I loved that Leo (the numbers guy) got his story. He and Nikita's story was well done with a riveting plot that kept the reader engaged from start to finish. I loved how the author took a relatively "sweet tale" and turned it into a page turner with plenty of angst, attraction, suspense, mystery and a very hot romance/love story.

When Leo and Nikita get together that stormy night they never believe they will ever see each other again. Nikita is a ballerina who at 24 is treated by her over dominating mother like she is 12. Seeing Nikita's character come into it's own once they are reunited was well done. The author didn't shy away from giving Nikita a voice and letting her keep it. Her growth in this novel was well done and Leo, our scarred prince, was the perfect character to help her maneuver tumultuous waters. Their sexual attraction for each other hinged on "submissive" but wasn't over the top.

The backdrop of the Nicolayevich Bratva infused plenty of suspense and mystery as Leo tries to find out who is stealing money from the family. It was a very enjoyable read with characters I liked from the beginning of book until the end. As with many of these novels there are plenty of twists and turns and revelations that keep the reader guessing as to the who and why.

Nikita Belova is twenty-four years old and a rising prima dona ballerina at the Bolshoi Theater. She's worried that she haven't been making any progress and remains stagnate because she has not yet made soloist, most ballerinas retires between thirty and forty years old. The theater is putting on a performance of the Nutcracker in December and the role she wanted as the Sugar Plum Fairy was given to Vanya with her as the understudy. However, someone sabotage Vanya by putting pins in her shoes and as fate would have it she now steps into soloist role. Nikita is being blame by the other dancers as the one who sabotaged Vanya. They believed that she had to resort to putting a pin in the shoes to secure her spot as the new Sugar Plum Fairy. Nikita dad Erik had gotten himself into some serious trouble with the Bratva after he was at one of their gambling den and racked up a debt that he was unable to pay. He owes them nine hundred thousand rubles and they're threatening to bust his kneecap. Because of his gambling habits his wife Inessa put him out of the house.
Erik is now trying to beg and borrow from family members to save his life. He send Nikita to her grandmother house to get all her valuables which includes family heirloom jewelry, silverware etc., so that he can pawn them to get the money. He has even stolen all his wife and and daughter jewelry. Nikita's Beetle broke down on the side of the road in terrible snow storm on her way back home to Moscow. She abandoned the vehicle and decided to walk to the next town when a stranger pull over and offers her a ride. Leo was going to his cabin to think when he saw someone walking in the storm. Leo has a long scar on his face that he got in a fight a couple years ago which people always afraid of him because of it. But Nikita wasn't afraid and accepted him something that he finds fascinating. He took her back to his cabin to buckle down and wait out the storm until morning. But the chemistry between them was magnetic and electrifying and they couldn't do anything but gravitate to each other. Leo is a dominant and he dominate her body several times throughout the night, she was the perfect submissive. Leo could not stand thinking about her days after their encounter, she had really gotten under his skin. Nikita could not stop thinking about him as well and would often smell his jacket in Or reminiscent of the night that they had.
When he dropped her off at the train station he told her maybe he would see each other again. The family considered Leo as a grinch and a grouch individual who does nothing but work all the time. His sister-in-law Charlotte invites him to The Nutcracker because she was taking all the family to it, she as even managed to get his brother Samuil, the family's brutish enforcer to go. After thinking about an idea came to him, he realized that he could ran a portion of the Bratva's profit through the taxi company and another through the theater as a sponsor. He decided to donate a million rubles every year. When the director offered to give him a tour he wanted to decline but man was he glad he didn't because the woman that he can not get off his mind was in the practice room front and center. He could hardly believe it, he never thought that he would see her again especially since he and dropped her off in a different town.
Nikita thought that she was hallucinating and had to pinch herself to clear her vision. He was even more surprised when the instructor introduced herself as Inessa Belova and Nikita as her daughter. He couldn't believe that the man who owe his family wife and daughter was standing before him and that they had slept together. Nikita mesmerize him and made him tongue tie something that as never happened before. Leo and Nikita rekindled their relationship but they're both keeping secrets from each other, him about being in the Bratva and she about carrying his baby. Nikita and Leo carry on their relationship against her mother wishes unbecoming to her that he was person that her father owes the debt to. Leo heard the name when her mother introduced herself to him at the theater he was skeptical if it was the same person but he didn't believe it could be and coincidental in all of Moscow. Nikita mom was horrible to her, her entire life and kept her on a tight leash and control her life. She was also the instructor at the theater and would always criticize her performance which caused her to develop insecurities, she could never do anything right in her eyes. Leo is her balm he calms her just by being close. They had some ups and down moments in their life but they never left each other even after the secrets came. It was a great addition to the series.

The first half caught me off guard a bit but the last half was actually really good!

Now, the writing was nice, very easy to read and follow; the storyline flowed, I’d say, relatively well throughout the book, but it was the pace of the first half that didn’t sit right with me.

It was way too fast to be able to cover all the details, that made the storyline fell flat. Everything (the details, events, backstories, characters, interactions,…) was all on the surface and I couldn’t really grasp anything, literally anything, at all. It felt just like a blur and I didn’t like it.

Thankfully, the pace of the last half was actually quite reasonable and the way things unfolded here was intriguing and interesting enough that, at least to me, saved the whole book.

Overall, this was a decent read, I enjoyed it but wish that the first half was done better/ differently. The epilogues were super sweet and cute tho, my heart melted.

Not as volatile as “Ruthless Rival” but just as passionate, the romance between Nikita Belova and Leo Nicolaevich will have readers enthralled. A chance encounter in a Moscow snowstorm finds Nikita and Leo sharing a cabin for one sexually charged night. The following day, they go their separate ways - she, to a grueling schedule as a ballerina for the Bolshoi and he, to his role as the Bratva’s accountant. As Nikita suffers under her mother’s barrage of criticism at the barre and wondering if she’ll ever make soloist, Leo is simultaneously demanding payment from her father as a result of his gambling. It is unlikely that the couple will meet again; however, fate steps in and Leo tours the ballet company after making a philanthropic donation of $1,000,000. His tour includes the practice room, where he witnesses Nikita floating through her routine. They connect again, mesmerized with each other. 💕

Readers will be delighted to be held hostage by Crowne as she woos us with Nikita and Leo’s passionate romance, while attending to the obstacles thrown their way. How will Leo tell Nikita that he works for the Bratva, and overcome his inferiority complex? What will motivate Nikita to leave home and her parents’ negative influence? Who is sabotaging the ballerina’s shoes? The author complements the novels with the most engaging, interesting characters, richly descriptive scenes and realistic dialogue. Appropriately, one of the final chapters showcases Nikita’s performance as the Sugar Plum Fairy in Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker”. The Bolshoi…Moscow…Christmas…and snow melting love ❤️‍🔥. How wonderfully Russian! How utterly romantic! And unlike many long depressing Russian novels, this one has an HEA. 🥰

So, I recently picked up this book that was supposed to be a "dark romance." I have to admit, I was expecting something really intense and edgy, but it turned out to be more on the sweet side.

First off, let's talk about the characters, Nikita and Leo. They were alright, but honestly, they felt a tad one-dimensional. The book tried to make Leo seem like this super tough guy who later reveals his sweet side, but honestly, he didn't strike me as all that tough from the beginning. Maybe the fact that it was so "insta-love" you didn't get a lot of backstory? I'm not sure.

As for the story, well, it pretty much followed the standard romance formula. You could see where things were going from a mile away. So, if you're looking for a surprise twist or something super unique, this might not be your cup of tea.

But, here's the thing. If you need a break from heavy reading or just want something that could MAYBE be considered dipping into grey and not completely dark, this book actually works pretty well. It's like a palate cleanser for your reading list. The instant love between Nikita and Leo adds a nice touch of sweetness, and it's a quick read, perfect for when you just want to unwind.

So, while it might not have been the dark and intense romance I was expecting, it's a great option if you're in the mood for a feel-good, fast-paced love story. Give it a shot if you're looking for a charming escape into the world of instant romance.

This was a great read that had me hooked right from the start and didn’t let go till right up till the very end. Nikita Belova is a Ballerina for the Bolshoi Company and hope to go solo one day but she suffers with her mother constant criticism drives her crazy and one night her car breaks down in a snowstorm but gets rescued by Leo and they spend an amazingly hot and steamy night together and go there separate ways the next morning but unbeknown to her she has taken a piece of him with her. Leo Nicolaevich is the Bratva Accountant who was on his way home when he meets Nikita on the side of the road and offers her a place for the night with the snowstorm getting worse and the instant attraction see’s them having a hot and wild night together and then it’s over but Leo hopes to see her again. Now he is demanding payment from her father for his gambling debt’s but didn’t know who he was at the time. When he makes a huge donation to the Ballet Company and is taking a tour when he watches Nikita dance and is thrilled to see her again and it isn’t long before they are dating but how will he feel about being a father and how will she feel when she learns he works for the Bratva mafia and who is trying to sabotage the billerina’s shoes and does Nikita finally leave her parents home for good. There is so much more to this book that will have you on the edge of your seat. Great read.

This is a dark and twisty romance between two people who really are a perfect match for each other. The chemistry between Leo and Nikita is white hot and combustible right from the first. He is stunned by her easy acceptance of his scar and the lack of fear she shows. A steamy night spent in each other’s arms while a storm rages outside is all they have agreed to, but Fate has other plans in store for them. As it turns out, they encounter each other again when he becomes a patron of the ballet company where she dances. Unable to resist being with each other, despite the objections of their family, their carry on an affair. Leo’s secret, his Bratva identity, comes out when she realizes that Leo is the man to whom her father owes his debt. With enemies and threats at the ballet, and now this horrifying news about the man she has given both her body and heart, Nikita doesn’t know where to turn. Her own secret lies heavily on her mind and she now knows she can no longer rely on her family.

Read this intense and utterly fascinating book to discover what happens next for Nikita and Leo. Will she and Leo find a way to build a future together? Who is targeting her and why? Will she let Leo protect her or try to stand on her own? I think readers will find this book as unputdownable as I did.

Nikita left Moscow for her maternal grandmother's to get anything of value she had so she could get her father out of trouble with the Bratra with gambling debts. On her way back her car broke down leaving her no choice but to start walking even with the temperature falling and a blinding blizzard happening. She had not seen another vehicle for some time, but she felt she had no choice when she eventually came upon a car coming towards her which turned out to be Leo Nicolaevich. He was headed to his house in the country from Moscow for some down time. He picked her up taking her with him, but they exchanged only their first names giving no other personal information. They each thought the other was special, but as soon as the weather cleared they believed they would never see each other again. Leo found it hard to believe that Nikita was never scared of him, because he was so large or the scar on his face when everyone else would immediately shy away. She found him to be a gentle and patient man. He made one terrible mistake with her though after they met again by accident when he discovered she was a ballarina, by not telling her what he really did for a living. A story jam packed with edge of your chair suspense, action, mystery, intrigue, and of course romance.

Scarred Prince is my favorite of the Bratva Billionaires series by KC Crowne. Leo is the accountant for the Nicolaevich Bratva. He is acting leader while his brother is away. One snowy night he encounters a woman, near frozen and offers her a ride. Nikita feels an instant draw to her rescuer. His good looks along with his scar give off a dangerous feel.

Nikita is an understudy with the Boleshoi Ballet. She has been working all her life for a chance to dance lead. When someone sabotages the lead dancer, she gets her chance but now someone is threatening her. Leo is so warm and caring to Nakita but he is so afraid if she knew he was a criminal she would not give him a chance. Things get very complicated when the Bratva her father is in debted to is the very man she can't get enough of.

The story has twists, suspense and romance. I didn't put the book down and read it straight through. I did not find a dull spot in it. The characters are complex and their world is interesting. The relationship between Leo and Nakita is complex but happily ever after in the end. Scarred Prince is an excellent read.

Ballerina and the Mobster
OMG, I loved this story! I loved Nikita and Leo! Ballerina Nikita has just about everything going against her; Mother from hell who is also the ballet master from hell, a father who gambles away all their money and family heirlooms, and then when things go wrong at the Bolshoi Theatre Nikita gets blamed. By day, Nikita practices unbelievably hard as the Prima Ballerina. She has been awarded the prestigious lead of the sugar plum fairy in The Nutcracker Production. Nikita is under so much stress. Thank God she just met a wonderful man who makes her heart soar. She is unaware of who Leo Nicolaevich is or what he does but he’s just so sweet and sexy and considerate. Leo and Nikita have their ups and downs but forge a beautiful friendship that turns into a wonderful love story. Sweet innocent Nikita needs Leo’s help and he is there for her. I also love how close and involved Leo’s family is with each other. “Scared Prince” is full of action, confrontations, and backstabbing, you just can’t put this book down. Leo is the number's man for his family's money laundering & covering businesses. Money is going missing, and he needs to why out since this isn't happening under his watch. His brother, who is in charge, is away, so Leo has been left in charge. While out one night traveling to his cabin in the woods for some quiet time he stumbles across Nikita walking in the middle of a blizzard due to her car having broken down. She reluctantly goes with him, hoping he's not a serial killer. After their one-night stand, he drops her off at the train station she wants to go to and thinks they will never see each other again. They run into each other by accident, and Leo takes her under his wing, never thinking they are tied together in more ways than they think. Once I started this book I found it hard to put down and had to keep turning the pages. I could have turned around and read it all over again.

Nikita & Leo's story had me hooked from the start with him saving her being stranded at the roadside of her broken down car leading to them spending one steamy night of passion. They went their separate ways the next morning but fate brought them together when he saw her again performing as the ballerina at the Bolshoi where he was donating money. The spark was still there & the more time they spent together the stronger they became but they were linked not just by the ballet but by her father. When her father's secrets came out it threatened any chance of Leo & Nikita being together as he was now the enemy being the Bratvia. There was more to overcome before Nikita could be happy, a hateful mother/teacher, sabotage, danger & near death but I was desperately turning the pages needing more. We got to see the rest of Leo's family again in this book who could give Nikita a loving, caring family she never had & brothers who you couldn't help laugh with.

Leo finds Nikita on the side of road after her car broke down one night before a blizzard. He ends up taking her to his cabin to wait out the storm. They have a night of passion but they really don't release their true identities. She tells him that she lives in a different city and he tells her that he is an accountant. Nikita is really a ballerina and the girl that she was understudying ends up getting hurt so Nikita gets to take her place. That makes the other ballerinas jealous and they think that she is the reason the other ballerina got hurt.

Meanwhile Leo stumbles across her ballet study, not knowing that she is part of it and he makes a large donation (a way to start laundering money for the bratva). They end up meeting again and her mom is not too happy about it. Also Nikita's dad owes money to the bratva which she later finds out. Nikita ends up getting pregnant and a lot more happens. But this book was pretty good!.

Tropes- Damsel in Distress, One Night Stand, Surprise Pregnancy, Secret Pregnancy, Dysfunctional Family FTW, He Ain’t Heavy- He’s My Bratva, That’s Not My Leg.
What I liked- both main characters had interesting jobs and I liked reading about them. And I loved the trust they had in each other. Their chemistry was very powerful.
What I didn’t- Unfortunately, there were typos and a couple of continuity errors. It’s a shame, because this is a good book otherwise. And a Bratva that has promised not to kill? Seriously?
Verdict- enjoyable.

Will she forgive him when his secrets are revealed? Will their love survive the obstacle thrown at them..

Beautiful love story worth five stars. Two people finding each other in a snowstorm.

Nikita was on her way home from her grandmother house when her car broke down in a snowstorm. Leo was heading to his cabin when he stopped to help. They spent a beautiful night together that left a lasting impression on each other. Leo and his four brothers were Bratva in Moscow. Leo was the accountant for the family. Nikita was a professional ballerina. When Leo went to the Bolshoi to donate money, he saw Nikita when the director took him on a tour. He knew then that he couldn’t ever let her go. Nikita’s mom was the ballet master and a tyrant. The story was just beautiful in how a woman saw more in a man than the scar on his face. The story showed how a woman with a pure and good heart saw the beauty in a man who lived a dangerous life. This book is definitely worth five stars 🌟.

'Scarred Prince' is a Bratva romance packed with everything a Bratva romance should be packed with - family, mystery, secrets, suspense, and love 😘. Leo is the family accountant and he finds Nikita on the side of the road with car trouble. They share the night preparing never to see each other again. Fate has different plans.

Nikita is a beautiful, strong woman who is trying to figure out who she is. Then she meets Leo, who opens up her whole world. Leo finds so much hope and promise in Nikita. They mesh so well, even though there are several obstacles in their way. The suspense is thrilling and the fire between these two is hot hot hot!!! I love it!!! I found this book quite delicious!

'Scarred Prince' is book 6 in the series 'Bratva Billionaires' and it can be read as a standalone. This series is an epic Bratva romance series!!

Nikita and Leo are connected in unexpected ways. They meet when she is trying to bail her father out with the Bratva, but doesn’t realize that Leo is a member of the ruling family. They met on a dark, cold, blizzard like night and soon fell into each other. They parted, but couldn’t stop thinking about each other.
They slowly dance their way around all the important elements of the story until they can’t anymore. That is when they finally sit down and talk about the Bratva and her father, and Leo’s interest in her. They finally realize that their feelings are deeper than either understood.
Nikita retires from professionally dancing and her and Leo are soon in a committed relationship along with a baby on the way.
Their love was born on a cold and dark night, but has since been growing into the light .

This book takes us back to Moscow and reunites us with the Nicolaevich’s Bratva. This time we meet Leo. He is the numbers man for the family. He is on his way to his cabin for a little break when he sees Nikita walking through the snow after her car breaks down. They have a steamy night together before he drops her at the train station on his way home.
He doesn't know that they are connected in another way until after they have reconnected after he goes to visit the local ballet house in a way to launder money.
Things aren't smooth or easy as Leo tries to find out who is stealing from the family and Nikita is dealing with her coach who is also her mother, her father who has a gambling problem and a group of jealous dancers.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Nikita Belov & Leo Nikolaevich. Nikita just wants to help her father even though she knows that it is a no win situation. When her car breaks down she is determined to get back to town even if she has to walk in a snowstorm. Little did she know a man she won't be able to forget would save her that night. Leo has so much on his plate being able to forget a woman he has only seen once is not something he should be doing. When he finds her at the ballet he knows exactly what he needs to do to make sure she will be his. Can they find a HEA or will others make sure that never happens?

Another hit out of the park by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

This book has dramatic action, violence, heated sexual attraction, deception, consequences for one’s actions, family values, and a love story. One- eye known as Leo is the family accountant of the Bratva. He is a big burly man with a scar down his face including his eye. He rescues Nikita on a wintery stormy night when her car breakdown. Their interactions are priceless. They seem to click . This is how their lust turned love story begins. There are some crazy twists to the story including family and Bratva drama. I had a hard time putting it down. KV Crowne does an excellent job making the characters seem real.

Scarred Prince is book six in the series Bratva Billionaires by author K.C. Crowne. Firstly I want to say I really enjoy this series. Each book speaks to you differently yet with the same message- I know I’m confusing but if you know you know. Anywho, Scarred Prince, is brilliant. There’s so much emotion and wonder in between these pages. They are the Bratva - only they are unique. Don’t get me wrong the characters in this book are ruthless and brutal yet there is a certain kindness. I know sounds wrong- but it’s not. It’s a different look- oh and don’t go thinking the male characters are weak - heavens no. Just more.

This book was a total surprise to me. A sheer delight though. Wow!
This was about Bolshoi ballerina, Nikita when she meets Bratva man Leo in the middle of a blizzard.
These two certainly had it all and then some. Passion, dynamic and chemistry.
I adored Leo and his two personalities work and hers. His tough guy debt collector persona and his protective, genuine caring loving persona. He really loved her and she him.
It was a tough look behind the scenes of the ballet and also the Bratva business.
Very well done, fantastic characters with the whole family, and a really interesting and absorbing storyline. Extremely great story I just loved!!.

This is Book 6 in the Bravata Billionaire Series It is a stand-alone But characters from previous books are in this one.
Leo and Nikita's book is such a steamy and romantic tale with some Bravata action thrown in.
This author always gives us strong characters and a great storyline and guaranteed steamy goodness. This book definitely had the right side of the tracks girl and the wrong side of the tracks guy going on.
But their first meeting and that one hot steamy night just sets the pace for how fantastic things will be between them. I couldn't put it down or look away from this book for one moment I loved it!!.

Another fabulously addictive Bratva story in this series. Leo is the money guy for the Nicolaevich Bratva. On a cold snowy night he comes across a woman, near frozen and offers her a ride. Instant attraction leads to a hot steamy one night stand. Fate has other plans when they encounter each other again when she meets him as patron of the ballet company in which she dances. Secrets, passion, revelations, threats, family dynamics, fear, tenderness, confrontation, deception, debts owed, violence, danger, consequences, surprises and many twists kept me turning the pages. Excellent and entertaining read.

An amazing story. Nikita is a ballerina at the Bolshoi theatre. Leo is an accountant for the bratva. They meet when Nikita is stranded in a snowstorm after her car breaks down. Even being strangers they have an instant connection and spend a night together at Leos cabin. They never thought they would see eachother again. But when Leo comes to offer a monetary contribution to the theatre he meets Nikita again and they start going out even when Nikitas mother is against it. When a sabotage at the theatre points Nikita as the culprit she turns to Leo for help even after knowing hes in the bratva. Loved reading their story. Thanx.

Omg loved it. As always from this author, never disappoints thats for sure. This book was so well written loved the characters, the storyline flowed well. Leo and Nikita were so very the opposite tracks, but they both were similar they just didn’t know it. I loved how the book began and it just got better and better. I loved how both characters needed each other, and found there footing in life. Leo grow the most and became a better person all because of Nikita. I also loved how the characters from the previous books were present, always good to hear how they are doing. Loved this book. Highly recommend.

When Love Changes Everything -
This was a truly spellbinding story, that pulled me in from the first page and had me hooked until I finished reading it. If you are looking for mafia story with a twist, then add in some family drama, workplace bullying and steamy sessions that will leave you jealous, then I suggest you get this book. I can guarantee you there is no chance you will want to take a break once you start reading this book. I can say without a shadow of doubt, that K.C. Crowne is definitely one of my favourite authors.
