OMG - really bad writing. Totally unbelievable story.

A bit confusing. The books in the "set" are all written by different authors with different plots and characters. I read this title as part of a 4 book set (not 51). The different takes on what could happen after an EMP were fascinating and mostly page turners.... except for the fillers that involved all the introspection characters went through over and over and over again. I actually started skimming those parts since I'd already heard it enough times already, and wanted to get to the action.
Another thing I have to say regarding these ebooks... get an editor! Or at least use a word processing app that has a grammar checker. It is very annoying to notice words that are skipped, duplicated, or just the wrong word!

This is a great EMP series, three stories in the box set. I did really enjoy all three adventures, lots of good ideas & I really liked pretty much all of the characters! A little more on the cozy side I felt, but not a soft post apocalyptic read as there is death & mayhem through out the series! A really great selection! I do recommend & will look for more by this writer in the future!

Last Light
Excellent excellent series. Lots of continually flowing action, some edge of your seat. All portions contained really strong characters. Bits and pieces of humor, sadness and " I really like this guy" moments. Talented writers with awesome imaginations. Take time to read this you won't regret one moment .

Fair survival skills mentioned, good battles, well written. Maybe a few more technical details, maybe flesh out relationship more, or explain how they progressed.
