Remi Laroche is struggling to figure out his place in the life of the alpha he's attached his heart to. It doesn't help that his heat is rapidly approaching, coinciding with a trip home to visit his family.

Dimitrios Cirillo has no idea what drove him to accept the invitation to stay with Remi's parents during Christmas. But with his omega in pre-heat, and the alpha unable to truly take care of his omega, things get complicated.

Unbeknownst to either of them, danger lurks in the shadows. What will Dimitrios do when his lover is targeted?

My review will cover the whole series since I read all three books back to back.

Remi Laroche, a financially struggling college student, loses his job when the cafe he works at suddenly shuts down. He's dealing with a messy breakup with an ex who doesn't seem to take no for an answer, and with his bills coming up + winter, he needs to find another job fast. A friend suggests he sign up for a sugar baby match service. He doesn't want to, but he finds that as his situation gets worse, he has nothing to lose. He's fiercely independent and finds that this will allow him to get financial security without getting into another relationship with an Alpha.

Dimitrios Cirillo is a workaholic and the CEO of a famous and influential tech company, and due to his intense work schedule, he hasn't had a chance to get off recently. He wants to have sex but does not want a relationship. He decides to sign up for the sugar baby/daddy agency, the perfect solution to his situation. He can provide for an omega, and in exchange, he will get regular sex with any of the issues that come with a relationship.

However, as they get to know one another, their relationship starts to shift into something more than just sex or money.

Overall, I really enjoyed this series. I wanted to start from book one, but I don’t do well with cliffhangers and decided to wait until it was completed, and it was worth the wait.

If you read Jett’s work before, you know what to expect. It’s very much a relationship forced, and we get very, very sugary, sweet, and hot moments between Remi and Dimi. While there are external and some internal issues between the two as their relationship grows from being Sugar Baby and Daddy.
I love seeing how independent Remi was outside in his life and work, but with Dimi, he was able to be submissive and let go.

Their sexual compatibility and chemistry were off the charts. We get lots of sex scenes between the two. While there’s a growing romance, Jett made sure to make this book super spicy - seriously, the plot is secondary to the smut. Some of the scenes can get repetitive, especially across three books, but honestly, it was no issue for me personally; I enjoyed each and every one of them. I also loved the long heat scenes! Thank you, Jett.

Also, there was a fair amount of kink (Daddy, praise, bondage, orgasm denials, lingerie, etc), nothing extreme, but Dimitrios is a Daddy and a pleasure Dom. Dimitrios became more and more possessive of Remi, so I liked seeing that as well.

It took a while for both of them to get on the same page regarding their feelings; everyone but them could see it. However, once they do, it’s perfect!

This series is long! I think each book is, on average, 500 pages; now, did it need to be that long? No, but at the same time, I am a glutton. If I like something, I want more of it. I’m a massive fan of the omegaverse world that Jett has created. They give me so much of the things I enjoy in this subgenre. So, the length did not bother me; I was really engrossed and invested in their relationship.

Jett has a particular narrative style, and if you read their books before you know what to expect, but for some readers I know this won’t be for them. I’ve mentioned it before, but there are some head-hopping and mid-page switches of character POVs which can be an issue.

Overall, I really enjoyed this series and am glad that I read it. Honestly, I’ve read every book by Jett so far and need more! Can’t wait to see what is next from this author.

this whole whole series would've better off as 1 big book. i guess it says something abou tme as a reader, and maybe i've slightly outgrown my fanfiction era, because this was a bit too much.
the sex scenes were really good in the beginning, but let's be honest-- they got bland after a short while. same shit, different lingerie.
also, over 1500 pages until they properly get together? PLEASE.
also also, the constant pov change in the middle of scenes was amateur almost, definitely juvenile at times. plus the recap of whole days from the other's pov? got old really quick. the series read like the author was writing the story one chapter at a time, with no planning in between whatsoever. feelings and thoughts formed in the first book rehashed multiple times throughout the story, even in the last book. reading the whole series in one go across 2 weeks felt painful after a while, when no new ideas are presented.
the books desperately needed an editor (or a better editor). so many redundant scenes. some typos. too much similar sex that i started skipping from first book.
had SO MUCH potential (the description was delicious) but ultimately fell flat-- slowly and painfully. i was excited when i saw this was a trilogy, but thought the books would cover another couples-- instead of beating the dead horse of remi and dimitrios' relationship into the ground.
honestly, it teased with the idea of phoenix and maddox meeting and getting together (or was it just my delusional ass lol). sigh...
will i read masterson's other books? hell yes. omegaverse ftw.

This could’ve been a novella and would’ve still dragged.
Honestly this book pissed me off so much! I’m not saying the first two were literary masterpieces, but at least they were enjoyable and a fun type of escapism with the whole billionaire sugar daddy. This one on the other hand absolutely had nothing going on for it. Bad editing, no plot, repetitive and boring sex scenes, ridiculous characters, etc..

What pissed me off the most and had me skimming the last 40% pages besides how boring they were was the constant repetition of the same exact things, how Remi is just sooo beautiful and pretty and perfect, how Demitrious the billionaire was mistreated by his exes who where soo evil and over all diabolical people for not wanting the same things in bed, and how much they were compatible and how good they are to each other. I mean .. the last one isn’t actually bad but it gets kinda old when you have to read it for the hundredth time. It just kept going on and on without actually saying anything new or interesting.
I can go on but this book doesn’t deserve that much thought tbh.

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
Format: ebook

This was a decent conclusion of a fun journey through my first omegaverse trope. I think the writing got a little monotonous towards the end. I think this series would’ve benefitted from being two books instead of three, and cutting out a lot of the repetitive scenes would have helped.

I really did love Remi and Dimitrios as a couple. I also really enjoyed all the side characters. The tiny third act breakup killed me because we spent an entire book reading about how much they loved each other but they both just refused. to. say. it. I wanted to knock their heads together.

The random conflict with the rival company in this book was a little out there as well. I just found it weird and not written in a believable way. And I have never complained about spice before but it got to the point where enough was enough.

Overall, I really liked the series. I’ll definitely read another omegaverse book in the future.

DNF at 84%. I may or may not finish, I’m not sure that it matters as I know where the book is headed.

I was just really bored, and I half paid attention to this book as Alexa read it to me while I did other things. If I had had to sit down and physically Read this I would have never made it through. Which is a shame because I really enjoyed books 1 and 2. But this one just dragged.

It felt repetitive, lacking direction, and it felt like a filler book even though this was the ending of the series. There was definitely some unnecessary relationship angst between the two and the writing around that angst got to be pretty repetitive. There was still plenty of spice which is fine, but with the lack of plot movement that also just made the book feel more repetitive. I’m not normally one to complain about an excess of spice, but if the plot is going to be lacking, then to me, the spice should be closer to erotica. However, that’s not what we get here. Especially because Remi is very emotional in this book, the sex between the couple is actually pretty tame compared to books one and two.

While I did not finish the book, I can tell our couple is going to get their HEA I just wish they got there sooner and more purposefully.

This was so stupid it was funny. I enjoyed it as soon as I started literally skipping all the sex scenes. It’s giving “I’m writing chapter by chapter for that app” vibes.

Ok but how RUDE of Jett Masterson to make me CRY?! I had to stop myself from letting out a ridiculously loud sob at WORK. Ugh, I love these two so dang much! It’s crazy just how much comfort this story gave me. This series has convinced me that both Omegaverse and Daddy Kink is WHERE IT IS AT! Love them so much!

Ok. This series was EVERYTHING . Masterson has to be my FAVORITE M/M Omegaverse write. Books like this (about sugar babies) are easy to be just smut and then the characters fall in love and I'm like "huh, when did that happen?🤔" I never saw sugaring as romantic as this. Even their first interaction, I could tell that build up was going to be great.

I was not prepared. Thankfully this is the final book which means our dear Jett couldn’t leave us on another freaking cliff hanger! Remi and Dimitrios had me crying, kicking my feet, and yelling about how they’re idiots who are in love! I’ve loved following their romance from sugar baby/daddy to hopelessly in love across these three books, even when they were being dumb. These two deserve their HEA and I’m so glad they got such a good one.

One point five rounded up to two because I really do like the main pairing, even if the writing around them leaves much to be desired.

The single most important observation I can make about this book, I think, is that around page 380 I exclaimed in delight out loud, "Ah! Conflict!" Fortunately, I was alone at the time, but the point is that it took 380 pages to get there. Thos 380 pages have very, very little plot; I'd say they're character development, but there's not really much of that, either. There's introduction of new characters and some lovely domesticity, but it's basically f*cking-while-pining with some family dynamics on the side. FOR 380 PAGES. That is not great.

And that's the thing about this series, each book more than the last: the pair is adorable, the storyline is fluffy and cute, the sex is suitably spicy, but MY KINGDOM FOR AN EDITOR. Easily a third of this book could have been cut, including the sex scenes because even spice gets repetitive if there's too much of it. Especially in a book where I know nothing is going to be permanently bad--which I'm not knocking at all, I love me a good HEA--it is just ridiculous to put the reader through almost 600 pages of Not Much, especially because there was so much that could have been explored. (I'll put these under a spoiler tag just in case you really don't want to know and can't see the giant red directional arrows of how it ends.) And so on; there was enough hiding in the wings that Masterson could have legitimately eaten up 500 pages, but nope. "Does he love me? Let me count the ways he rails me into the mattress" is the whole thing.

To give credit where it's due, I appreciated a couple of quotes for specific reasons:
"He was sure there were other alphas who were just as skilled as Dimitrios in bed, and probably who had similar kinks. It wasn't about that. Dimitrios was...his." (40) Lovely, wonderful, thank you; it's so irksome when, in romance, someone is like "oh my beloved is objectively a sex god" when in reality it's the connection that makes it click. That's actually far cooler to read, the idea that someone loves someone else because they love that person who Does It For Them, not because they've gotten seduced by good technique.

"He might be the alpha, and he may even be the dominant partner, but for now, he was a mere servant and Remi was his perfect prince." (348) Setting aside the soul-deep sigh that I have for A/B/O being tied to wolves and thereby maligning the wonder of wolves who absolutely don't have any of this nonsense going on (the guy who originally posited the notion of an "alpha wolf" has since recanted, apologized, and been dutifully horrified by how wildly absurd it's become), I absolutely love this explicit understanding that Dom top =/= zero softness ever. All relationships are give and take, and just because someone is the lead most of the time doesn't mean they can't be anything else ever. In point of fact, the best Doms have a hell of a soft side for their sub. (Also, caretaking goes both ways, so I was glad of a different quote on 532: "I'm the alpha, I shouldn't need to be coddled like a child...but when you cared for me, it felt good." DOMS NEED LOVE TOO.)

"Dimitrios didn't take Remi's control from him, he accepted the control that Remi handed over of his own free will." (376) HEY BDSM ROMANCE WRITERS, TAKE NOTE. IT IS NOT COOL WHEN YOU WRITE COERCION AND CALL IT LOVE. Safe, sane, consensual; tattoo it on yourself, if needed.

Tl;dr: Masterson wrote a lovely relationship that has some beautifully healthy and adorably fluffy things going on, and the buried it in a tome of repetition and cardboard secondary characters and I'm mad about it because this could be a four-star book instead of a one-star with some good sentences.

Omegaverse (Alpha x Omega) Non-Shifter
Sugar Daddy x Sugar Baby
Size Difference
Age gap (21 & 35)
Light BDSM Themes
Knotting
Lingerie and High Heels
Billionaire x College Student
Strict Top/Bottom
Erotica

This is a trilogy that follows the same couple throughout three books, each one continuing where the last one left off. MUST READ IN ORDER!

Book One: The first book was mostly introductions to the characters, their backgrounds, their friends, hobbies, personalities, and much more. We got to see both Remi and Dimitrios meet through a match making company and begin their sugar daddy x sugar baby relationship. Throughout this book, the two find themselves enjoying the other’s company more than they thought they would, having feeling they didn’t expect to experience begin to surface.

Book Two: In this book the feelings these two have for each other start to grow intensely. The two of them go through emotions that they feel like they shouldn’t be going through, especially since they’re aware the premise of their relationship is based on money and s3x. Many things happen and the two of them spend plenty of intimate time together but tension surfaces as the two of them can’t decide whether to tell the other their feelings or to keep the sugar daddy x sugar baby relationship going.

Book Three: By book three the two of them have completely fallen for the other and there’s no escaping that fact. The two of them are both unaware of the others feelings and so there’s fear, tension, and panic as the two of them try not to ruin the relationship they have but also want more from the other. After some unfortunate incident where Remi is left scared and Dimitrios on edge, things take an escalated turn.

Personal Thoughts: I’ll be honest, I loved this story so much and I gobbled it up when I read it. However, as I continued reading each book I noticed there was a lot of repetition and scenes where the story kind of felt like it was dragging on. I usually don’t mind this (since I’m known for my short term memory loss) but by the third book it became abundantly clear how often phrases or paragraphs were being reiterated over and over again. It’s still an amazing book and I loved the characters to pieces but I definitely feel like it could’ve been shortened to two books instead of three.

3.5⭐️ 4.5🌶️

• MM non-shifter omegaverse
• omega x alpha
• sugar baby x sugar daddy
• size difference
• age gap (21/35)
• Daddy/little k!nk (no age play)
• strong good boy/praise k!nk
• knotting
• BDSM + D/s dynamic (soft/caretaking Dom)
• toys
• femboy
• college student x rich businessman
• every day life
• pet names: baby, good/pretty boy, little one, sweetheart
• low angst
• fast burn lust, slow burn love
• strict top/bottom
• 3rd pov
• dual pov

After having read books one and two, the third book felt like it was dragging a bit as it became even more repetitive both in the spicy scenes and internal thoughts. The smexy times were a lot and I found myself skim reading some parts, it felt a little long because of this, but I still enjoyed it, although I had to take breaks at times and read something else to get some variation.

It’s a pretty cute and sweet story mixed with some BDSM k!nky stuff, with a heavy Daddy k!nk.

I really love both mmcs and think they are so cute together. I loved the portrayal of an alpha man that could also show is softer side.

I recommend this book if you’re looking for something light (no big dramas between the mmcs so far), with two beautiful characters engaging in lots of sexy and a bit k!nky times!

SPOILERS AHEAD:

The only thing that I felt was “strange” (for lack of a better word), was that omegas are referred to as “moms” no matter if they’re males of females/no matter if they use she/he pronouns. I’ve never encountered this and I thought it was peculiar to be called “mom” if an omega is male and uses he/him pronouns. I’ve never encountered this before in the other omegaverse books I’ve read. Maybe I haven’t read enough omegaverse?

I don’t know, but imo not because one person is the “bearer” of the children they have to be called “mom”? This is a fictional world, so the author can do whatever they want with their world building of course. I just felt strange whenever I encountered the word “mom” with he/him pronouns. It was an interesting choice.

As well as the fact that each omega/mom we met had really soft and more “feminine” qualities (or characteristics that we/I associate more with women let’s say). I personally would’ve liked a little more variation there.

Anyway, this doesn’t affect my rating, just wanted to share my thoughts :)

god this book was just SO GOOD!! i loved it.

where to even begin. i’m glad that this book had more going on than just the smut. of course there was still a ton of smut, but i loved getting to meet remi’s family and friend from home, seeing dimitrios reconnect with his family, experiencing the attack against remi, and especially witnessing dimitrios’s intense protectiveness afterward. i loved all of those elements and wish that we got even more moments like that or just simple dates between remi and dimitrios. the moments like those were some of my favorite moments in the book.

AND THE CONFESSION OF LOVE/PROPOSAL?!? my god i just had tears streaming down my face forever when i read that. remi and dimitrios are just so perfect for each other. they both have been through so much, and i’m so glad that they can finally be their true, authentic selves around someone. dimitrios is my baby, and it breaks my heart to hear how his previous partners treated him and made him feel like he was broken, worthless, and didn’t deserve love. it’s so beautiful to see how remi opened him up over the course of these books without even meaning to, and he absolutely deserves every ounce of love and care that remi gives him. and remi is just so sweet and soft and perfect, and i’m glad that with dimitrios he can finally be as vulnerable and needy as he’s also wanted to be with someone. they were just made for each other, and when they finally, FINALLY confess their feelings for each other it was so beautiful to witness. i just love love loved it.

overall, i just love these characters so much. the side characters were so great and i loved the elements they added to the story, and i’m so sad that this is the last time i’ll be in this world. remi and dimitrios will have my heart forever and ever.

This review is for the full trilogy as I read them back to back.
This trilogy has a repetition issue. The characters non stop repeat how they cant believe the other one chose them, how perfect they are for them, and yet it still takes them three 400+ page books to (book 3 spoiler) I did skim a LOT of the Spicy scenes as they were so frequent and repetitive I started getting bored of them. If they had cut down on the sex scenes and focused more on the story and budding romance I do think this would have been a better series, and a shorter one. I didn't think it was 1 star worthy because I really enjoyed the character building, I loved Remys friends and family and would actually have loved to read a book about some of them. The conflicts were somewhat interesting, but the main conflict of them being in a sugar baby/daddy relationship dragged on WAY too long.

Also loved the cover art for the first two books, third one not so much.

I still standby my statement that book two was the best of the series, but I didn’t hate book three. It was very much a ‘wrapping up the lose ends’ kind of book and I loved seeing how Remi interacted with his friends and his family. His mom is freaking hilarious and she just added to the chaos of meeting family for the first time. I enjoyed watching the two realize their feelings for each other and realizing that they’re mates, but the miscommunication made my heart ache knowing that they just needed to talk it out! The last minute ‘action’ was a little unnecessary, but I do love that it showcases that Remi really is not your average Omega and I just love the black sheep Omega. The ending was really sweet and the perfect wrap up for the series. Never get my answer on why the Alpha owns so many hoodies!

4.5/5. This was a great ending to the series! I loved the fact that these two finally admitted their love for each other, if only to themselves. I also enjoyed seeing them interact with Remi’s family. It was so sweet and welcoming. Seeing Dimi reconnect with his family was great, too. I also love the fact that Dimi knew Remi’s dad and Remi knew Dimi’s dad. That was a fun set up from book one that I liked seeing fulfilled. Then Remi’s heat came and that was great to see Dimi take such good care of Remi. From there, we see Dimi’s company being threatened (and Remi). And finally the wonderful conclusion that I’d been waiting for for 1,200 pages! This was such a fun conclusion and a fun series.

Notes: 4/5 spice levels, age gap, daddy, sugar baby/sugar daddy, billionaire mc, size difference, omegaverse, who did this to you, lingerie

HANDS DOWN the best of the trilogy.
Why?
Soooooo much less smexy times!

Y’all. We’ve got PLOT outside of smex. And I loved every single second of it! Well, every second except the one hiccup since these two guys couldn’t just TALK even though they communicate well in other ways.

I adored all the side characters. The little twist and drama was both endearing and heart wrenching. Nothing hotter than a rabid alpha because of his omega.

I’ll admit after ALL THAT I wanted a bit more at the end but YAY to what was implied. And why was I vibing with Ezra or Maddox and Leon?? Like, they didn’t meet in person but I could TOTALLY see it!

I’m happy. Happy I knocked out this massive trilogy that I feel could have been 5 solid stars if it were about 1000 pages less. But alas, smut wins with this story and overall, I’m glad I took this one on.

0/5. Because that was painfully awful. I mean… just… goddamn, that was bad. I can’t even pick out something to soften the blow of a bad review. There was literally nothing there. The entire trilogy could’ve been a single 400 page book if you cut all the repetition out. The first two books were barely readable, but they had redeeming qualities that made the time spent worth the struggle. This final doorstop was just milking something that didn’t have anything extra or left to give. If I never see irresistibly reminded again, I’ll be the happiest noodle you’ve ever met. I finished it because I’m stubborn and I was pissed off. How dare you make me read that with my only set of eyes?? I could sit here and write an entire novella on the negatives, but instead I think I’ll just go find something good to read to wash the bad juju out of my spirit.

I waited to review this trilogy. Parts 1 & 2 kept a steady flow of intimate interactions and storyline while part 3 was about Remi and Dimitrios finally able to be together and build what they had started moving towards in the first two parts. I loved how this author is not afraid to write sexy and steamy while so many other authors have dumbed down their sexiness. Book 3 was definitely slower but I still enjoyed the love build between these two and I cannot wait for my next book already bought…”Waiting on the One”…Masterson has now taken up a seat at my “Authors Table” so let me get back at it!!!

Fabulously kinky and fiery!!! Jump on in!!!😍😍😍

So exquisite!😘 There is so much beauty in pain. Jett Masterson is a genius at getting a reaction thrumming through your body when you read this fiery trilogy. Remi and Dimitrios are raw and sexy.😏 They reveal dark desires each have hidden away to keep themselves whole. Their truth is excruciatingly visceral with ragged edges frayed and messy. It will make you bleed while you beg for more! I blushed and whined as I devoured this trilogy!😚 Join in the fun, I highly recommend this delicious series!😁 They will leave you breathless!😛
Always check your trigger!😉

DNF @35% ... I just got worn out with this "series." Like, it was a fun OTT story with some hot sexy times, and if the 3x 500+page books had been ONE single book, with about 10% of the overall sex scenes included, I think it would easily have been a 4-star read for me. But it started to feel like such a fucking slog to keep going with this third 500+ page book, and after I kept setting it aside to go find funner things to read, I finally realized I just don't care enough to finish at this point, so... 🤷‍♀️

The style of the writer improved a lot since book one, and that´s really good!

Remi is a sweet boy. Funny that when alone he is so strong and independent, but with his Alfa he is so fragile and needy.

The Trilogy is not a classic, but it´s nice, give it a try.

Be warned that it has pages and pages of sex. Looks like some people gets annoyed by that, but this is the objective of this kind of book, no?

I’m glad they finally got together… It only took roughly 1,600 pages for them to get their heads out of their asses, but they got there. I was getting excited that there wasn’t going to be a third act breakup but then laughed because they would have to be together by the third act to have that type of break up. I mean technically it did happen but that got easily resolved. Overall I think Remi and Dimi are super cute together and I love how fiercely protective they are of each other.

This book is absolutely filthy. This was my first omegaverse – well, the first book in this trilogy was – and I was not expecting to like it much and let me tell you, I will be revisiting these. The writing is surprisingly good for what I was expecting, and I actually liked the side characters and storyline.

Yes, this is mostly porn, but it’s well-written porn with plot and I loved every second.

Listen. If you’ve made it to book 3, you already know what works and what doesn’t. As a whole, this series is too long and holds very little in the way of storytelling. That being said, reading all three over the course of the weekend was one hell of a ride and overall I enjoyed it.

I’d love to read a spin-off for Maddox and Ezra but I’m not sure if that’s something the author does.

Tears of happiness after this!

What a journey it’s been and what a blessing to be able to watch Remi and Dimi’s love blossom. Sadly, the trilogy has come to an end, but hopefully we’ll be seeing some specials and short stories soon…All praise to Masterson for this lovely series and I absolutely will be rereading in the near future!

Jett did it again

I love the writing style of Jett and this series is an absolute pleasure to read. I will definitely be rereading this in the future and hopefully will hear it in audio. I love the world this series creates and the story of two beings learning to love and trust was utterly beautiful.

Meh. I skimmed probably 60%. Same same sex scenes, cheat writing and filling. It could have been edited down to 200ish pages, now the story just fell back and the daddy, ngh, vanilla baby, cumdump took the front seat. Sometimes fade to black is enough. So, I'm glad the series is done.

This trilogy could’ve easily been a single book. This was long and just exhausting, and the characters were frustrating, and the smut was lackluster. I was thoroughly bored, and yet somehow I finished it (skimmed the last like 10%).
