One fierce defender. One possessive guardian. One unrelenting voyeur.
Wilder Royal Beckham
As the danger escalates, so does our anxiety over the threats against us. And with no one to turn to for guidance, everything begins to unravel … until assistance appears from a surprising source.
Sigma Iota Nu. Where existing bonds are broken, and our new life begins.
Wilder is a 100,000+ word novel, the third book in the Brutal Boys of SIN trilogy, centering around three men and one woman. MMMF. This should be read AFTER the Brothers of Hawthorne Hall trilogy and Bastards of Bainbridge Hall trilogy, as they are connected.
The publishing date will be moved forward when the book is ready for release.
WARNING: This trilogy contains dark elements, graphic content, and situations that some readers may be particularly sensitive to. If you have triggers or are remotely unsure, please contact me. Also, be warned that I don't always know how a series will end or all the underlying secrets until they reveal themselves in the writing process.
OMG! What an amazing ending to this trilogy!! All the twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat until the very end. I love this whole world that Leila has created, but this book may be my favorite. The chemistry these four had was off the charts hot! As always, I can’t wait to see what’s next!
Oof, ok, I did not like this one. I’m so frustrated because I had such high hopes for this story. The first book was a good introduction and had a good amount of suspense and tension built in. Then the following two were just dragged out, internal monologues of the characters being worried something was going to happen when nothing actually happened. The reveals all happened off page but told through the Sin Keeper cards which just seemed like lazy writing to me.
Almost nothing happened in this book until the final ten chapters, and then the author just tried to pack in as much information through exposition to try and make up for making the story pretty convoluted.
And then not even putting the epilogue into the story itself?!? Trying to wrap up all the loose ends in half a chapter and then not really saying anything about what’s going to happen to the baddies?! And the reveal about Echo’s parents was just lazyyyyy. It just seemed like a device to tie her parents to the OG Bastards when we got no hint to their involvement ever before. Idk man, it was a slog to get through this last book and I’m frustrated that I spent so much time on it. This might be my last Leila book for awhile…

Wilder is the third and final book in the Brutal Boys of SIN series by one of my most favourite authors - Leila James.
The whole freaking Kingston University World was one of the best I've laid my greedy eyes on. But the Brutal Boys of SIN was my ultimate favourite!!! This last trilogy had me in a choke hold the whole way through - Wilder being so intense and had me edge from the very first page in the very first chapter and not to mention how the final book brought all the Kingston University Trilogies together. Oh, and did you get the Bonus Chapter at the end?? - this Epilogue was perfection.. giving me a more settled feeling while coming to terms that I may have to say goodbye to all these wonderful characters I have fallen so deeply for.
Leila James' writing is pure magic - she has perfected the art of human chemistry and the plot - fucking amazing - I am here for anything and everything this woman wants to let me feast my eyes on.
I don’t know why I keep being surprised with how amazing Leila’s writing and stories are, but I am. Maybe because each book she writes gets even better. Makes me wonder how far she can take her writing. After reading Wilder I’ve decided that the brutal boys is my favourite trilogy from the Kingston university world. Tough decision but these boys swept me away and made me fall so hard for them. (I think that the relationship between the three of them also helped) it seemed as their connection was deeper. I’m so sad that Leila announced that books from this world are done. Now what will I be waiting for? Hopefully Leila is planning something different and I’m here for it! I’d read her supermarket list for Gods sake!!! If you like:
🔥🍆🍆🍆🐱 🔥Off-the-charts Steam 🔥Murder & Mayhem 🔥Plot twists galore 🔥Sin Keeper Reveal 🔥A guaranteed HEA This is the trilogy for you 5 freaking stars! Wish I can give it more ❤️❤️
This book gave great closure to an amazing series! The dynamic between Chase and Woyal was 😍😍😍 I loved how all these men took in this little boy and loved him. This book definitely answered all lingering questions and explained everything you needed to know from the all the books. Great job Leila James!!
When I say that I was on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading this book, I’m not exaggerating. I kept saying “One more chapter” until I literally couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer and had to get some sleep. The twists and turns in this book were insane and some of those reveals had my mouth dropping open.
I think this is the only series in this world where I can’t pick a favorite guy. I love all of them equally and for such different reasons. They all mesh together so well and the chemistry between all of them and Echo is just explosive. And the absolute adorableness of the way all of the guys are with Chase, and the way he is with them, is enough to make my ovaries explode.
I have loved every series in this world and I always got so excited whenever we would get cameos from the other series. I’ve enjoyed being enmeshed in this world for awhile now and I’m going to miss the characters, but I can’t wait to see what Leila is going to give us next.
This review is for the entirety of the series. This also was marked for spoilers.
To sum up the trilogy: the author was doing too much.
CHARACTERS
Echo. FMC. 18-19(?). Became a teen mom. Loves her son. She and Royal had an illicit affair in their youth, but her brother is an overprotective bitch ass, which contributed to Echo eventually lying about her abortion. She never really hates anyone. Legacy at a sorority. Sins of the father.
MMCs
Royal. 21-22(?). SIN frat brother. Imprisoned falsely. Hates and loves Echo. Wilder and Beckham are his best mates and, eventually, lovers. Hates Echo’s brother but they were once best friend. Loves his son.
Wilder. 21-22(?). SIN frat brother. Has a sister who is/was in an abusive relationship with a cop. The charmer. Fighter.
Bechkam. 21-22(?). SIN frat brother. Was groomed and raped by his nanny. Abusive and neglectful home life. Voyeur…for no reason. Enjoys making jokes at inopportune times.
Summary of Events
Book 1. Echo attends university as a freshman as a legacy to TZE while her brother is a frat brother at SIN. Echo learns her ex Royal is at SIN as well, and they have a run in that, of course, makes her wet with need and a bit frightened. A “gay couple” (Wilder and Beckham) take her back to her sorority, and Royal has best mates Beckham and Wilder come into his plan to make Echo be repaid for his wrong imprisonment. Both men agree with Beckham sneaking into her room and leaving notes and Wilder playing nice guy. Something something feelings that never left burn brighter something something sex something something the real bad guy appears, and Royal finds out he has a son.
Book 2.. With Echo terrified about a man coming into her room and leaving notes, she and her elder sister and brother involve the police. Royal reconciles he has a son, and that he was in the wrong for thinking Echo is at fault for what happened to him. Echo cries and cries about not trusting the trio after learning and dealing with their assholery, but, as we all know, sex is always on the table. They need to remain on campus as to not involve Echo and Royal’s son into this, per the bad guy. And…
Hmm…
Ah! Freya (Echo’s sorority big sister who is hardly there) and her boyfriend Zane die!
Book 3. Murder mystery! Who dunnit? Well, this is where the book is basically Royal understanding his dynamic with Wilder and Beckham, how SIN is some secret “justice league” underground society with connections everywhere, and…yeah?
Huh.
Take my advice: go watch CW’s Riverdale.
This was a trilogy that was very CW and that is not a compliment. Everything felt so contrived and last minute in all these reveals on top of reveals on top of reveals. They remind me of CW shows that really wanted to look smart and mysterious, but the creators had no idea how to do it, so they pulled connections out of their ass and hoped we would all gasp.
The gasp that I did not, in fact, guspt.
WHAT WOULD HAVE IMPROVED MY RATING.
✨ A bit more from Echo, honestly. I understand she never stopped loving Royal, but she does have a son now. That doesn’t mean she needs to be perfect. She should make mistakes. But her flaws should be recognized as flaws. Having her make these mistakes and then snap-to. I want more indicators that she was hiding something. We have her POV for the love of Christ, be useful with it! I wanted more raw mother bear anger from her regarding what all three men did. I wanted to see when she went cold, and how she decides her son’s safety takes priority, meaning she’s staying away from the three men who, by correlation, caused this shit into her home after her parents died.
✨ A little less from Echo’s brother. He’s a bit too over the top. And that’s a flaw of his, understandably. But as the trilogy progressed…why didn’t he receive any sort if character arc in simmering down? He feels like the Walmart version of Killian. Speaking of the Lords…
✨ Why is Beckham a voyeur? Tristian in Royals of Forsyth is an artistic voyeur and I love him for it. He’s a control freak. Naturally, voyeurism is there too. And this is nonsexual surveillance for him too. This extends to his mates and his little sisters. You could say this stems from his ex cheating on him. So why is Beckham a voyeur? You don’t need to psychoanalyze him but give some sort of basis. Let alone, when he revealed he was a voyeur to a rightfully upset Echo, the fuck was he whispering sensually about explaining himself. That entire scene tanked my like of Echo and Beckham’s dynamic.
✨ Romantic nonsexual bonding needed a priority. It just felt like the author thought “If they have enough sex, it’ll be a relationship!” No! Echo and Wilder honestly had the most romantic chemistry while Royal and Echo had the most sexual chemistry. I wanted to see nonsexual intimate bonding with all the relationships involved. Instead, sex = romance. Sex can contribute to romance but romance is a collective effort of various intimacies. But all right 😒
Only reason this series gets 2⭐️ is that this had good bones. It just needed some more developmental editing, IMO.

“They asked for a fight. We’re going to bring one.”
We pick back up right where we left off in Beckham. Chaos. So much going on and the way everything develops and flows it’s mind boggling. Leila is truly talented. The suspense was next level and kept the adrenaline flowing. She had me guessing right up until the end. I think the intensity was raised because of Chase, the relationships coming full circle, and the forever bond that is solidified. I have to add that having Chase really set this series apart for me. The way Echo and Royal healed over the past by focusing on his future. And how Beckham and Wilder blended into the family as if it was always meant to be. It all just warms my heart after so much heartbreak and sacrifice. Wilder is the perfect conclusion to another fantastic series by Leila James.
“I don’t feel completely secure anywhere anymore. But I feel safest when I’m with the three of you.”
“Despite everything we went through, the only part of my life prior to prison that I wanted to hang onto ... was you, Echo."
"You are not a fucking monster. You slayed the goddamn dragon. You're a protector. A fucking dark knight."
🔥 why choose 🔥 dark college romance 🔥 bully romance 🔥 MMMF 🔥 found family 🔥 touch her and ☠️
What a wild(er) ride!! I don’t know how after a year and a half of being on Leila’s ARC team that I’m still surprised with the twists and turns her books have. Wilder is no exception to that. I was on the literal edge of my seat, biting my nails throughout this entire book. I’m so sad that the Kingston University books have officially come to an end but they will always hold a special place in my heart because Leila’s book, Kingston, was one of the first ARCs I ever got and I have loved watching her grow as an author and the stories just keep getting better and better. This goes without saying, but thank you for these characters and their stories. You’ve created masterpieces that I will never forget. I’m so excited for what you come up with next!
I’ve read this whole series starting from Kingston and let’s just say it’s like a fine wine and only gets better with time!! This ending to this series did not disappoint!! I loved how this series had so many twists and turns and I didn’t not see the surprises coming!! Loved the Daddy vibes going on too. This may be my favorite of the 3 sets yet! Must read!!
WOW!!! This trilogy has been...idk. No words seem good enough. First, the characters are all amazing. The plot 🤯! Let me say this, the spice is hot af. Normally, when I'm reading a book that has a mystery/suspense plot to it, I end up glossing over the spicy scenes because I NEED to know what happens next. But apparently, when the spice involves ⚔️ and/or 3 guys and 1 girl, I can not skip it. And I wanted to because the suspense was killing me. The twists and just literally EVERYTHING about this was perfect.
I have loved every book in the Kingston University world that Leila has brought us to. Wilder was no exception to that. This book brought me to the edge of my seat and had me wondering how it was all going to come together in the end. There were quite a few twists I wasn’t expecting and I loved it. The growth of the boys of SIN was great. I loved how they all treat Echo and were there for her and her family when the time came. Fantastic end to a wonderful series!
Well Leila did it again. I was hooked on this book. Amazing series. I love how everyone got their closure in this book. Royal and Echo had a past. And a lot more information came out and they learned a lot. This book featured Wilder and Beckham as well. There were a few new people who were introduced in the book. Amazing is all I can say. I love all of the characters and how the majority of them are throughout the whole series.
Wilder was a wild ride from start to finish! I seriously couldn't stop reading til the very last page! So freaking good!! Reasons I enjoyed this book: Action-packed Easy-to-read Entertaining Great world building Happily Ever After Original Page-turner Romantic Tear-jerker Twisted Unpredictable Witty Wonderful characters
As always, this book was a five-star read for me. Leila never fails to bring an incredible, nail-biting plot and all the toe-curling spice. My favorite character development has to be Royal’s. I’ve loved watching him grow and transform from a mean, vicious ex, to a fierce protector to each of his partners. (We all saw the trope shift from MMFM to MMMF, right?!) That’s the other thing I love about Leila’s writes. She always manages to balance each individual relationship SO well. The MMC’s don’t feel imabalanced, and the FMC gets just as much attention and focus as the MMC’s when there’s MM in a harem. Loved the story of Echo, Royal, Beck, and Wilder. SO MUCH. I can’t wait to see what comes next for Miss Leila James. 🫶🏻
All I can say is WOW. What a WAY to wrap up the series. I’m in shock. Never would’ve expected the ending to this. I audibly gasped several times as things unfolded. This is definitely the best book of the SIN boys and of just the entire series. My heart was pulled in so many directions and I’m so glad I found this series!
I loved these four. The ending of this trilogy was amazing. The growth over the course of this book definitely made it one of my favorites. I couldn't wait to pick it up and it was hard to put down. Touch her and die vibes abound. If you like some mystery with your spice, this series is for you.
I was not prepared. I was absolutely NOT prepared for this book, the binge, or the hangover.
Wilder's truth and backstory was hard. There were little things that were hinted at before when it came to his past. But nothing as heavy as it ended up being. I felt for him on so many levels. I was able to identify and relate to him. The need to protect those you are closest to is so very strong. For a guy like Wilder, even more so. So being in the middle of not only his own internal battles of chaos but then the external literal small tornados around him that ended up making one giant one was so much more than he could handle on his own. It was crazy to literally watch from the outside looking in for all 4 of them. I didn't know what information to hold on to for later, or what feelings I should be grabbing on to. I had so many up and down emotions, it was crazy.
The way that the stories were all layered together with the level of thoughtfulness, creativity, complexity, and crazy good twists was brilliantly done. I don't even know how else to explain it. Just when I thought I was right about something, there's a little twist that leads to a bigger one. Then another, and another, and still unraveling some more. It just has me... still thinking about it 12 hours later. I'm not even kidding! I have a hangover from this book.
Go into this trilogy with an open mind. Pay attention to various things, but keep in mind what you see may not be what you're expecting. When you get to this book, just know you're going to need to be able to sit undisturbed and be engrossed from the very first page to the last.
Well done. The best of the whole Kingston University world. What a way to finish off with Wilder!
One last note, this trilogy DOES deal with heavy topics. Some are heavier than others. This is marked as a DARK college romance. So please be advised and take care of your mental health.
I cannot remember the last time I felt so happy and so sad all at once . Happy because I had the amazing opportunity to take part in reading and reviewing this absolutely amazing series and so sad well that’s pretty obvious because it’s finally over . And what an unforgettable ending it was . Echo , Royal , Beckham, and Wilder - all I can say is that I’m completely obsessed with each and every character. Echo is such a strong heroine And her guys each so different and so complex . These four have gone through so much to be together and if anyone deserves a happily ever after it’s without a doubt them . I really do not want to give anything away because trust me when I say that you are absolutely going to go into wilder with a completely open mind and no spoilers but what I will say is expect the unexpected, prepare yourself to be hooked from the very first page and prepare yourself for a very long night of reading. Prepare yourself for an emotional rollercoaster because I can guarantee you will be going through so many different emotions while reading. I know i dld . There were moments I was utterly speechless, moments I found myself screaming outta frustration, moments I felt like my heart was beating so fast while anticipating what was to come , moments I smiled, moments I laughed out loud , moments I cried like a baby and I without a doubt rooted so freaking hard . What never wavered was how captivated and invested I became in each character well for that fact the entire interconnected world Leila has so brilliantly and flawlessly created . Wilder is a must read for anyone who is a lover of Dark Romances , Why Choose romance, Secret Society romances, swoony protective and obsessive alphas. And Kick@@s heroines
This is book 3 in the Brutal Boys of SIN Trilogy. You can start your journey with book 1, Royal.
I think Royal said it best - "Everything was connected. ***king insanity". I had so many different theories in my head while reading this trilogy, and I was wrong at every single turn! It was a rollercoaster that I'm sad to get off of. Leila James did it again with a knockout trilogy in the Kingston U universe. I'm sad to see the end.
I usually will pick a favorite MMC in an RH, but I could not pick one. I loved each one for their own way that took care of Echo. It's been so hard not to give any spoilers away while writing my reviews, but I have SO much I want to shout about! The secrets, the stories, the trauma. All of it just leads into the character development we saw with the characters. I think I spent most of my time reading with my jaw on the floor while the plot twists were twisting!
“You are not a **king monster. You slayed the godd**n dragon. You’re a protector. A **king dark knight.”
Wilder has such a negative perception of himself, I'm so glad that Echo and the guys were able to turn that around for him. He truly is a protector. Echo had it right during that art assignment. It was very quickly clear that he had feelings for Echo early on.
Royal, he went through so much in such a short amount of time! He lost out on so many important milestones, and my heart breaks for him.
Beckham is the shadow that Echo never knew she needed. Always watching, always there. To see the story turn out how it did and see what he went through just ripped my heart out.
I need someone to read this trilogy so I have someone to scream and shout about it with! I can't wait to see what Leila James writes next.
Echo A girl that only wants her son and the guys she loves save
Royal He had a lot to endure and only wants to enjoy his son
Beckham His past catches up and brings allies with it
Wilder He has to look out and fight on so many fronts
“Anything you want, you can have. Anything. I'd go to the ends of the earth for you if you asked.”
I don't know what to say. I clearly didn't expect that. Or, at least not all of that. The story goes from one highlight to another. The events keep coming and it gets confusing and more twitched than before. In between we have steamy and sweet scenes with all or some characters. Which only shows the affection, dedication and love they all have for another and little Chase. Put some family members and friends in the mix and it's perfect. I really appreciated the appearances of former characters from this awesome world. Then the big boom comes and a lot of secrets and loose ends come together to a full circle. Some of the last chapters had my heart racing and sitting on the edge. And the whole solution was a big jaw dropping event. How all, and I mean all, always was interconnected and finally cleared off. Some people were not what you thought, and some people were maybe worse than that. In the end it all got the ending and outcome it deserved. And the happy end only showed what was visible throughout the whole story. These four love, support and care for each other. Accept each other as they are no matter their pasts and would do everything for each other. I really liked their story and I am sad to leave them but do it with a good mind and heart full of love.

It feels like the end of an Era.
Brothers of Hawthorne Hall - Kingston, Cannon & Archer ❤️ Elliot Bastards of Bainbridge Hall - Mason, Bear & Duke ❤️ Lennon Brutal Boys of SIN - Royal, Beckham & Wilder ❤️ Echo
When I say that I personally loved every book, I may have received an ARC but I also have purchased all of the books from Leila James so that I could have them all signed. I also have all the swag!
There is something sinister brewing at Kingston University, from murder to kidnapping and trafficking. But where there is evil, there is always good. And we finally get eyes on the heroes of Kingston University. We got enough tidbits through the story that when the faces were revealed, the lightbulb of recognition went off. I’m sad that this is the end but I’m glad I was along for the ride! This one gave ALL the feels!!
My Personal Ratings:
5 Stars: Loved it! Couldn’t put it down or obsessed about it while needing to get to the end of it. Had to share some bits with my hubby!! Usually read in less than 2 days cause a girl has got to sleep sometime. Will be reading everything this author has to offer and most likely reread the series as next books in the series are released.
4 Stars: Really Good. Whether the story drew me in or a specific character, will definitely continue the series and look into more books by this author.
3 Stars: Enjoyed something about the book, whether it be the storyline or a character but also may have not liked something. Sometimes the book is great but needs some TLC from an editor. May or may not continue the series.
If you like RH you are going to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this. If you've never read an RH start with the best. Start with Leila. If you think you don't like RH, these books will most likely change your mind.
Here's how you do it. Kingston, Cannon, Archer (Brothers of Hawthorne Hall) Mason, Bear, Duke (Bastards of Bainbridge Hall) Royal, Beckham, Wilder (Brutal Boys of SIN)
Nine books. Each one perfection in it's own right. But together...holy sh*t. It's college bully, romantic suspense, but there is no drama between the three guys and their lady. They don't fight over her, they fight for her. They worship her. They're over the top protective in the best way. They share each other in every way. Sometimes it's MF, sometimes MM, sometimes MMFM.
And every minute is glorious. The steam is some of the best I've ever read. You will be all worked up. Trust me.
I'm sad it's over but I will read them all again. I had to turn the pages so fast that I'm sure there is things I missed.
To everyone who chose Kingston for me...I thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You started me on a wicked good path that I'll never regret.
***Edited to add...There's a bonus epilogue you have to download. DO. IT. Do not turn off that kindle until you read the epilogue. It ties the whole series in a dirty, hot bow!
Why Choose Dark Romance University Setting Touch Them & ☠️ Fight Night Single Mom Mystery & Secrets ⚔️
Wilder is the final book in the Brutal Boys of SIN trilogy. The books should be read in order for maximum enjoyment. The trilogy follows the Brothers of Hawthorne Hall & the Ba$tards of Bainbridge Hall trilogies. They can be read independently but the characters do crossover.
Echo, Wilder, Beckham, and Royal find themselves enmeshed in the midst of a mystery that threatens not only their futures but also their families. The stakes are raised even higher when they realize that the conspiracy against them has been in play for years. Who can they trust? Who are the true villains in this story?
Wilder ramps up the suspense, the danger, and the steam. It will have you reading on the edge of your seat. It truly is an unputdownable read. Leila James pulls seemingly innocuous strings from the first two books in this series and weaves them into an elegant tapestry. Just when you think all secrets have been revealed, she winks, says hold my beer and ties in threads of jaw dropping revelations from the first two trilogies. Prepare to read this book with mouth agape. A must read for dark romance lovers.
There are so many twists in this book that it was blowing my mind🤯
This picks up where book 2 ended and it’s hectic!
You go on an amazing journey of them growing closer, finding out secrets but they lead to more unanswered questions, Royal giving into his feelings for Wilder & Beckham, Royal spending time with Chase an so many other things…
Everyone is connected and when it’s all explained your jaw will drop!
I said in book 1 that her brother gave me a vibe but I wasn’t expecting it to be what it was….. That hurt my heart for Royal and Echo…
I absolutely love how Chase says all of their names haha It’s so stinking cute!
I loved when Royal and Echo told Chase that Royal was his dad🥹
Royal has loved her for a very long time and missed out on so much but all 5 of them together make the perfect family.
Wilder, Royal, Beckham, Echo & Chase =🫶🏻
Make sure to download the bonus epilogue🥵 Echo loves the chase😜
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT I DID TO DESERVE ANY OF YOU. BUT I HOPE YOU KNOW HOW MUCH YOU MEAN TO МЕ. "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING, LOVE? I SWEAR YOU GIVE US LIFE." I GRIP HER CHIN, TIPPING HER FACE TO MINE. "AND WE AREN'T EVER LETTING YOU GO."
HOLY CRAP 🤯 🔥🩵 Listen, the moment I picked up a book by Leila, I knew I was going to be in trouble. 2 weeks later and I had finished all of the Brothers of Hawthorne Hall, Bastards of Bainbridge, and the first 2 books in the Brutal Boys of SIN series. I was waiting so patiently for Wilder to be released and it did NOT disappoint. Also, let me just say, I’m only at 71% of this book and I’m just speechless. One sentence made EVERYTHING (well most of it) click into place and I’m slack jawed at the moment. I want to continue, but I need a moment to collect my thoughts as my mind has been blown.
Leila has an incredible way of making you feel like you’re in the scene with these people. I’m not one with a big imagination, so for an author to be able to explain things so eloquently and not feel like they’re dragging something out, it’s awesome.
This entire series is worth it, the Wilder book means a ton because it’s the finale of this entire world Leila has created at KU and that is hard to say goodbye to for sure. However, the book itself is completely worth reading.
For the best experience, start reading from the very beginning with the Kingston book. They all tie together in little ways and it’s a much better reading experience.
Me: Leila James is seriously just amazing. I’m not surprised at how incredibly she can weave a story together. Also me: OH MY GOD! Every book I read by Leila James takes me on such a surprising road of darkness and twists and turns! Ahhhhhhhhhh!
Wilder is no different. Leila’s mind is like no other, and I’m seriously here for it! I’m sad this is the end of Kingston University, but I’m hoping she has more incredible stories for us! As with all of her books, I love this one, but I found there’s a huge difference in this one than the others, and oh my God, ya’ll…
The relationship. It’s the relationship. The relationship between everyone in all of the others was a slow build. At least in my opinion. Which is absolutely great! I still love it. But with this series and this book, I feel like everything is so well established already that by the time we get to this book, the bond that’s already there only cements into something beyond unbreakable.
I’ve read all of Leila’s books, and this one is, by far, her absolute best. Can I give more than 5 stars? Please? This one deserves all of them.
