterfully portrays the tumultuous relationship, with hate and love intertwining explosively. The plot’s tension escalates as her two great loves are set on a collision course. With evocative prose and intense character dynamics, this book captivates readers, making it a memorable read. Note: It is essential to read the first book for full context and impact.

If you want a book that has plot twist after plot twist or two hot mafia men who happen to be step-brothers and want the same girl...this duet is for you. Make sure you read Undeniable, the first book in the duet!

“𝐇𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐢𝐧."

Unforgettable picks up right where the first book left off. Cheska finally has her life back together after having her heart broken by Nico. She finally opened her own salon, and has a great man, Mateo, by her side. But when Mateo has to go back to Spain for his father's will reading, Cheska runs into the one man she never wanted to see again. Now that Nico has her back, he won't let her leave. The plot twists I mentioned, start happening right away. The friendships and relationships Cheska made in book one, most were well crafted lies, and she finds herself not able to trust anyone around her. Not to mention the fact that Nico and Mateo are step brothers and both are involved in the mafia, but on different sides of a war. They also hate each other, thanks to their father being a horrible person. They both want her and will go to any lengths to keep her...and some of those lengths are INSANE! Mateo helped her through a horrible time in her life, but in the crime world, everything comes with a price.

I got through 75% of this book and still wasn't even sure who I wanted Cheska to end up with, that's how wild this story was. There were times I would have been happy with a throuple situation, and other times I would have been happy if Cheska had just gone off into the sunset and thrived on her own as a successful salon owner. Not to mention that I had other side couples I was shipping hard, like Gabriel and Abi, and Josh and Elena. I can't wait to see what HR does next, but I hope she comes back to these characters in future books!

This book was Aaammmmmaaaaazzziiinnngg!

I finished this book fast than I have with any books that I have read, Nico and cheska’s story pulled me right in. I got to the point where I felt like I was in the pages watching their story unfold. The ups and the downs had me on edge the entire time with their story. All I can say is when an author can make me feel like I am part of their book then they become a must read for any of their books. ♥️♥️

Thank you for choosing me to be an arc for this book I hope to read more of your books in the coming months.

"Unforgettable" by HR Penrose is a gripping and emotional rollercoaster, blending elements of romance, suspense, and drama. The duet to “Undeniable” follows the turbulent reunion of Nico Navarro and his former lover, set against the vibrant backdrop of the Costa del Sol. Penrose's writing captivates with its intense emotional depth and complex characters, navigating themes of second chances and dark secrets. While the book's graphic content may be challenging for some, it offers a compelling and satisfying read. This was a 4 star read for me for its powerful storytelling and intricate plot.

After reading Undeniable I knew I needed more of Nico, Teo, and Chelsea. Undeniable had so much happen in the plot but Unforgettable was even better.

This book had so many twists and secrets revealed that you couldn’t help but be sucked in to know it all. So much happens in this book that I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but I will say this duet is a must-read. The emotional roller coaster that HR Penrose puts you through with both books is worth it and you can’t help but be hooked into this story.

Thank you for the arc opportunity!

I’ve never read a duet so fast.
Cheska returns to Spain to accompany teos her boyfriend, to the funeral and reading of his father’s will. She’s thrown full speed back into the life she left 5 years ago, and back into the life of Nico, only she doesn’t know teos brother. She finds out a lot about the both of them that unsettles her , but teo really manipulates her into believing what he wants her too. Who will she choose the father of her twins or her husband (his brother) .

ARC REVIEW-

I have so many feelings about this book!!!

After the major cliffhanger of Book 1, I eagerly jumped into Book 2.

I am so happy for Cheskas happily ever after. But wow how much trauma and pain she, Nico, and Mateo had to endure to get there.

I am so happy that Nico never let Cheska go- but he is almost as bad a Mateo. Poor Cheska never truly got a say in anything and that’s why I gave this book four stars.
