5 Star Review Meaner Than Evil: Mission: Logan by Jessika Klide
Jessika Klide is a relatively new author to me but what I have read I have found entertaining and as I enjoy romantic suspense stories I could not wait to read Meaner Than Evil: Mission: Logan.
This is a a second chance at love story that held me captivated from the first to the last chapter. When Jack Black aka Hammer learns that the love of his life, his ex wife Logan has been kidnapped, he and the team will do whatever it takes to rescue her and exact revenge.
If you like hot as sin alpha males, romance and suspense, then this book is for you. There is suspense, danger, intrigue and heat and there were times that I was on the edge of my seat whilst reading.
The romance and chemistry that sizzles between Logan and Hammer is intense and smoking hot. Although they married young and eventually went their separate ways the love between them has never died. Now is there time to reconnect. This was a well written and entertaining story that drew me in I cannot wait to see what happens next in this series.

Short, snappy and sexy read. Pulls no punches in the action or in the smexy times.
Jack and Logan burned fast and hot when they were together but tragedy broke them apart, neither capable of saving the other from pain. But love was never a problem between them and when the crap hits the fan in Logan's life - the one phone call she makes is to her father telling him to find Jack!
When Jack aka Hammer is given the info that his former wife has been abducted he drops everything to save her. He'll rip hell itself apart to find her and bring her back home.

This is the second book in this series. However, they can be read as standalone books. I haven’t read the first one and wasn’t lost at all. Logan Black is a successful New York attorney. She has been working to take down a cartel boss. Things go a sideways after her last win. Jack Black is a former SEAL and now part of the Born to Fight Task Force. When he learns that his ex-wife has been kidnapped, he will do everything in his power to get her back. The people who took Logan have no idea what kind of trouble they are in for. This was a great quick read. Action packed and a second chance for Logan and Jack. I look forward to reading more books in this series and more books by Jessika in general. Great job Jessika.

WOW! Jessika hit this one right out of the park
This is not just a romance or second chance romance. This was a powerful read that really hits home about the other side of life... human trafficking.
Jessika did an amazing job and it was extremely life like as we follow Logan as she is abducted and prepared to be sold through a Human Trafficking ring.
Lucky enough for Logan she had an Ex who had the right connections and know how that was able to save her and give her a second chance not only in life but also in love.
This was book 2 in the series and I can tell this whole series is going to be amazing!

Thrilling Story!!
This is a really great story that’s action-packed, lots of suspense, drama, thrills and danger, sure to keep anyone entertained from beginning to end. I was on the edge of my seat with anticipation of what was going to happen next the whole way through.
Jack and Logan captivated me and frustrated me throughout. They couldn’t make it work the first time around but even though they are divorced the love between then never went away. Jack and Logan have really great chemistry and the sexual tension is explosive and extremely hot when they are together. I was cheering them on from the sidelines.

Quick read... with lots going on. Logan and Jack married young and went separately to find there dreams but you know they still love each other deeply. Logan is a kick butt lawyer and doesn't realize she trusted the wrong person. But she has a someone in her corner noone expects Jack. I was really shocked by how easily they fall back into each other with such ease and comfort. It's a super sweet ending I was excited about.

Compelling...
Human trafficking is rampant. Fiction, yes, but so relevant to today. This is the second book in the series about former Seals and other military badasses who've retired from active duty but are now fighting in the arena of saving trafficked victims. These books are hard hitting, the men meaner than evil! Best I've read in a long while!

This book is action packed from page 1. There’s so much happening you won’t realize how fast you read this story.
Jack and Logan are divorced yet still carry a torch for each other. Logan is in trouble and Jack will always come to her rescue.

This is the 2nd book in this amazing series and is Logan and Jack / Hammer’s story. Hammer is an ex-seal and when he finds out that his ex-wife Logan has been kidnapped, he and the team start working on finding her no and dishing out vengeance. These two married young and separated to travel on different paths in life, but the chemistry between them is still combustible and undeniable. This is a well written flawless story which is action packed, and with suspense, redemption, danger, intrigue, emotions, and love, which all leads to an entertaining and fantastic 2nd change love story. I was totally enthralled throughout this riveting and addictive page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author.

Logan is a hot spot lawyer hell bent on taking down the scum of the earth. She just wrapped up a case putting a known trafficker behind bars when a bounty is put on her head. And that money was enticing enough for her driver to give her up. That's where her ex-husband comes in. Former Navy SEAL and all around God Jack the Hammer Black is not one you want to mess with. Out of the Navy now working with a group of highly trained professionals to break up trafficking rings. He is just the man to call in. I enjoyed this book. Just wish it was longer. Very quick read.

Hot Damn!!!
This books sizzled frim beginning to end! The chemistry was there the morality was there but most if all the love was out there to set the pace for Logan and Jack.

This book is good. However it’s pretty intense and very short. I was uncomfortable in some parts but it did make the story of human trafficking more realistic.
