It took me way longer than I thought to finish. It started out okay and I was pretty into it when all the drama went down, but there was something about the ending parts that bugged me a lot and so that's keeping me from giving it a high rating.
I don't usually read Lesbian stories so this was a new experience for me, but that's not really the problem. It was how a lot of things remained unanswered and vague and how this whole thing with the spirits needed more unravelling for me. Some backstory perhaps with Rhea (like a little bit more). The ending was so anticlimactic. I refuse to believe that that is how it really ended. There was no resolution and instead of fixed problems, they were still swimming inside it and never really got out.
It was pretty painful to read till the end. The only drive I had was the wonder of whether they're problems would be solved, which ultimately they didn't. That's a lot of frustrating reading for me.
Over all, a book with potential that ended in a very frustrating note.
