High school rivals turned small town enemies, a meddling family, and two stubborn guys who don’t realize they’re in love…
Logan Nichols is a snarky menace.
The man has been a blight on Cooper Ellis’s life ever since high school. Not only did Logan steal Coop’s high school girlfriend, but he’s made it his mission to annoy him. Glitter pranks to his leather shop, swooping in on potential hookups, and showing up at family dinners like he belongs there—he’s nothing but trouble. And Coop can’t seem to avoid the aggravating and stupidly attractive guy.
Cooper Ellis is an overbearing jerk.
Yes, he’s hot. Yes, he’s pretty much been Logan’s main crush since he was in high school. But for some reason, the guy hates his guts, so Logan decided a long while back to just douse everything in kerosene and watch it burn. Not like it matters when the rest of the Ellis family loves him, especially his boss at the bookstore, Grandpa Ellis.
Except when Gramps breaks his leg and needs to take time off, guess who steps in to help out at the shop?
And guess who Logan can’t resist taunting until all that fire turns into an inferno neither of them stand a chance at putting out…
Six couples, six low-angst romances, six reasons to fall in love… All the Wrong Pages is the fourth book in the multi-author series. Each book is stand-alone, but if you enjoy swoon-worthy romance set in a small town, then stay a while. You’ll fall in love with the men of Collier’s Creek.
Katherine McIntyre is a feisty chick with a big attitude despite her short stature. She writes stories featuring snarky women, ragtag crews, and men with bad attitudes—high chance for a passionate speech thrown into the mix. As a genderqueer geek who’s always stepped to her own beat, she’s made it her mission to write stories that represent the broad spectrum of people out there. Easily distracted by cats and sugar.
This is a book about 2 MC’s who are secretly attracted to each other. Logan pranks (or in my mind, harasses) Cooper which makes Coop believe Logan hates him. Finally Coop finds out Logan really likes him and his pranks were his way of flirting. Once they are together things really heat up. It does turn into a bit of a kinky sex fest but they are very sweet together.
What I especially liked is once they opened up to each other about problems they were having individually, they were there for each other to find ways to solve them.
[I received a digital arc for an honest review} All the Wrong Pages by Katherine McIntyre is a standalone in the multi author shared series Collier's Creek . Logan has been crushing on Cooper since they were in high school. It's also been since then that he's constantly pranked and ruffled his feathers just to get a reaction from him. In Logan's eyes any attention from Cooper is better than none. When Cooper isn't aggravated with Logan he's lusting after him, and he seems to be the only one in town who hasn't clued on to Logan's crush in the past decade. When he overhears Logan talk about his feelings he decides to jump in with both feet. If you’re in, let’s see where this takes us.” “You want to explore?” Logan’s eyes flickered with the palest hope. “Truth?” I said, brushing my thumb under his chin again. “I want to devour you whole.”
Logan and Cooper are both quality characters. Cooper is your grumpy serious MC who shoulders a ton of responsibilities. Logan is your sunshine MC who lets be honest was a bit immature in his handling of his feelings towards Cooper. No surprise, my favorite part of this was the intimacy. Our two small town leads get kinky behind closed door or in the book stacks of the bookstore or outside against their families house lol Logan enjoyed impact play and bondage and Cooper is fully onboard . Cooper is also deliciously dominant in the bedroom and possessive out of it. “Fuck, that mouth. So goddamn sexy,” Coop said, his lips curling into a smirk. My heart all about stopped. “Is this the way to get you to shut the hell up, beautiful?”
Overall, All The Wrong Pages by Katherine McIntyre is an enjoyable low drama small town romance between frenemies. With a bi MC, family, high steam, kinky, leather, bookstore kisses and date nights.
Other Favorite Quotes:
I’d imagined Cooper Ellis’s lips on mine a million times over the past decade. Nothing compared to the reality.
“Who knew,” Cooper said, his husky voice my undoing. “You mouth off to me any chance you get, but you take my cock like a good boy.”
I wanted his attention on me all the time— those blushes, the moans, the little slips of vulnerability I’d been able to coax out of him.
The idea of his pretty cheeks all red from a paddling, getting to feel the satisfying thwack of the leather with each strike— fucking headrush.
“Spread out for me like a pretty slut,” he murmured, running his palms along my thighs. “You look so fucking hot.”
This man knew how to strip me down and build me anew in one sweep, and I was so addicted I never wanted this to end.
Cooper Ellis hates Logan Nichols and that’s a fact. Logan for his part pranks Cooper where he can, and there are many options. It’s driving Cooper nuts.
Their lives are connected, Logan runs Cooper’s Gramps bookshop ‘Ellis Books’. Logan is like an adopted grandson, present at every family gathering. Another reason that drives Cooper nuts.
When Gramps breaks his leg Cooper is the one who jumps in to help with the bookstore. His own leatherwork business isn’t doing well at the moment, not that he’ll ever tell the family!
What has to be done has to be done, even if they can’t stand each other. Cooper doesn’t know Logan had a crush on him for ages, and the pranks are just cover-ups.
One unintentional eavesdrop changed everything, everything!!
Dang, when Cooper finally gave in, he was dominant, smoldering, focused, possessive, and everything Logan yearned for.
An awesome story, with no excessive drama, besides some family business matters, the story is very focused on Logan and Cooper, and I loved that so much! Sweet Logan has some insecurities and they are palpable, Cooper for his part is steady and strong, he doesn’t play around! Overall a solidly, engagingly written, low-angst, romantic story, very attractive and enjoyable. I read it in one sit!
A fun low angst enemies to lovers books set in a small town. This is a multiple author series but all books can be read as stand alone.
Cooper and Logan have been enemies since high school but it’s pretty obvious it’s just a whole lot of UST. When. They give in sparks fly and we get a really sweet but kinky romance.
3.5/5 So the beginning of this book just hit me wrong. I got that I was supposed to find Logan’s pranks like playground pigtail pulling, but first of all, he’s nearly thirty not a kid anymore. Second, this isn’t reciprocal pranks, this is one person relentlessly pranking and snarking the other person. And given that the first “prank” we witness is a “Honk if you love d!ck!” banner put up at a bi person’s place of business in a small town…. This felt a lot more like harassment than a simple prank to me. (I’ve read a couple of the other books in this series, and they implied that Collier’s Creek was better than it had been for acceptance but still a small town and not great. This book seems to show more acceptance than that, but I didn’t know that going in.)
The subsequent snark that we witness between them is Logan making a long-running “joke” about Coop, the tradesman, not reading and not knowing technology. (When in fact he does read for fun and uses similar tech in his own business.) Really? We’ve established that these two are not friends. This is therefore not friendly banter, and it just seems like rude, hurtful stereotyping. Logan then crashes a date that Coop is on just because he can.
We know from Logan’s POV that he really likes the way Coop looks when he’s angry. So … as an adult, he’s been spending a decade deliberately repeatedly upsetting someone he likes because he wants to see the physical reaction. I couldn’t like or empathise with this. I liked Coop. I liked Logan if he wasn’t interacting with Coop. I liked most of the side characters. But I found this rough going.
At the 40% mark, Coop finds out that Logan actually fancies him, and he realises that all this snarking has been either to get his attention or a defense mechanism. At this point, they start spending actual time together. The banter becomes mutual. They start to open up to one another in all sorts of ways—including a refreshingly explicitly consensual exploration of kink. I like how committed Coop is, how Logan feels like everything is better than he ever imagined. The solution for Coop’s shop was hilarious and awesome. I enjoyed how well things went once they’re actually figuring things out together, and the last half of the book went a long way to easing the early discomfort for me, but I would have been more comfortable with different interactions in the beginning.
I received an ARC from GRR. This is my honest review.

All The Wrong Pages by Katherine McIntyre; 2.5 star
I have read books by Katherine before, and I honestly don't know why I just could not get into this book. The characters didn't have a backstory or depth to them, they just felt superficial to me. And when Coop overheard Logan saying how he has a crush on him, and all of a sudden he knew he wanted to be with Logan.. it just felt too rushed to me. I was left wondering what I missed, it just felt too rushed and clunky.
I do believe it's just a personal preference, I do think that other readers will really enjoy this book, along with the characters. For me, I just couldn't get into it.
How can any writer think that 33% of the book being devoted to unrelenting teasing and pranks is anything less than torture and bullying? And the victim's family thought this was all fun and games as well as the bully. I don't care if they become the greatest couple in the history of M/M Romance. bullying is bullying and should have huge trigger warnings. This is the type of stuff that can turn into really bad national news.
Logan had the emotional intelligence of a child. Because why otherwise bully the man you apparently like? And it was bullying because it was one-sided.
But don’t worry, it works out because both are horndogs. I just couldn’t deal with that whole dynamic anymore after they first hooked up.
You remember in elementary school the classic, you pick on them and that means you like them?
Well enter Logan and Cooper, grown men, who are still using this tactic. Logan has had a massive crush on Coop since High School and Cooper is oblivious and thinks that Logan is just trying ruin his life. He’s constantly pulling pranks, swooping in on potential hookups and showing up at at family dinners.
When Grandpa Ellis gets laid up and can’t work at the bookstore Cooper steps up to cover his shifts putting these two in each others orbit on a regular basis. The whole town of Collier’s Creek knows about Logan’s crush on Coop, when is he going to figure it out?
This is the fourth book in the Collier’s Creek series, they can all be read as stand alone, HEA guaranteed with this one. I received this from Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest review.
What’s more fun than pissing off the guy you have had a crush on for years?! In Logan’s eyes nothing is more fun. He has been annoying the living daylights out of Cooper since high school. And while the entire town has already figured out his infatuation with Cooper, Cooper himself has absolutely no idea.
This was such a fun read, enemies-to-lovers is my kryptonite! Diving into the story with Logan pranking Cooper yet again set the mood and pace for the book straight away. Cooper going from completely oblivious to realizing he has feelings for the one guy he hates the most was adorable.
Logan, even with him having a crush for years, still felt insecure about his place in town and within the family. So, for him to get everything he has wanted after years of pinning was so sweet.
A low angst, small town romance with pranks, intrusive family members and a bookstore I would want to browse for days. What more can you want!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I'm amazed I read this story all the way through. I was at chapter six when I wanted to throw the towel in and just put a DNF in the subject line. The story reminded me of a teenager writing it. One of the main characters, even though he's approaching thirty years old, is still pulling teenage pranks. The subject of the pranks is the guy he has been crushing on for a decade or more, to get his attention. The story took its time getting to the meat of the subject. This story should've been done in ten chapters.
All The Wrong pages is a great addition to the Collier's Creek series with a seemingly enemies to lovers story line but I think it's more a boy pulling on his crushes pigtails kind of thing. Logan has been very attracted to Cooper for a long time but Coop took a strong disliking to him after a misunderstanding in high school. That was a mere fifteen years ago and now Logan lives to antagonise Cooper as it's fun for him whilst he also finds the man hotter as he gets madder. It doesn't help Cooper that Logan has basically been brought into the family fold after working in his grandfather's bookshop for so long. I found these two fun to read, if Logan did go slightly too far on occasion when it seemed Cooper may actually explode. The family and pretty much all of the town know about the crush and watch on with amusement. The moment Cooper finds out about it, I did find that a bit of a swift direction change. It felt a little like there was a missing chapter where Coop thought about it, looked back on their history or even off loaded to his best friend but he just goes straight for it. I really enjoyed both halves of the story, there's a connection between them regardless of the discovery and that teasing is just taken in a more lighthearted way. You can see that Logan was trying to get his attention whilst protecting his own heart. He also doesn't want to lose the affection of the huge Ellis clan that has come to mean so much to him. It's a sweet, low angst romance that also has a side element of a struggling business and Logan needing to find a way to bring in more income. There are some entertaining side characters that I am looking forward to meeting in the other books in the series. I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.
ALL THE WRONG PAGES is part of the multi-author series that doesn't have to be read in order, but you may stumble upon a previous couple.
In this one, we have Logan and Cooper. Logan has had a crush on Cooper for years (read decade!) and everyone in town knows about it... except Cooper. He's too busy trying to run a shop that isn't doing too well, plus shoulders all the responsibilities he feels he has to as the eldest. Logan has been playing tricks on Coop for years, which infuriates Cooper. It doesn't stop Cooper from being attracted to Logan though, but he'll never make a move because he doesn't think it's reciprocated. When he finds out it is, nothing holds him back!
Oh, man! I did love this one. Cooper was hot as hell, with a wide streak of possessiveness and domination, which made it a delight to read. He was the perfect foil for Logan, a bit of a brat if ever there was one, but who also had a heart of gold and wanted to help everyone. Once these two go for it, location no longer makes any difference! These two work together to make it work between them, and also help with other problems too. I loved that!
I've read others in this series and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. This one, however, is currently in the number-one spot for me. Two brilliant characters plus one great location equals a book I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ** same worded review will appear elsewhere **
* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book; the comments here are my honest opinion. * Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books! Oct 10, 2023
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.
This is book 4 of 6 in the Collier Creek multi author series; you don't need to read the other books first. But you NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED to read them, OK?? Cos all these books, and I have 2 more to read, have been awesome!
Logan and Cooper have been butting heads ever since high school when Logan stole Cooper's date for prom. Logan has crushed on Coop for as long, and it's become second nature. But then Cooper was made to see, really SEE why Logan is driving him nuts, and an overheard conversation crosses the T's and dots the I's. And then?? Logan is his, but will Logan let Coop in??
What I loved the most about this, was the dawning realisation that Coop had. It sort of crept up on him, till it hit him upside the head and then he ran with it. It was like a light bulb went off in his head and once he made the connection between Logan's behaviour and Logan's feelings?? Holy Moly!!
I loved the chemistry between these two. Hawt off the page, once they make the move. Loved that Coop never realised how perfect for him Logan was, before he got his hands and mouth on him. LOVED the smexy times!!
Again, super low angst. Most of the drama is before they get together, and that which comes after is not relationship based, but job based. But loved how both their work issues were solved in one fell swoop! It does lead nicely into a new series from McIntyre, too.
I can't fault this, really I can't. I just wish I could give them all more stars!
This was fkin’ BRILLIANT. I cannot make my brain accept that this is in the same series I couldn’t understand why I hadn’t stopped reading yet. This is the kind of stuff I live for—these little hidden gems I have to suffer to find.
Were there issues? Yes. Good editing would make this a perfect ten. And not interchangeably using ‘truck’ and ‘car’… I really need folx to stop doing that. Homie drove a Tacoma, he was not riding around in a Camry.
Truck. Not car. Please. Thank you.
Other than that, and a minor inconsistency in the timeline here and there, this book was absolutely fantastic. The story was interesting, the characters were awesome, the build and detail were on point, the spice was 🥵🤤 and will be going in my all-time favourite category (The Mouth on that Man,) and the pacing was perfection.
Their relationship made sense. The story made sense. While there were issues with the mechanics, it was easy to read, and it gave a much clearer picture of the town and the people in it, which after three books, makes a lot of things finally make sense. All of the sense. It’s about time.
The vibe was N O T off. It was very, very on.
Cooper and Logan were so good together. And the little nod to kink was done well. The way Cooper’s mouth ran… Jeffy Spaghetti. He didn’t even say that much, it was just his energy, y’all. Dang. 🫠😮💨
4.5/5. Still not sure I’m reading the same series I started out on, but I’ll take it. I’ll for sure be checking out more of this author’s work. I’m actually extremely excited to go on another binge.
Oh my, was this book ever hot and sexy with a nice side of kink. The blurb is really great so I’m not going to rehash it. The chemistry between Logan and Cooper was pretty palpable even when Cooper didn’t realize that Logan had it bad for him. The snarky dialogue that Logan aims at Cooper was so much fun to read.
Once Cooper finally understands that Logan is doing all of the annoying things to him to try and get Cooper to notice him, he can’t believe he was so unaware for so long. When things really start to heat up between them Cooper feels like an idiot for all of the wasted years that they could have spent together.
I loved how Logan gave Cooper a solution to his business problems and I love how Cooper was also able to help Logan achieve what he really wanted. There were some truly funny scenes where Cooper and Logan allowed their lust to get the better of them in places they probably shouldn’t have. 😊
Cooper’s best friend Kai was an interesting side character who Katherine says we’re going to hear more from in a future book from her. I’m looking forward to reading it.
The Collier’s Creek books can be read in any order and you won’t feel like you’ve missed anything but they are all so much fun you might want to read every one of them.
An advanced copy of this book was provided to me at my request; my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.
I dislked Logan from the start because I can't abide 'I annoy you because I like you' stories. It is just immature and unbelievable, and Logan's first 'prank' in this book was truly unfunny. I've read the previous three books and his prank would not have gone down well with many of the small town Collier's Creek inhabitants. It didn't really gel with what I'd already learned about the town, and Cooper was a really good man, nothing like the arrogant, insufferable arse that Logan made him out to be. Once Cooper's eyes were opened to Logan's real sentiments towards him, the book became much better, and Logan started to grow on me. They both loved their jobs and genuinely wanted to help people, and each helped the other achieve their dreams. Not to mention that they were insanely hot together, right from the first moment Cooper stalked into the bookshop, locked the door, and took charge. The other characters in the book were fun, with Gramps making me smile and Penny was sweet. Cooper's siblings were such a bunch of fruitcakes, so unlike their responsible and hard-working brother (who was worth five stars all on his own). Cooper's best friend, Kai, will be getting his own book at some point and I look forward to that, not least because I particularly want to know if he's learned that a locked door means something!
When I began reading this story it brought to mind stories of young kids where one is trying to get the attention of the other in a way that annoys the object of their affection. Logan likes Cooper and Cooper finds him annoying as Logan tends to prank him to try to get his attention. Logan does not think that Cooper is interested in him at all. Cooper is attracted to Logan, which annoys him as well. But they have a historical misunderstanding that has left Cooper resisting Logan and Logan feeling hopeless that they will ever get it together. They are both caring guys and they both care about Cooper's Gramps who Logan works with at the bookstore. When Gramps gets hurt and Cooper volunteers to fill in at the bookstore they finally have a chance to spend some time together and they are finally able to start moving past the misunderstandings to a real relationship that winds up being good for both of them. They both needed to learn that the impressions they have held about one another have not been accurate and it turns out that when they give one another a chance they are supportive of one another personally and professionally. This one made me smile a lot. I received an ARC from GRR and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Another good addition to the Collier’s Creek multi author series. This time Logan gets his story and his love interest is Cooper, the guy he has been at odds with since school days and has continued to be a right pain in his a** ever since.
I wasn’t sure at the start of the book whether I liked Cooper and his infantile pranks on Logan, who is a quiet, kind, sensible person, who his family all rely on, but when we find out the reason behind his behaviour I can sort of forgive him.
But when Logan overheard Cooper talking to his best friend Penny the “penny” finally drops and when Logan marches over to the book shop, locks the door and pins a startled Cooper against a bookshelf, wow, the book kicks up a notch!
These two make a really good couple and the chemistry is hot. Cooper has hidden talents and a business degree that helped turn Logan’s Gramps bookshop around, I loved Gramps, and when he finds out that Logan’s leatherwork business, a craft which was handed down through his family, is failing he comes up with a brilliant idea to turn Logan’s talent in a new direction and it’s genius.
Collier’s Creek is full of hot men and lovable characters, each with a story to tell, and it’s a series I recommend.
I decided to take a return trip to Collier’s Creek and read All the Wrong Pages. I’ve enjoyed other books in this delightful, small town series, and this book is no exception. Cooper is the kind of MC you’ll immediately fall for: quiet, kind, a little too serious. Logan took me a little longer to fall for - I’m not a big fan of pranks and thought he took things too far at times. But he does redeem himself, so we’re good. 😃 Cooper is struggling with the family leather business and Logan works in Cooper’s granddad’s bookstore. When his Gramps breaks his leg, they work together to keep the store going, finding out some surprising things about each other along the way. This is an enemies-to-lovers story where they’re both been secretly pining for each other. When Cooper realizes the truth, what follows is a truly memorable first kiss! Holy hell are these two hot! Don’t let the sweet cover fool you - there may be spanking and harnesses. And sexy times between the stacks in a book store? Yes please! I loved how fun-sized Logan was was a bit kinky and Cooper liked dirty talk and dominating his man. “I want to devour you whole.” Oh my. This is a sweet, spicy, and often hilarious read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
These two had an attraction in high school but an event caused them to become enemies. As the years have passed both are living in the same small town they grew up in. They have this getting to picking on Cooper thing going on in plain sight for the whole town to watch. Logan has had a crush on Cooper the whole time and is busy doing irritating things to keep Cooper’s attention. A lot of the side characters are aware of what Cooper doesn’t get. Cooper really isn’t getting it. He just is past irritated with Logan’s little stunts and wishes Logan would disappear. When Cooper’s grandfather has an accident, Cooper steps up to help work at his grandfather’s bookstore until his grandfather can get back to work. There is only one major problem, Logan works at the bookstore. Matter of fact, Logan has saved the bookstore from closing due to lack of business so these two will be forced to get along. There are many side issues and events that keep the fun in this change of attitude between them story. Many events really funny that keep interrupting them from doing anything. I really enjoyed these characters and the little town story.
I was excited to read this book since it was hinted that the characters were high school enemies in the previous books and also by the author, enemies-to-lovers is my favourite trope and I enjoyed this book so much. This was my first book by the author and I am already looking forward to checking out the other books.
Logan & Cooper had been enemies since they were in high school because Cooper thought he had stolen his girlfriend but the truth was very different. Logan always did childish pranks with Cooper so he could keep his attention on him because Logan had a huge crush on Cooper. But once Cooper got to know the real reasons behind the pranks, things got heated between them.
Logan & Cooper had amazing chemistry, the sparks between them were so strong and I loved to read every second of this book. The other interesting part was the kink play between the characters, Logan loved the pain so there was spanking & some bondage kink played and damn it was so sexy and their chemistry in the bedroom was so incredible. I loved how welcomed Logan was in the Ellis clan and loved his relationship with them.
Overall I enjoyed this book and I recommend you check this out.
Logan has liked Cooper since high school, but since he doesn’t see Logan’s crush, he has to needle him every chance he gets.
Cooper is fed up with Logan’s annoying ways, but the rest of his family treat Logan as one of their own. He does think he’s cute though, so when he overhears Logan telling his friend Penny about his feelings, Copper finally connects the dots and comes to the right conclusion.
Once he and Logan start seeing each other, neither of them can get enough. For Logan, all his wishes are coming true, but he worries about finances and having to leave the job he loves, working with Coop’s grandpa.
The two help each other, as Logan is also having business problems, and they both find new ventures to keep them going.
I enjoyed this book, but kink wasn’t mentioned in the description. It was fine in the book, but I would have preferred to know what to expect. Otherwise, a good story in this series.
I received this ARC for free and am providing my honest review as a thank you.
Cooper is steady and caring, always looking out for everyone. But he’s got one Achilles heel. Logan. A bratty, snarky, mischief-maker who lives to drive Cooper crazy. Since high school, they’ve been playing this game. And the rest of the town finds great joy in teasing Cooper that it means Logan like-likes him.
But oh my gosh, one overheard conversation and phew…let’s just say sparks fly and we are all left swooning in the aftermath.
The first kiss had me weak in the knees!
Once the switch has been flipped there is no stopping what they can accomplish or how big their love can be.
Honestly, this is all parts sweet, steamy and swoony! Pure small-town goodness with a little hint of delicious kink. Loved it!
These two characters were so remarkably adorable to be so blind to each others crushes for the last fifteen years or so!
Everybody in Colliers Creek could see it except them and Logan’s best friend Penny…
When the blinders finally fell off it was all bets are off regarding these two- Logan brought out the dominant, possessive side out of Cooper- the type of guy that ticked all of Logan’s boxes…
Cooper saw a different side to Logan- a sweet, intelligent sexy man who used snark to deflect…
“I’d been searching for chemistry like this for a long, long while. I’d just never expected to find it right underneath my nose.”
Their foreplay was fifteen long frustrating years filled with snark and banter but boy did they make up for it!
“You want to explore?”
“Truth?” I said, brushing my thumb under his chin again. “I want to devour you whole.”
The only fly in the ointment is Logan’s finances that could lead to him leaving Colliers Creek…and Cooper…
I voluntarily received an ARC from GRR for my honest opinion on this book.
All the Wrong Pages by Katherine McIntyre is a fast-paced read. I really liked the lighthearted fun this book has. Of course with a mischievous MC that makes it even more fun. This story is told in dual POV which really helps get inside to what the characters are thinking. Cooper: considered Logan a pain in his bum. He was always pranking him. He owns Ellis Leather working. He helps out his family when he can. He loves his family and is proud to be a part of their legacy. Logan: He has loved Cooper since he was 16. He also cares deeply about Cooper’s family and will do anything he can for them. He works for Cooper’s grandpa in the bookstore he owns. These two have what the other needs to be completed. Cooper needs some fun in his life and Logan can use some of the drive that Cooper brings to the table. I love a frenemies-to-lovers story and this is a great one. Highly recommend it to a romantic at heart.
This book was witty, clever, and super sweet. Logan and Cooper have a past... no, not that kind. It was more of an enemies to lovers past... only, it really wasn't. Logan, going old school, liked to get Coopers attention by getting under his skin (not in the sexual way). Cooper, not liking the negative attention, kept Logan at arms length, even if he thought Logan was hot as sin. In a small town, nothing gets past the townfolks, and it seems Cooper is one of a few who don't know about Logan's intentions.
Of course, nothing is perfect, even in small towns. When money is an issue, both Logan and Cooper have to figure out where they land when tough choices have to be made. Have to also mention Cooper's crazy family and both Logan and Cooper's friends. Have to adore them all!
Loved this story! I look forward to reading Kai's story in the future.
I received a copy of this book from GRR and this is my honest review.
