Ran the corporate rat race by day, dabbled in comfort zone spirituality by night. Engineer by trade, Analytical by mind, Wanderer by heart, Lost as a soul. I had my separate material and spiritual worlds. Neatly compartmentalized and entered as per convenience. That was until I met my spiritual Master, Mohanji and started travelling with Him. A journey of five years and counting that shook my foundations. The worlds collided, went topsy-turvy, and spun out of control.Join me in my walk with a Master on the road less traveled, expecting the unexpected, and making sense of the nonsense.

The funniest book on spirituality out there!

If you are curious about the world of spiritual masters but find the existing literature too dense/ emotional/ philosophical, this book will be a great starting point. The book records the travels of a spiritual teacher (Mohanji) from the eyes of his skeptic, unassuming disciple (the author Rajesh Kamath). And what happens when a rational, corporate guy gets to watch a spiritual teacher at close range? You get a book with lots of self-deprecating humor, skepticism, self-doubt, butt-kicking and wonder.
The book echoed many doubts that I faced in my journey. What if you believe there is a rational explanation for every mystical occurrence? What if you can't relate to or even believe others' mystical experiences (seeing dreams, fancy lights, divine beings etc.) What if you begin to question whether you even belong in this set-up? What if you meet people in the spiritual field who are just as conceited and unhappy as folks in the regular world? How do you reconcile your experiences?
Well Kamath has been through the grinder and has shared his experiences in a witty frank manner. Do check it out!

I want to express my deep gratitude to Rajeshji for writing Miraculous Days with Mohanji. I just finished reading it and from bottom of my heart I am so thankful to him as with every consecutive page there were so many revelations and pieces of wisdom which were shared. This deepened my respect and devotion for Guru Mohanji all the more and broke so many cliche patterns relating to spirituality, Guru and the tradition of liberation. With his simple, honest and clear narration, I could feel the emotions behind his experiences with Mohanji which was indeed very beautiful. I never knew about so many holy places and Gurus and this book enlightened me about them. Thank you for this extremely wonderful book. You are a great example of a brutally honest devotee and this I have learnt from you and trying to implement it in my life as well. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone which comes with such a refreshing perspective towards spiritual path with equally refreshing language. Thank you once again. Jai Mohanji

The experiences the author shares in this book are indeed Miraculous. This book shows 2 different sides of existence working together side by side. One, it show the divinity working flawlessly in the presence of a realized being who has reached the higher realms of consciousness. On the other side - the foolishness of a mind that has a hard time comprehending the divinity in every moment of existence due to it's inherent limited nature. In between stands the author trying to soak in the lightness of the first and endure the weight of the later. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to open themselves to another possibilities of existence - right here and now on this very planet Earth.

I was thinking of buying this book online, but somehow I was not getting the book online. Then I had been to Shirdi for a seva, where I got this book at Ahimsa cafe. I had to get it at Shirdi.

Now coming to the book. One of the best spiritual books I have read. Rajesh ji has written it so beautifully that anyone will get glued to the book. He has written it with so much of humility, humour and truth in it. I have laughed and cried while reading the book.

I recommend that this book should be read and experience it for yourselves.

Excellent book and very well written. I could literally visualize all that Rajesh experienced and also the ups and downs his mind went through... mentioned in some pages of the chapter... Thanks for writing this book Rajesh. You gave me the experience of me being with Mohanji while reading through the chapters and also for narrating your experiences with different Masters you came across during your travel with Mohanji...

A must read! This is one of those books you read in one go, cover to cover. Rajesh is such a good writer and the dose of humor makes the read quite an amazing one. Each story is flavored by his devotion for the Master and it is contagious.

For as long as I remember, growing up as a seeker reading writings of various Masters, I have always wondered what it'd have been like to have walked alongside and been with some of the great Masters of recent times such as Shirdi Sai Baba, Ramana Maharishi, Paramhansa Yogananda, Sathya Sai Baba, and many others. While they all seem to have a larger than life persona when we read about them after their times, such great souls have seemingly lead a simple life for the benefit of the world at large, that hides layers of other dimensions that isn't readily apparent, and requires cross correlation of various facts/experiences gathered from others for us to truly understand their greatness (they All actively shy away from publicly performing anything that resembles a miracle - barring a few exceptions).

Rajesh's personal account of being alongside one such Master of our times is one such gem that really reveals how spiritual greats operate at various subtle levels. His various experiences, told directly as first hand stories through an inimitably cheeky humorous style, is absolutely golden raw material for those true seeker (or the regular dude on the street) who sincerely wishes to understand how Masters operate in this day and age, wearing jeans and tanks! No blind belief or faith needed here - especially for skeptical and analytical minds such as mine.

If I were to find a fault with this book, I'd say editing could have been a bit tighter! In summary, after reading this book I feel truly grateful to Rajesh for capturing his amazing experiences in a book form for all to cherish in our lifetime! Love the cover art as well!

During our lives, there are pockets of moments which will make you feel "surreal". Those moments gets engraved in your memory strongly and you tend to revisit them when another incident of same or lesser magnitude is experienced in your life.

Who can forget their first love? Who can forget the saddest moment in their life? who can forget an invincible support they receive when they hit the rock bottom of their life? Behind all these sits something called KARMA. To a few, it's a means to mask their inability and to others, it's acceptance of a divine's play behind every act and there's a perfect acceptance.

While reading through this book, I could recall my experiences (good, bad, ugly, terrible) with plenty of EUREKA moments. To me, reading a book such as this is a nice way to stay connected to the master because:

1) the author is no better than me, he has travelled the path that I am currently travelling in
2) the mind's play experienced by the author is no different to what I encounter every moment
3) this book excites, encourages and motivates me to reassemble myself when in shambles and reinstate the FAITH in Guru.

Every word in this book is a pearl of wisdom from a perfectly imperfect human and you are sure to be mesmerised. By the time you finish this book, you are sure to get clarity, improve your connection with your Guru or God or divine and you are sure to be motivated to take a plunge if you haven't already done it.

I absolutely loved reading the Miraculous Days with Mohanji! I'm a working mother and have very little 'me time'. Since I started reading the book, I was absolutely obsessed with it and would go back to reading it every minute I could steal. The book made me laugh, made me cry, made me very reflective... made me want to walk away from everything around and also made me want to stay within and centered.

I absolutely loved Kamath's style of writing. Enjoyed the humour, the straight-forwardness, the profound experiences shared with painstaking details. I'm filled with gratitude to the master and his chosen agent for sharing such beautiful experiences with me. It felt like I was with them in the journey when they travelled to Shiridi, to Rishikesh, through the outer kora, in the inner kora and with all the masters...

I relate to the author so much, the yearning, the monkey mind, feeling not good enough, wanting more and more of the master... I so loved the book, that I have started reading it again. I'm sure I will read it many times in my life... I typically give away books after I read them, but this one has a special place, in my heart and definitely a permanent place in my small book shelf. After the very popular "Autobiography of a yogi", this is the book I enjoyed the most. It's an absolute must read and an enjoyable treat. Thank you Mohanji and Kamath for sharing this precious gift to the world. I look forward to many more.

Rajesh is an ebulient personality, with a charming countenance. He had traversed the worldly and spiritual planes, albeit at his convenience. Here is a recounting of his journey, on the road less travelled by. He has the divine blessings of Guru Mohanji, who in his own subtle ways , has put Rajesh on the true path of liberation. Rajesh is fortunate to have Mohanj's grace for 5 years. Here is a book which reads like the yarn of yore. It is a true rendition of the ease , nay the hardships and sacrifices needed, for the Guru or Master to bring the sheen on Gold. And well the Master here is a tattva, beyond metaphysics or generics. Or is it so? Go thru the book. It will kindle thoughts you never knew , were there in you, with you. Oh and shall it not make us miss a beat , or take our cognitive scope to higher realms, hmm a tear or two and yes you know you are on board. Mohanji is there smiling away and as always takes care of his disciples , Rajesh being creme de la creme . Do come back on how you felt. Jai Mohanji. Blessings to Rajesh , from fellow travelers , on the path of liberation, with Mohanji being the captain of the Ship. Blessed be all , who have laid their hands on this book, for yeah it will nudge you on to glory, to the Master , take you to the Holy Grail. A must read. Savitri and Jayasurya

I am not a huge fan of spiritual books, mainly because they tend to get too preachy. Which is exactly why I LOVED this book by Rajesh Kamath. The writing is relatable (especially for cynics who are also seekers), the additional quips by Kamath as an accessory to the main narrative help us 'enter' the story ourselves (it's like Kamath is right next you and telling you a story) and the experiences so riveting that it's difficult to put the book down.

Sure, we're taken through almost as many meal-eating experiences as there are of Mohanji's grace, but that's what adds the requisite flavour to such a book. However, just because it's an easy read, one must not mistake it for being light. The lessons and guidance simply imparted through the author's experiences with Mohanji and observations of his interactions with the divine amidst us need to be churned and internalized by the reader. However, this whole assimilation process is actually quite effortless.

While the editing could have been more sharp, that doesn't take away from the essence of the book. Highly recommended for those who constantly question, but don't want to, as well as those who have wondered how a spiritual master works and teaches those around him. My major takeaway... I don't think I'll ever look at any random person on the street the same way again. You've got to read the book to find out why!

A wonderful book, truly one of a kind that gives an inside view on what one of these 'elevated beings' or Gurus are really like! “They” are nothing like we would expect. Whether you know Mohanji or not, this book is an intimate look into how a Guru operates in this world, with HIS strange ways that may challenge your notion of “what is reality?”.

Some of the stories in this book are beyond belief, and some are beyond love, but even the ones that haven't met Mohanji could feel his presence. And there were plenty of those jaw dropping stories where you would just go ”wow - really?”. If you are skeptic by nature, let this book give you seed of faith and belief. Remember, this book will find you, and when it finds you, the time is just right for you.

The book is entirely comprised of some short and long stories, so it's a super easy read, and you can just flip around the book to any chapter that interests you. I thoroughly enjoyed the read and the author's witty style of writing and kept laughing at many of the instances that he narrated. You start looking at things differently after reading this book.

May you also enjoy the read :-)
Thank you dear Rajesh Kamath for a wonderful book with deep insights into LIFE.

Amazing read with insights about how an elevated master operates. Also the journey of a common man, his trials and tribulations, how ones own mind operates which is so relatable to other seekers of truth. The book once held inhand is a page turner with so many interesting events, which only a person who has been with the true master, on a daily basis, can experience. While the book is not just a series of events, each event also is food for thought with deep insights so well understood and explained by the author. Seemingly simple incidents are great teachings by themselves, when dwelled into deeply. Icing on the cake is, its laced with witty lines and humour, as an individual from this generation so well relates to. Even to understand the hidden messages behind each incident takes an extremely devoted and mature spirit, which the author so well exhibits. A must read for all the seekers of truth and to understand the operating levels and stature of an Elevated Master like Mohanji!! Well done!!

I read this book literally cover to cover! With most “spiritual” book content, the general concern is one of being too serious and preachy. This book is a refreshing change from that stereotype! The author is honest and self-deprecating, with a healthy dose of humor, making it very relatable for the average person engrossed in their daily routines and struggles. Constructed as a series of episodes and events, the book makes for easy reading.
At the same time, it packs quite a punch in the subtle messages and deep insights that come from being in the proximity of an exalted master, especially a living spiritual guide such as Mohanji. The author also lays bare the challenges in the process, and the various pitfalls that any seeker needs to watch out for.
At the heart of it all is a simple message that spirituality is not a separate pursuit, and that one needs to find this balance even with all the attendant responsibilities of life. I strongly recommend this book for anyone with an interest in spirituality.

This is such a well written book and I'd say an essential for any spiritual seeker whether you follow Mohanji or not. Rajesh is openly honest about his skepticism of masters and 'Gurus' and this honesty helps describe Miracles of Mohanji in an accessible way to someone with similar skepticism. The beauty of the writing is that it also captures his own journey into belief ... moving through into full faith. Something easy to relate to.

All stories and encounters are delivered with humor, lightness and true insight.

In describing the stories and reliving the events it also gives the reader a small glimpse into the lives of masters, how they operate, their life of dharma and how one can bring grace into their lives.

It's a refreshing read from other 'heavy' or theoretical spiritual books I've read and it's one that I will keep going back to. I look forward to more as Rajesh's journey with Mohanji continues!

"Miraculous Days with Mohanji" is a beautifully written account by the author who first hand experienced the grace of being with a living master. It is very engaging and through this book he takes us along with him on his spiritual journey where one moment we are enthralled by unusual , live changing experiences which explains the stature of a high master like Mohanji and the other moment we are in splits as the auther doesn't shy away from making fun of himself or situations in very interesting humourous ways. Written with upmost honesty, the author helps us visualize and even feel every moment described which makes it very relatable . The book is a very refreshing read , which without being too serious presents to us the various flavours of spirituality and the beauty of sailing through the various troughs and crests of life with our Guru being the wind under our wings.

Miraculous days with Mohanji , what a book ! @Rajesh Kamath , simply now words , and emotions beyond words of appreciation. I have seen you only a couple of times , but your narration kept your presence throughout th book as the story teller. I laughed and cried with the book. I must say , the book itself is Mohanji, there are such intense energy while reading some chapters , I had to keep the book down, for the energy to mellow down. You cannot just finish the book simply. I felt waves of energy passing my body in many chapters , and I was bawling like a child. Only when it subsides will I be able to move to the next chapter, never ever felt this way before. After that book, many things settled down in me. It feels surreal to think that how casually my meetings with Mohanji has been, oh why did I not read this book before ? What a Mahatma he is yet so simple and ordinary

In this profound and at times humorous, Miraculous days with Mohanji, Rajesh Kamath has narrated his personal story with such great maturity and humility that it touches my heart deeply and rekindles my spiritual affinity. It is not easy to bring out the infinite nature of spirituality with human intellect and logical reasoning. The divine Grace that Mohanji has bestowed on Rajesh has given us this blessing to experience and embrace the universal dimension as we read this great testimonial. Each experience will open the reader’s mind, answer questions and conflicts and help look beyond the dualistic interpretations of the mind. It is indeed mind blowing and a must read! Thank you, Rajesh.

Having grown up listening to stories of mystic gurus and my passion for reading, I started this book during travelling in Himalayas, a month ago. The impact of the book on me was that I could imagine all the content playing in front of my eyes - the simple yet comprehensive miraculous stories of a master from the author.
This book became part of my life in a way that I started living it's characters.

Every experience with Mohanji that the author has described touches your life in one way or the anoyher. This is the book for all age groups and all ethnic groups because it serves something for everyone.

If you are seeking spirituality or ways of living a peaceful life, I will highly recommend this book.

Miraculous days with Mohanji is a magnificient opus presenting the readers with a wonderful peek into the author's inner as well as external journey with a peerless Master. Even a casual browse would tell us as to how the writer has highlighted the experiences with focus on facts and fidelity to the details, thereby keeping his own insights and perceptions to the barest minimum. Ofcourse whenever the situation or the event really begs for some insight, the observations are so subtle and striking. To quote author's own words - "What we get to see in the Master's work is only the tip of the iceberg compared to what is not seen". In my opinion the book is bound to leave a lasting impression on any reader no matter whether someone is inquisitive or spiritually inclined.

_My reading journey of this book is continue. I have just completed 13th Chapter but could not stop to express my feelings. It's indeed a Miraculous Journey.....I am feeling that I am travelling with the author of this book, Rajesh Kamath, and experiencing The Divine Play. Wonderful narration, to the point and above all very touchy words. Before stopping, let me mention about "Neelkanth- Blue Neck". Neelkanth means Lord Shiva or The Complete Annihilation of personal identities. It's a State.......The Powerful explanation of This State by Mohanji for a Modern Man is amazing in Chapter # 13.....................bye for now.....going to Ch.14. _

I highly recommend this book for all earnest spiritual seekers. Each page is filled with joy and cheer with lots of humour in between. All chapters are written with an incredible simplicity that you don't feel tired or bored after continuous readings. Very helpful in clearing doubts regarding the thinking of an aspirant following the spiritual path being doubtful but to have complete faith in your Guru. The dedication on the first page itself is most inspiring - To the god who made this funny world and parachuted me in the middle of it without a map or manual. The story of luckiest loan man and meeting Hanumanji in Ram Jhula inspired me the most in this book full of miracles.

A spiritual thriller is what I sum up this book as. Very beautifully the author pens down his ride on his spiritual path as gets connected to his Guru as well as the uncanny and mystic ways the Gurus operate. For seekers who have just embarked on their journey or for people with analytical minds a perfect read to reinstate their faith and conviction I their Master ,Guru and tge tradition. Every now and then the author made me identify with him the emotions, the doubts which creeped in me and how these are dissolved too.
Recommend to one and all for its style, the humour and the strong message it gives to the readers that if you stay strong in your faith there is no turning back
