There’s an inner strength buried somewhere inside of you, Lizzie. When you find it, it will change your life forever. I wish with all my heart that I was going to be here to see it, but of course here lies the irony: it’s only when I’ve gone that you’ll discover it.

Well, thank the lord that Lizzy ran away from her wedding to the most boring person in the world, Chris. She found a letter left to her by her mom who passed away just about one year. Why is Chris making her get married so soon? I think he wants to get a ring on her because he knew she would never marry him if she is aware of what is going on.

So her mother's letter woke her up from the nightmare she is about to walk into and jumped into this old car left to her by her mother. I didn't realize there were a couple angel trying to arrange for her to meet the man of her life, I was kind confused why the book flips to couple people whispering about someone. Once I caught on, it was a very interesting premise.

I want to say the old man that her mother wants her to see is really her grandfather. But why not say it out in the story, I don't know.

overall, pretty good to read, now I want a dog like goat for pet! haha

if i could i’d give 2.5 but just got super boring during the end, and feel like there’s a significant plot hole between Tom and Lizzie and why it was supposed to be their destiny to meet- especially near the last 5 or so chapters that seemed to focus on everyone else
