Emma Kate swore she was done being the family screwup, but one night in Vegas and she’s … oh no.

She’s always tried to do the right thing—not that it ever works. Now she’s found the one man who won’t quit anything until he’s succeeded at it.

Keith doesn’t need a wife and Emma Kate doesn’t need a Vegas wedding she can’t explain to her sisters. Family is what they both crave most but being together means lying to everyone they love.

Come back to Breathless, Georgia for this steamy, dreamy southern romance. Fans of Kristan Higgans and Susan Mallery will love this next installment in the series called, “wonderfully written” and “so easy to feel you are right there.”

Will Keith be able to hold on to Emma Kate or is she too scared of failing her family to even try?

"Love didn’t erase the bad times, and it didn’t create the good times, but it made all the times better."

Savannah Kade writes good books but they're so drawn out. This is another book in this series that just had me screaming, "When is she going to tell the people that matter?!" This book could've been shorter and not have lost the storyline.

I liked Emma Rose's story more than I thought I would. Her character was written as a hot mess in the series. Emma and Keith balance each other really well. I would have preferred if the last chapter was a true epilogue opposed to it introducing, Ever.

I received a free copy of this book for my honest review.

I am loving this "Breathless series more and more.

"What have I done?", Emma Kate Mayfair woke up with a hangover after a night out in Las Vegas, she was in a wedding dress complete with veil and tiara next to a handsome man who she couldn't even remember meeting.

Emma Kate had always considered herself a mistake, she was seven years younger than her sisters, they were typical well bred Southern Belles and behaved exactly as they should, Emma Kate on the other hand had no real direction, she was on her way home from college after once again deferring the thesis for her degree.

When Keith Lee woke up next to a beautiful woman in a wedding dress he was horrified, one because he didn't know who she was and two because he realised that they were married. Keith was on his way to take up a position as a veterinarian in Breathless.

Keith offers Emma Kate the spare room in his cottage until they can get the marriage annulled .

Emma has a talent for homemaking and Keith grew to love the little homely touches to the cottage and the delicious homemade meals, as they had spent so much money on the "wedding" they were broke but Emma Kate also had a talent for doing things on the cheap, she even had a blog and followers.

Emma and Keith grew closer as the weeks went by but how was Emma Kate going to tell her protective sisters that she had a husband who she had now fallen in love with ? Could Keith trust that she loved him when she wouldn't tell her sisters, was she ashamed of him, would this pull them apart ?

This is a really lovely story with a beautiful gentle romance

What I Liked:
1. Keith and Emma Kate - despite the crazy way these two characters met, I actually really enjoyed seeing them grow together in this story. When it first started, I also thought that Emma Kate was flakey and maybe not the most intelligent/driven. But as the story continued, I loved that she was intelligent and driven with her creative DIYs, cooking, organizing, and eventually her thesis. I also liked that she wasn’t perfect. We saw this with her insecurities with her sisters and when her and Keith were first getting to know each other. In my opinion, Keith had less character depth than Emma Kate but I still liked him. He was sweet, supportive, and for the most part super understanding. I also liked that he appreciated Emma Kate immediately and all of the things she did to make their house feel like a home. I liked that he was aware enough of his feelings to tell her that he wanted to be married for real and telling her he loved her first instead of THAT being the miscommunication. Even though I don’t love miscommunication as the conflict, I understood it. When you love someone, you should be proud to be with them, and I’m glad Emma Kate came around.

What I Didn’t Like:
1. The intro - I really wish we had more info into how Keith and Emma Kate met and how they got married. I felt just as lost as they did but I’m sure that was intentional

It's easy for an accidental Vegas marriage romance to seem cheesy or forced. But this was none of that. Once again Savannah Kade has written believable characters who struggle to come to grips with what they've done and how to deal with the consequences. Along the way we see some of the other characters we've met in her other novels about Breathless, Georgia, but this book could just as easily stand alone. I would give this 4.5 stars if I could, it's a great book but I can't just give all of Savannah Kade's books 5 stars, haha. Rebel by Savannah Kade Was A Creative Addition to the Breathless Georgia Romance Series.

Emerson Kate (Emma-Kate) Charlotte Mayfair, the h, and Keith Lee, the H, were an interesting couple to watch.

I wasn't sure how this story was going to pan out, and I did experience a few frustrating moments, due to the characters interactions.

Although I was also left with a few unanswered questions, I did enjoy Emma-Kate's creative inspiration, and Keith's determined drive, which gave me a sense of an overall, enjoyable read.

This was an enjoyable read. Emma and Keith are the sweetest couple. Their story keeps you gripped from the beginning watching them navigate their relationship and grow together. You feel you are right there with them due to the great attention to detail. Emma has always seen herself as a failure but she is anything but. It just takes a surprise marriage in Vegas and a home of her own to make her shine.

Interesting book

Emma Rose and Keith meet in Las Vegas and the next morning wake up married. Neither one has the money to get the marriage annulled. Where Keith tells his family right away he is married, Emma Rose keeps it a secret from her family.the interactions of the families are interesting. Keith's reaction to her not telling her family she is married. Gives Emma Rose time to realize what is important. It's a well written and I defeating book.

This was a great story, but the cover picture and title are completely misleading. It's not a hot story with an alpha male.
It's a sweet story with great characters, a storyline that's some what believable, and our HEA. But, the "Rebel" is not the cover picture. She's a sweet southern belle!
I wasn't sorry I read the book, just disappointed every time the cover picture came up.

good book

Emma and Keith meet in Vegas and of course end up married now realizing they are both going to the same town in Georgia they decide to make a go of their marriage which adds for a very good book with excellent characters.

a gentle yet amazing read

I’m seventy plus and was raised with many of the ideals Emma Kate was taught. It’s a charming story with enough zip to capture my interest and lead to perilously late night reading. Complex family dynamics and serendipity intertwine.

It is easy to say my love for this series grows with each new book. Every one of them is my new favorite, then I remember bits from the previous books and can not choose a favorite. Emma Kate has, until now, been elusive to pin down. I could not wait to finally find out what makes her tick…and it is finally here!
Emma Kate comes alive more than ever in this book. I feel as connected to her as to her family. They are each very different people, but it would be hard not to relate to at least one thing with each. I am continually amazed at how real this author is able to make a story.
Not only is Emma Kate a wonderful person to get to know, our hero is a true hero. He is a veterinarian and one special man. Things may not have gone as planned, but he rolls with it quite well. That is not to say there are no rough patches to work through.
As with every other book in the series, it portrays real life problems and obstacles to work around. There are always deeper meanings to these pitfalls in every book. That in itself draws the reader in and makes you reflect more deeply on the issues at hand. I believe this way of writing is on another level that appeals to those readers that don’t want just another fantasy to read and forget. Those of us that love stories with great attention to detail and the many facets of life can not get enough. This series sticks in your mind and really makes you feel and see the characters and settings in a way that stays with you long after the reading. If you have not read the rest of the series, I highly suggest starting with “Gifted” and working your way to this one. You will not regret it!

This was a very enjoyable romantic story. Emma Kate and Keith met in a very unusual way but they made the best of it. She was so organized and creative and he was so hard working they complimented each other. Keith wanted to tell everyone about Emma Kate but she was reluctant to share the news of her marriage with her family. The story is so fun and unexpected it is impossible to stop reading.
