The crew of the Devil's Dress has been cursed by a god.
One by one they fall, and India Muerte embarks on a desperate search for a way to remove the curse before it completely consumes them. The hunt takes him across the Caribbean and Mississippi Seas — and down into the water, deeper than any human has ever explored...
INDIA MUERTE AND THE HUNT FOR BLACK ATLANTIS is the third book in this pirate fantasy adventure series, going deeper and darker than ever before.
Two things always stand out for me in the India Muerte series: the characterization and the prose. Book three did not disappoint on these fronts. India is growing into an interesting, complex, and often quite arrogant young man. I enjoy learning alongside him and experiencing the world through his eyes, which often alight on things that mine wouldn't. Surprising to noone, the passages underwater are my favourites. I love the author's ability to conjure up a world that I feel I can reach out and touch, and these underwater adventures are some of his best.
Have read all 3 now and just love them. Great books by a great author Set Sytes has hit upon a great idea and I love watching India's story develop and look forward to the next one.
