Excellent book from Craig Truglia! He very thoroughly dismantles a Vatican I view of the papacy, demonstrating a consistent consensus-based ecclesiology of the Church throughout the first 800 years.

I really appreciated this book by Craig Truglia. Though I’m generally not a fan of YouTube Christian apologists, I found this book to be not only well written and engaging, but also highly informative and scholarly. Not only does it present a solid case for the Orthodox view on the position of the Church of Rome, it also undermines Protestant presuppositions regarding early Church history as well as dispense with popular yet faulty Orthodox arguments seen commonly online. He also works with a variety of secondary sources from reputable scholars of various Christian traditions. Christians of all stripes dedicated to the search for the Truth should give this book a read.
