A secret relationship with three professional hockey players who aren’t exactly great at sharing the same woman is a difficult thing to balance…

Ash and Soren are about to leave for Seattle and the four of us need sometime to connect. They surprise me with a lake house rental where we can drink wine, have lots of steamy nights and fall even more in love with each other.

When they leave, our foursome is torn apart and Ryder and I are just not the same. But when we start to spend more and more time together, we realize just how much we are falling for one another.

Keeping this why choose relationship a secret has been a challenge, and I’m tested when my friend Corey finds out that I am finally seeing someone.

Given that I’m the team’s psychologist, no one can ever know that I’m dating three pro hockey players at once and we’re in love…but all of that is about to change.

What happens when we get close to being exposed? What happens when our love is tested?

This is an extra steamy why choose hockey romance with no cheating!

Harlow is awful…Soren is a walking red flag…and Ash is so toxic. How is Ryder the only somewhat not toxic one?

I thought the writing and plot would get better but it gets more and more cringy.

At this point, I’m only reading to find out the ending.

Puck Me is the 3rd book in this Hockey series by Charlotte Byrd.
The story of Harlow and her 3 hockey boys continues to steam up the pages.
But in this story their foursome is tested to the limits, they are split up for the first time.
Harlow and Ryder will be without Ash and Soren for 2 weeks while they go to play for The Seattle Hawks who play in the big league, Yes The NHL.
Its Ash ,Soren and Ryders's dream to play for the NHL and the opportunity is something Ash and Soren can't miss.Unfortunately Ryder is not chosen and stays behind with Harlow.
Their four person relationship had been going well, but now they have to resist temptation to break the rules they all agreed to.
They are all together at once or not at all,and they do not engage with other people sexually while in this relationship.
But cracks are begining to show..Ash is homesick missing Harlow ...Soren is tempted by the Puck bunnies and life style of being a player for the NHL..Ryder is jealous and suspicious..They all seem hell bent on destroying their careers as more and more catasrophe's take place.
Keeping their relationship secret is becoming hard as there is animosity between Ash,Soren and Ryder.
Harlow feels like she is going crazy and needs to help process everything and so tells her secret to her friend...Will this be a fatal mistake.?
Her job as the Teams Therapist may be in Jeopardy and when things begin to implode will they be able to stay together.
This was a fantastic read I am so eager for the last book to see how this unconvential, hot and sexy relationship turn out.
Charlotte Byrds words kept me entertained through-out and that cliff hanger OMG What will Harlow do ?
I have to say I am really enjoying this story,I never thought I would have, but Charotte writes it in a way you are able to see all the characters points of View.
I do love these characters and as a reader even I can't choose a between Ash,Soren and Ryder so I don't blame Harlow for wanting all 3.
The thing I liked about Ash,Soren and Ryder is that even though they may feel competative with eachother and even fight at times. When push comes to shove they are there for one another no matter what..this becomes prominent when a tragedy happens.
This is a great story super steamy and very intriguing and addictive.
I cannot wait for the conclusion.
Brilliant.

1st reading: Decently well written, apart from some odd punctuation errors. Basic plot and some character growth among the four main characters. One major continuity error where the name "Sawyer" is used instead of "Soren."
This is the part in the overall plot where the characters encounter conflict due to time apart and distrust and jealousy getting in the way. The four of them find different ways of dealing with the crisis, none of them productive, and one of them, Ash, ends up seriously injured during a game. This, however, acts as the catalyst to get them back together (for good or ill). We're also introduced to Ryder's foster brother and his new role of father figure to a seventeen-year-old. (Like, where did that come from?)
Again, I find little endearing about any of these characters. The men are childish and Harlow is irresponsible and unethical.
One scene between Harlow and Corey raises a red flag about the future of the relationship when Corey, at first sympathetic and seemingly excited about Harlow's relationship with Ryder, reacts poorly when she learns that Harlow's also involved with Ash and Soren. And sure enough, at the end of the book, the cliffhanger finds Coach confronting Harlow about the relationship. I'm betting Corey said something.
As little as I like these characters, I have to finish this out with the fourth book. Looking forward to seeing the end of this so I can find a different series to read.

When Ash and Soren get to play in the big league, the 4 of them make a pact that they all stay faithful to each other and celibate until they are all together again. Ryder took it hard that he didn't get a chance in the big league but at least he could talk to Harlow even though they had to behave as well. Soren seems to think he is going to do what he wants and with whom and he and Ash get into a fist fight at a club after a game. He sneaks a flight home just to see Harlow but doesn't say what happened. Will he and Soren be sent back? Meanwhile even though Ryder is still 'at home', he misses Harlow's company and what they had as well. How is this going to work out? They have not been apart that long and it is a huge struggle. Things reach a boiling point and Harlow reluctantly pulls the plug on the relationship. Time goes on and no one is happy. Ash and Soren are back for a while. Things really get bad during a game when a goon from the opposing team uses his stick to trip Ash into the boards! He is seriously injured. What is going to happen next? Will this bring the four of them closer? The cliffhanger has me holding my breath. Will their love for each other survive discovery? Susan C.

This is book three in The Raptors Hockey Why Choose Series and it continues Harlow’s story. The more time that Harlow, Ash, Soren and Ryder spend together the stronger the feelings grow but keeping the relationship a secret is now taking it’s toll on them all but when Harlow’s friend Corey finds out that she is seeing someone then everything gets even more intense and complicated. When Ash and Soren leave and Harlow and Ryder are on there own the connection and feelings start to get even stronger regardless of the rules that have been put in place and with Harlow being the team psychologist everything including careers are in jeopardy. This book takes you on a wild ride along with plenty of ups and downs and twists and turns that will make this book addictive and unable to put down and then you get another cliffhanger ending making it that you need the next book now to see what else they will have to go through. Absolutely love this book and series so much because it will not only have you on the edge of your seat but also turning the pages and I read it in one sitting and definitely recommend this series.

Harlow continues to feel guilty, confused and unethical in her three way relationship with Ash, Soren and Ryder. Being the team physiologist, she’s breaking all the ethical rules and jeopardizing her career if this gets out.
Now, Ash and Soren are chosen to play professionally out of state for a while and this affects their four way relationship. Being away from her has changed their priorities, hockey is not their primary concern but Harlow is. Rules and boundaries continue to be pushed, as the guys jealousy and possessiveness increase amongst themselves to the point of publicly fighting, causes Harlow pain and suffering. Even though she’s fallen in love with all three, she decides she needs to do something before everything explodes and ends their relationship. Everything goes downhill from that moment on and the guys don’t recover or react well to the breakup. Harlow is also confronted with her worst fear when she finds Coach Kodak sitting in her office and says the four magic words « what have you done ? ». This is a very captivating, compelling addictive and enthralling reading. I’m sooooo looking forward to reading the next instalment Puck It !

Insanely I’m still curious to see this series through, mainly due to word of mouth, trying to figure out what my fellow readers see in this story. And I’m just not getting it, the first 70% could be consolidated into about 30 pages and been better for it. Last 25% gives a little hope for the final book.

Harlow still needs a good swift kick in the ass.
They finally get together and immediately poof they’re separated by Soren & Ash getting called up to Seattle.

IMO the concept of thinking a relationship can lack individual connections is just ridiculous.

The 1st time there’s a little tension between the guys, she arbitrarily cuts off the relationship, no discussion, no attempt to address the the issue in any way, then expects them blink and start over clean slate like nothing happened- we’re just going to all be friends. And totally doesn’t consider any repercussions. How is this remotely considered well written, it’s NOT unless your goal is to make a completely unlikable FMC

If not for my many other issues with this series, I probably wouldn’t notice this much but the time jumps are just random.

This book is a 3.5 star book. At most. I rounded up to a 4 star because I did fly through this book. And it deserves more than a 3 star.

This book didn’t quite hit its mark for me. I’ve been following the series. And while it’s well written it didn’t pull me in like the other two. It seems to be more of a filler. A whole lot of nothing happens. And then boom. It’s the end. But nothing is resolved and we are left with the blurb for the next book that throws a wrench into everything. And a huge cliffhanger. Similar to that of the last book.

I thought this was the final book in the series. So I was expecting some sort of wrap up. But honestly until we get the conclusion to the story I’m not sure where this book falls into things. It has some relationship building. But everything still felt really underdeveloped for where we are in the series.

I will definitely be continuing the series. If only to see where it’s leading.

I received an ARC of this for free. I am voluntarily leaving this review.

I love this book but I couldn’t give it 5/5 because…*SPOILERS*

It says there’s no cheating and TECHNICALLY that’s true. However…when Soren and Ash are in Seattle they go to a club with the team and Soren dances with a girl, letting her grind up on her. Then he gets super close to her. Ash breaks in and nothing happens and Soren brushes it off that flirting is no big deal. Not cheating, but not ok.

Later, Harlow breaks up with the guys (although none of them want it) and while apart, Soren starts sleeping with other women. And the first one discussed he claims he doesn’t even REALLY want to…but then does. Later he tells Harlow all the women he’s been with didn’t mean anything, they were just to get over her. WTF?! And Harlow didn’t react?!

ALSO…when they’re all finally get back together, Harlow should’ve insisted Soren use a condom and prove he’s been tested. I feel like Harlow’s reaction was totally unrealistic and then later, unsafe.

This is book three in this series, and they just get better with each book. This one has so much going on you don't want to put it down, it's a total rollercoaster and what a way to end it, I need the next book as soon as possible.

There is so much drama, intense feelings, sadness and happiness in this book, Harlow is still seeing Ash, Soren and Ryder knowing that two of them are going away for a while so they won't be able to see each other and the rules say all four of them have to be there, so before they go they spend a weekend in a cabin just to have time for themselves.

With Ash and Soren gone, Harlow and Ryder get closer but still follow the rules and frustration sets in, then when they return jealousy sets in and the men start to fight amongst themselves, so what can Harlow do about it?

This series is a must-read, I have loved every book so far.

This is the continuing story of Harlow, Ash, Soren and Ryder.

Harlow, the team’s psychologist, with Ryder, Ash and Soren, hockey players, are taking some time together in a cabin on lake away from everyone. After this Ash and Soren will be playing for the Orcas in Seattle for an undetermined amount of time. What will happen to the foursome’s relationship? It’s all four together or nothing. Can it last like that with Ryder alone with Harlow and Ash and Soren gone? This story will make you frustrated, but yet you can’t tear your eyes off the pages as you read, and then you’re left with a cliffhanger to boot. It’s a steamy and hot story.

Puck Me finds Harlow, Ryder, Soren, and Ash trying to maintain their relationship as a secret with no one finding out the truth about them. Even though rules were established, jealousy and the forced separation of Soren and Ash as they play in the NHL for a short period of time ends in fights between players and other team members. Harlow knows she will be fired from her job if the truth is found out. This addition to the series has plot twists, surprises, steamy passion, and a cliffhanger.the next book is Puck It.

Reading a series as it releases about the same relationship is always fun because you don’t always know when a series is ending. I feel that way with this series, but I’m loving the drama and the cliffhangers of each book.

They are set up so wonderfully, like how a tv show is set up episode by episode and I’m early awaiting the next installment. This book was focused on their priorities, and how their relationship impacts everyone involved. They have to work a lot of things out in this book, and I’m curious to see how the cliffhanger plays out in the next book.

This is the third book in the series and holy moly so much happened! I can’t believe all that happened in this one! I was literally so scared at one point. Then I was so happy about how things were turning out. Then boom my heart hit the floor. I need the next book now! This is such a rollercoaster, especially finding out what starts off in the next book. I screamed and cursed, so many thoughts! Can’t wait, love these character’s sooo much!

Tensions rising

Well with everything done in the dark between Harlow and her men it's only a matter of time before someone slips up. With distance and longing pulling away at this quad what will come of them? You are not ready for how this unfolds. Passion, violence, and tragedy is just the tip of the iceberg with this installment. Hold on to your seats cause it's definitely not smooth sailing. But oh so worth the read!

With every book in this why choose romance series the feelings and emotions just deeper and more complex. Honestly, I find that very refreshing and appealing, because I firmly believe the more hearts involved equals way more complications. Two things are for certain, you can't read this book/series without needing 1. A ice cold beverage and 2. Your feelings & heartstrings are going to get an intense workout.

Holy pucking emotions!! This step in the journey of Harlow, Ryder, Ash, and Soren definitely pulled at the heart, pulled at emotions that I wasn't expecting. The more time we spend with these four characters, the more I like them, the more I understand them. I love the connection they each have to each other as friends and teammates but also each connection with Harlow. It's different, each needing that for a different reason. I am absolutely on the edge of my seat and so excited to see what is to come for them!

Great Read

Ash and Soren are playing, temporarily, in the NHL and Ryder is with an off limits Harlow. Soren is testing his freedom to the dismay od Ash. Harlow feels like she is in the middle and constantly playing referee. Ryder is wanting more attention than Harlow can give. This reverse harem is getting complicated. Emotions are running high and friendships are tested. Can they make it work or will they call it quits? I cannot wait for the next book.

Harlow and her hockey players is really picking up. She calls it quits in this one and they are forced to try to co exist without their benefits. Things aren’t going well for any of them. When Ash gets hurt, I am shocked! But, his recovery leads them back to one another. Their forbidden, unethical relationship continues to be tested and how long before people start to find out? I love this taboo series and can’t wait for the next one!

This is the third book in the Palm Springs Raptors series and they keep getting more interesting. Charlotte continues with Harlow, Ash, Soren and Ryder's challenges. Things are getting more intense for Harlow, Ryder, Ash and Soren. There chemistry is amazing, but obstacles keep getting in their way. I did start to like Ash a little more in this one than in the first 2 books. Just as the 4 of them work on getting back on track a new obstacle is thrown in their way. After that cliffhanger ending I can't wait to see how they handle this new twist.

Ash and Soren go to Seattle for short time. How will it affect things for them, Ryder and Harlow? Unexpected events occur and it effects them all. Just when things seem to go right again they hit another snag only this one is big. What a way to lead up to the next book.
