Amazing book, extremely helpful when you're starting out, I noticed a difference in the way I was being perceived the very next day after applying some of the principles. Make sure to reread it a few times, a lot of information to remember and implement.
Some helpful stuff, some obvious stuff, and I wish he’d given more details on his career, what he sold, what he made, etc. I’d say the first half is really good but the second half gets a bit too specific and/or obvious, where you can kinda skim chunks of it. I think Grey would have done better to dedicate 50 pages to his exact story, company names excluded, if need be. Instead it’s just generic or specific advice, whereas I’d like to know what success actually resulted in, for the author, over a whole career.
For seasoned d2d veterans, this book will mostly be a review of many things you already know and employ daily on the doors. That being said, there are a few nuggets sprinkled throughout the book that I’m excited to try out. For all the rookies out there, this is a must read and will be a valuable supplement to any sales training manual you’ve already been provided.

Never got out of the pure selling mode. I wanted to learn more about making appointments instead of making a sale at the first approach. But it was helpful.
Unlike other sales books I've read, this stuff is awesome because it is actionable and provides very concrete examples and actual scripts! I honestly wished I had picked up this book first! I loved it so much that I decided to also pick up the audible version so that I can continue to ruminate on the contents during my drive. I'm so thankful I got a hold of this book!
If you've ever knocked doors you'll understand a lot of what Lenny says throughout the book. Having been a by product of selling successfully from door-to-door I found this book to have some hidden gems. There were a lot of things that I've known and a lot of things I learned. I'd recommend it a mandatory read for any first year door-to-door sales rep to read.
Read this will selling solar panels door to door. It was a great way to stay motivated and to learn the trade. It boils down to its all up to the salesman. Its in your attitude and your belief. Assume the sale!
