I started the Odeum series with Crossing of Eurydice. I'm now 2/3 of the way into the series, and I really appreciate the twists and turns this series is taking.
Odeum isn't very much like other vampire stories. The themes are potent, the storytelling is expertly done, and the author's voice gets stronger with every page, it seems like. Seeing such well-crafted characters, human and vampire alike, diving into a world beyond their current paradigm gives a strange sense of empathy and unity with them. And seeing all the moving parts fall into place together is a real treat to experience.
You don't have to read them in order, and you'll find a different tone with each book. They all have something for everyone, and I think you'll appreciate the different approaches as you make your way through the tale.
Excellent series, I hope this makes a huge splash in the world.
