Who's the handsome chef that has San Francisco's elite craving more than just his cuisine?Wait... is this the same man who thinks love is off the menu?Stumbling into his restaurant was an accident, but locking eyes with Mike? Electric. He's a culinary genius, commanding his kitchen like a king and his knives like a samurai. And me? I'm the small-town author who apparently knows how to stir more than just his sauce. But hold on.I'm in San Francisco for book signings, not heart entanglements.Yet, the way he presents each dish — like an artist revealing his masterpiece — has me rethinking my priorities. He's cooked up a storm in my life, but can he serve a dish called 'forever'?Or is this just a taste of a love story destined to remain unfinished?
Bumping Into A Forever - This is a heartfelt insta-love romance, where two people help each other deal with the pain of past, so they can find happiness together in the future. The angst, slow build romance and engaging characters, made it an interesting read. This is the first time I have read one of Amanda Mask’s book and it was good, but even though the story didn’t flow smoothly, it didn’t detract from the overall storyline.

This could have been a lovely and romantic story but too much happened that was just trivial. I appreciated that it was clean. It's got some good bones, it just need better development. There was too much telling and not enough showing (if it had the showing, it would have been five times longer and so much better). If only we had more of their time together, actually showing of their time together and not just telling what happened, I could have felt what the characters were feeling, I could have related to the characters better if we had the story take us through their chats, their interactions, but all we got was both remembering the connection they felt. It was weird, we have most of the book with them alone remembering and pondering than them actually together.
I won't leave a rating, because this book has not gone through the editing stages it desperately needs. It's quite distracting to read a book with typos and plot issues. I'm hoping the author will take this story and let a developmental editor and line editor to make it perfect and top it off with a proofreader.
Mike and Susan are introduced in a very unique way when her manuscript is blown through the air by a gust of wind. He comes to her rescue, and it starts their journey. He is a chef and her an author in town for book signings. Will the culinary genius be able to whip up a batch of passion to serve to his author and get a happily ever after in the process.

He has never felt like this before and neither has she. Follow these two has they try to navigate a present with the past demons from relationships coming popping up.
Gifted Chef by Amanda Mask. This was a new author for me. This was a nice story. But I’m sorry the way it was written I didn’t find very interesting. It had me wanting to rush ahead and skipping over the words. I don’t know how to explain it any better. I felt like I was listening to a story. Not like I was in the middle of it, watching everything happen All around me.
Angst slow build romance . The idea for this book has potential, I think further character development to give depth would make the story more engaging and thus the story flow . I urge the author to do a re-write with more context content.

A novella with a singular open door scene. I appreciate the need for communication in a relationship, this one seemed to take it very deep without chemistry. Spoiler And the communication never delved into sexual safety. I do not understand how they can just take a break without any emotional angst and also not talk about not using condoms or be safe in sex.
WOW you better watch out because this short story about Susan and Mike just might make your heart skip a beat or two reading it. They are some well written characters in an engaging and romantic storyline. So, if you're looking to spare a few hours in your day I suggest you grab this book by Amanda. You will be thanking me later. :)
This was a very interesting book! My son was a chef and I remember how passionate he was about cooking!I have written and realized that writing was passionate! Werutung
Nah, I know it's a short novel, but oh my god there's nothing to it. It feels empty, and there's a repetition of contemplating life, decisions, and dreams. Seriously. Personally, I should stop reading short stories because I don't really like them. They're usually quick and don't explain anything. But the novel is good for other people, and that's my fault because it didn't suit me, not the novel's.
