Their parents may be best friends, but Autumn and Theo have been enemies since birth. So what happens when they get snowed in at a hotel… and there’s only one bed?
Every Christmas seems to go the same way, with a fight between Autumn and Theo, both of them intent on getting under each other’s skin. Their families are friends and insist on spending Christmas together every year. But this year, Autumn is determined for things to go differently, to have one year without the bickering and the name-calling, without letting the man with the annoying smirk and dark hair piss her off for another second. She makes a plan to ignore him completely, knowing it will get under his skin, and hopefully, keep peace within their families. What she doesn’t plan is getting into a small car accident, the car being left in a snowbank, a hotel a few minutes up the road being their only haven. With no more choices left, and no plows coming out until after the storm, Autumn and Theo are stuck in a room together with only a single king bed. But, with the close proximity, they are forced to confront their feelings and realize that where there is hate, there is also chemistry.
Tropes: enemies to lovers, family friends, snowed in, one bed, short and spicy.

This was something. I read it in one sitting. It was dirty, I will tell ya that, lol. But the writing was cringe. How many times can you say "he consumed me" or "it was all consuming?" And I know this was mentioned before but the work fuck is used ALOT. It was very repetitive. For such a short novel, I just found myself more annoyed towards the end. I felt no connection to these characters, I guess because it was such a short novella, there was no build-up or background. Maybe that's why the sex scenes were a little awkward for me.
The fmc seriously got on my nerves. She kept repeating herself and kept doubting the whole situation between her and the mmc. She was annoying and she talked way too much about the same thing. The plot of the book was all over her place and cringy. They both also used the word "fucking" in every paragraph and it was so annoying.
the word fcking was used soo many times. It felt like reading a fanfic written by my friends, literally the writing wasn't that good hahaha (sry its just not advanced author style)...Lynn anonymous friend ♥️
but I'm happy I read it...my bookcount gor up reql quick since it's a short novella (good for the end of the year and Christmas 🎄) AND, it helped that I imagined the both of them both being very hot.
Short story short hahahah (because its a short story but I write a shorter summary)
It's Christmas and autumn's mom celebrates it every year with her bff who happens to have a hot son whom she hates aka Theo. He forgot to bring smth so she asks him and autumn to go and buy the product from the supermarket which is 1 hour away from their place (insane but also cool to be so isolated).
Autumn and theo hate eachother since they're 6. They always bicker and fight that's why she doesn't want to go woth him but her mother forces her since everybody knows they dont get along well and maybe this could make things better between them, kind of sort it out ir how do you say that ..
Anyways, so they get stuck in the snow and when he asks his mom on the phone for help, there's no one outside right now because of the weather and suggest they go to a near hotel. There they see theo's friend who tells them that they are fully booked and have only one room left 😏😉
When they continue to argue ....suddenly the heater goes off and the room is black .....no electricity and she starts to FREEZE. He smirks and knows that she eventually will give in and clings to him but THEY DO IT for so many chapters. He tells her that he loved her since they were 6 and they get tgrth that's all.
Трішки мені сподобалось, трішки. В інший час жгг тупо дратувала. Не дуже зрозуміла з чого вся ненависть між ними, і при тому ця ненависть тільки з її боку.
I am honestly not super surprised that this book was so disappointing. Being so short there wasn’t much time for a plot (and there really wasn’t much of one). But it felt like the author had run out of words and decided to just keep using the same ones over and over. That, and honestly… the epilogue felt like an entirely different book with different characters. It was weird and there was no flow.
The dirty talk was so cringeworthy. I couldn’t tell if the main characters were teenagers or early 20s. The amount of times the f bomb was dropped was ridiculous. Definitely didn’t feel any chemistry between the two either.
Unsurprisingly it was terrible, and overall an uncomfortable read because as much as the author tried to dispel it, the Male Leading Character just gave off rape-y vibes? Not well written either. Waste of a time read tbh.
I loved this so much. This is by far my favorite novella by her. Theo literally came out of no where, loved that!!!! Their banter and bickering was great, felt like something you would do in real life. I loved the characters together and how it developed into more. Theos admission was EVERYTHING, I was screaming! It was so heartfelt and beautiful.

Certainly not the best novella I’ve read but it’s not bad. too repetitive in terms of dialogue but it was quite spicy. men begging will never fail to amaze me <333
definitely r*pey vibes so it was weird to me especially the switch up with his attitude towards the end but we won’t talk abt that ig😀
I just did not love this book… it’s really hard for me to be honest when I don’t like something but man, I’m trying hard to give brutally honest reviews moving forward! The writing was very repetitive and I felt no connection to these characters whatsoever. I know it was a quick novella and I’m sure that contributed to why but there was just no build up or really solid story line… it just felt like a quick story line to snag a reason to write a couple of dirty sex scenes & don’t get me wrong, I love some spicy! This had spice for sure but because of that lack of connection & storyline I think it made it harder to get through the sex scenes and really feel hooked. They felt a little awkward. This one just wasn’t for me, personally!
this christmas novella was not as good as the other one that i read but it was still fine. i wanted a little spicy something and this was just right for that
“she thinks i hate her too, that the feeling is mutual, and she couldn’t be more wrong.”

I RARELY ever give books 1-2 star ratings but I just could not with this one.
This book had potential to be great given that it had all the best tropes. I.e : Enemies to lovers, snowed in, forced proximity & one bed. Unfortunately it didn’t do it for me. I can’t quite put my finger in it but the more I read the faster my star rating fell. If this wasn’t such a quick read, I definitely would’ve DNF’d it. 🥲🫡
Some form of the word “fuck” was in this book 532 times.
Also, the mmc spent 4 chapters trying to convince the fmc to have sex with him WHILE FINGERING HER. WHAT?!? The r*pey vibes in this book was almost unbearable.
I gave it two stars bc I’m feeling nice. I was so close to 'dnf'ing.

I really really really really wanted to give this ZERO stars but sadly, Goodreads does not have this option. I believe that the author has just discovered the word "fucking" and that's why she wrote it 10 or 15 times per page.. Btw.. I did not see any characters.
I love love love all of her novellas. Her characters are so cute, their chemistry is top tier and this is just another example of that. A cute little wintry read for you to take your mind off a heavy book, or crappy weather if you saved this book for December. Every one of her novellas is a must read. This is def in my top 3.
For a new author, it wasn't horrible. However, at the beginning she used the form of fuck, fucking so many times it was hard to get passed it. But it was a nice short and sweet book. Will admit that I didn't bother reading the epilogue. At that point, I was ready to move on to other things.
I really liked the storyline. There is A LOT of spice, which was really good. I gave this 4.5 stars only because I think the use of the word "Fuck" was over used and there were some grammar errors.
Wowzaaaa! Lots and lots of spice!! Really hoping I’d see more plot but it is a novella - maybe their story continues in another book! But I did enjoy it! Super fast paced read for me!
It’s Christmas Eve, they drive into a ditch and have to spend a night in a hotel due to bad weather. You get what you pay for I guess, but doesn’t mean it’s good.
