I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. There is much more to the history and diversity of New York State than I had imagined. The book captures one's attention.
This was an interesting read. I never knew the history of New York. All I had ever been exposed to was just the brief history of it, usually dealing with colonial events. It was nice to see the entire history of it.
Unfortunately, this book only skims the surface of the rich history of New York during the American Revolution, and even then jumbles some of the facts.
I was disappointed. The quality of the writing and editing is substandard. The author clearly has a political agenda. Strongly suggest reading another book.
