The Adventures of Asva in Cappadocia is an amazing book. My niece enjoyed the first part, so I read the second part to her as well. She loved it! It's a must-read.
There are many reasons to like The Adventures of Asva in Cappadocia. The young protagonist is a regular kid who is embarking on an exciting adventure with his best friend. They are staying at a very cool hotel that looks like they are in the middle of a cave, they ride a hot air balloon, and then they get to explore a cave. The story has so much potential to pull the reader in and along, especially when danger strikes and the boys must not only rescue a younger child but find their way out of a potentially harmful situation. All is well in the end, and the drama never becomes too much. The illustrations are beautiful and the author also does an excellent job of describing the setting so that you can see and experience what this exotic locale is like. I am also a world traveler and after reading this story would love to see Cappadocia, Turkey.
I have a few caveats. The author says the book is appropriate for kids ages 6 through 10. I would lean more toward the younger age group. Kids tend to like to read characters that are older than themselves. Also, although the writing is good, it reads more like a fairytale—all narrative description. There is little to no dialogue, which would make the characters come to life more and better enhance the story.
That said, the story was still remarkably engaging, and I would recommend this story. 4 stars

This is the second travel tale of Asva and Ruslan. In the first book, Asva with his travel bloggers lands in the city of Istanbul, Turkey. After enjoying the delight of Istanbul, Asva and his family move to Cappadocia. This is a historical region listed as a Heritage Site of UNESCO. If the first book had a mystique touch, this book holds the touch of adventurous danger. What’s the danger? How will our heroes face it? Who is Karan?
Grab the book to enjoy a colorful fairy tale.
The first book taught the magic of making new friends, respecting and enjoying the varied culture, language, and tastes in the world, but above all, it taught helpfulness. In this book, the author tries to teach character of facing fear or danger and leadership qualities.

I loved the the themes of cultural appreciation hit close to home. In a diverse country like India, we're always discussing the importance of respecting different traditions. This book beautifully reinforced that message. My nephew loved reading it! We ended up having an impromptu geography lesson, tracing the ancient Silk Route from India to Turkey on our world map. It led to discussions about trade, culture, and how our cuisines might have influences from that part of the world.
The illustrations are simply stunning. I'd love to see a similar adventure book set in India.

Adventure of Asva in Capadocia is yet another adventure which turned out dangerous to our hero Asva and Ruslan. Capadocia is a beautiful place with cave stay and fairy chimneys like structure which makes this place a beautiful tourist spot. Yet again Asva and Ruslan Went exploring in the caves , but an earthquake struck the place and they both were stuck in a cave with no way out. They found another boy Kaan who was also stuck along with them. I liked the way these boys think swiftly and move rocks for them to pass through and reach their parents. A good read for kids.
Children are brilliant thinkers as well as kind hearted small humans. Asva and Ruslan again found themselves in a dangerous adventure in Capadocia. They got stuck inside a cave during a earthquake with all exits blocked. They along with another boy Kaan escaped from the cave by moving few rocks and squeezed through. They were quick thinkers and acted with courage. Their journey in the hot air balloon fascinated me to try it someday. A great book for children to read and visit those places safely.

An adventurous and captivating story book not only for children. Highlights of family and friends relationship, Traveling together, and so lively pictures, very descriptive and highly imaginative. Sharing experiences with family members and friends is important.I do recomend
Pretty good short read (for me) about a little boy going on a vacation to Cappadocia and the danger he finds himself in. The descriptions of the land are beautiful and it makes you want to go there. I know this is a children's book, but the lack of dialogue takes away any character personality, to me.
This book was so much fun to read! I loved going on the adventure with Asva and his friends. The hot air balloon ride sounded so cool, and I couldn’t stop reading when they got lost in the labyrinth. I was so worried about them, but I knew they would figure it out! The pictures were so colorful, and I kept looking at them over and over. I also learned that it’s important to be kind and to respect other people’s ways of life. I really want to go on an adventure just like Asva one day!
Asva is excited to travel with his parents again, especially since he’s always wanted to visit the caves he read about in the Narnia books. While exploring the caves, he meets his friend Ruslan. An earthquake traps them inside, but they manage to rescue themselves and a young boy named Kaan. This adventure feels like a travel guide and is sure to delight children.
