My first book by the author and it was such an amazing read. I’m a big fan of the enemies to lovers trope and this one was done so well with Rajiv and Sheena’s story. From the way they both met each other in the beginning to the moment they started dating, I was rooting for them throughout everything.
Sheena’s such an inspiring character, with her courage and fire and always standing up for what is right. Rajiv’s such a sweetheart too, doing everything in his power to protect the people he loves. The other characters were also so well written and the family and friendship bonds were just chef’s kiss🤌🏼
I can’t wait for Armaan and Navya’s story next!

I really like the first half of the book where they were enemies and turned to friends but later it kinda moved to cringe element. Felt like watching an Indian serial with so much family drama and cringe material. Some scenes felt forced to be in the story.
It’s an okay bingeable read just for guilty pleasure.
I am excited for Navya and Armaan’s story.

I just finished reading this book, and I want to read more about the characters soon!
Rajiv and Sheena make me wanna go to my "desi" phase😭 They were so cuteee!
their banter was amazing, making me wish to want that for myself one day!
rajiv such a cutie, i just wanna cuddle with him 24/7!
I loved how they evolved from kinda enemies to friends to lovers which honestly made me love them more. The coincidences which they found themselves in, ahh I loved it all!
my favorite character would be janak, he reminded me of my late grand dad. all thanks to janak, our sweethearts are together now.
overall, this book is amazing. i’m eagerly waiting for kabier and keya’s story next!

When I read Sapna's first book Take a chance on me- Sheena and Rajiv were married. And I always felt shortchanged because it meant one love story less in the Sehgal verse
But Sapna has cleverly created a prequel to the earlier books and I m the most happiest to know that Sheena and Rajiv finally have their own story💃🏻💃🏻
Writing a prequel is not easy... Writing a prequel for a popular series is not at all easy... Writing a prequel almost as book 8 for the most popular series is unbelievable.... And turning this prequel into Book 1 of a 4 part series is awesomest ❤️ Sapna has amazingly managed to do that without taking away the flavor of her writing or the flavor of the Sehgal Saga. And once again, we have a mind blowing story to read
The bold, charming and smart mouthed Sheena Sehgal loses her mojo due to an incident in her past and is living her life aimlessly.... In comes Rajiv Mehra, turning her world upside down, bringing the spark back in her life
Rajiv on the other hand, has many secrets to keep and promises to fulfill. Inspite of trying his best to maintain his distance, he's drawn to her like a moth to a flame
Their slow burn love and volatile chemistry keeps you hooked on and the twists and turns in the story makes it exciting with every page you turn
And, just like her other books, when it ends, you are not sure if you are happy that your heart is full with all the love and beauty of the book or sad that it ended
Once again, Sapna has cast her magical spell on us and now, it's time to re-read all her other books, till the next one in this series is released 😄
Armaan and Navya's story is definitely gonna be a sizzling one
Reina and Vedant's book will be intriguing, considering the enigma created around Vedant's character
And Ananya and Mihir's grand finale will be the stormy finale to the series
Just thinking about all these characters is exciting enough to pray the next one is out pretty soon 🥰

All through my Sehgal Saga journey, I often wondered about this couple; the one that started it all, Janak’s first angel, Sheena and Rajiv. And, at last, my curiosity about the ‘it’ couple is abated.

The once bold, vivacious and mischievous Sheena lost her sheen to become a reserved, people-shy version of herself, taking solace in the world of academics. She meets Rajiv at her mom’s party in circumstances that force her to hold him at knifepoint. Sparks fly, leaving a lasting impression on both. She goes to Dubai for her PhD and interns under her mentor, and to her shock, at none other than Rajiv’s company. This book, including the characters, plotline, and the fact that Sapna wrote it, was truly perfect! I never expected to enjoy a romance novel by an Indian author this much.
Rajiv is such a fine character, and Sheena is a badass who goes to great lengths to protect Rajiv and the people she loves.
Have you ever finished a book and then immediately missed the characters so much that it hurts? That's what happened to me after finishing this book! I miss their banter, Rajiv's possessiveness, Sheena's friendship with Raashi and Keya – basically everything about the book.
I hope we get to see Rajiv and Sheena in Addiction (next in the series) 🩵
Rating: 4.75 – I highly recommend it!

I was eager to know about Sheena and Rajiv’s history. This prequel links effortlessly to the other books in the series. The author has created a world where each character is unforgettable. Rajiv and Sheena feel every emotion intensely and that makes their chemistry explosive. A gorgeous book celebrating love, loyalty and desire.

This is a prequel to the Sehgal family and friends saga and is the story of how Sheena Sehgal met Rajiv Mehta and the Book 1 Fatal Attraction series.
As with all of Bhog’s other books, there is always an element of magic, destiny and instalove in her books and this one stays with the trope.
Sheena Sehgal, or as the media calls her, Sehgal Princess, is stuck in a rut. She is recovering from an incident that has stopped her from doing what she’d planned to do with her life. So her grandfather Janak Sehgal, a wise matchmaker and her two best friends Kiya and Raashi, encourage her to go to Dubai to finish her PhD.
Only trouble is Rajiv Mehta, a flamboyant playboy, who Sheena met sneaking into her house during a power cut while he was visiting Mumbai, is based in Dubai. And it was obvious their path would cross.
Sheena is finally herself while working for Rajiv Mehta at Poseidon Shipping, in a place where her past hasn’t followed her and the media and gossip doesn’t govern her life.
Despite himself, Rajiv Mehta starts to fall for the honest, direct speaking, sassy Sehgal Princess and does everything he can to stay away from the temptation. Because Rajiv has made a promise to his closest friends, the Rajpoots from the Band of Brother series.

I’ve read all of Bhog’s contemporary romances and the scenes, dialogue and characters are well developed and there is a lot of heat. So if you don’t like spicy I would steer clear.

Temptation is about Sehgal princess "Sheena Sehgal" and rumoured playboy "Rajiv Mehra", their love and chemistry. I loved them from their very first meeting..uff what a perfect dramatic first meet!🔥. Sheena is a badass, she is sexy, determined, brave, courageous, always standing for what's right. I loved how she found her confidence back and how truly she loved and understood Rajiv. Meanwhile, Rajiv Mehra is a sexy hunk!🥵🔥🌶️. He is a very intelligent, practical and a very protective guy. Be it his lover or his family and friends, he is always there for them and protects them no matter what, this nature of his makes him more charming!
I loved how both Sheena and Rajiv found love in the most unexpected places. Their relationship is full of drama, romance, wild and sensual 🌶️🌶️🌶️🔥🔥.
The author @sapna bhog has done an amazing job with her writing. She has become one of my favourite! I cannot stop myself from diving more into her writings, I already made a separate sapna bhog Tbr 🤓! With her simple and beautiful writing, she described every character, their emotions, their personality, And most importantly the relations. How supportive and forward each of the characters was! ❤️💓

I read Temptation as a read-along with my book club @bookworm.league buddies! It was chosen for the month of July.

ᴛᴇᴍᴘᴛᴀᴛɪᴏɴ by Sapna Bhog is an enchanting love story! The story is also about self-discovery, moving forward from the past, secrets, family and friendship!💓
Temptation is about Sehgal princess "Sheena Sehgal" and rumoured playboy "Rajiv Mehra", their love and chemistry. I loved them from their very first meeting..uff what a perfect dramatic first meet!🔥. Sheena is a badass, she is sexy, determined, brave, courageous, always standing for what's right. I loved how she found her confidence back and how truly she loved and understood Rajiv. Meanwhile, Rajiv Mehra is a sexy hunk!🥵🔥🌶️. He is a very intelligent, practical and a very protective guy. Be it his lover or his family and friends, he is always there for them and protects them no matter what, this nature of his makes him more charming!
I loved how both Sheena and Rajiv found love in the most unexpected places. Their relationship is full of drama, romance, wild and sensual 🌶️🌶️🌶️🔥🔥.
The author @sapna bhog has done an amazing job with her writing. She has become one of my favourite! I cannot stop myself from diving more into her writings, I already made a separate sapna bhog Tbr 🤓! With her simple and beautiful writing, she described every character, their emotions, their personality, And most importantly the relations. How supportive and forward each of the characters was! ❤️💓
I personally love where the lovers have a nickname! (* not the cringe nicknames) and these lines from the book have my heart! ❤️

Yet another masterpiece by Sapna

Sapna's book Temptation is a prequel to the series of Sehgalverse as well as Bond of Brothers series.
I was always curious about knowing Rajeev and Sheena's love story. And I am glad that finally this book came along and it came along so good.
Sheena, the Sehgal Princess who is witty and will go to any lengths to protect her loved ones. Be it involving herself in a physical fight or outsmart them with witty answers.
Rajeev Mehra, the strong and fierce protector who will not care about himself while protecting his friends and family from any kind of danger.
The story starts with Rajeev and Sheena meeting up in wierd situations where the fiery attraction is from both sides.
Their paths keep crossing until after one dinner, when they are candid to each other and release that having conversation with each other is not bad and they like each other's company.
While Rajeev cannot let her in in his world for protecting the Rajpoot siblings and his promise to marry Avantika Rajpoot, Sheena finds her way to Rajeev's heart and he cannot deny his feelings for her and decides to marry her.
We see characters coming in from Sehgalverse like Keya and Raashi and our beloved Janak, the mastermind behind Sheena and Rajeev's story (yet again)
We can now understand Rajeev's perspective to protect Rajpoot siblings and his bind with them.
Overall it was an interesting read with all my favourite characters in book making it a wonderful book fiesta for me to enjoy.
The story is woven beautifully. I loved the book!

Well well. This is a banger ! And that too it's written by an Indian Author? I love the set-up, her very supportive grandfather and mother, her brother Kabier ( overprotective brother!!!), her two best friends and also Rajiv's sisters, his family and the Rajpoots. Whatever happened to Sheena in her past was so brutal, she didn't deserve to be gossiped about. Rajiv despite being painted as the bad boy, is actually the most responsible and most humble person.
Their love story blossom in Dubai after Sheena had to work with Rajiv for her PhD. The banter, the angst is 🤌🏻🤌🏻
This book got me hooked from the beginning, and also some bollywood style drama and wedding is in it, how can I not love this book!!! 👀🤭💗💕
I'm already excited for the second book!!!

I finally got my hands on the book by Sapna Bhog, and I couldn't be happier! I've been looking forward to reading Rajeev's story for ages, and it's just as captivating as I hoped. I first fell in love with his character in the Rajpoot Siblings series, where he was this charming protector, and I was really wishing he'd get his own tale. Well, here it is!
Then there's Sheena Sehgal, the lovely Princess of the Sehgal family, who's been keeping a low profile ever since a terrible incident happened ten years ago. It's really sad to see how that affected her confidence and her once-bold spirit.
The way Rajeev and Sheena met is both unexpected and hilarious, and their chemistry is off the charts! I adored their playful banter and how they bring out the best in each other.
Rajeev's bond with the Rajpoot family is amazing. I love how dedicated he is to his duty and the care he shows for his people.
Janak Sehgal has rocked again. His way of meddling in his grandchildren's life is cute and adorable. He is the cutest grandfather one could have.
I am looking forward to reading about Oshnov Brothers and their women. Because these three are just incorrigible.

Just finished reading Temptation by Sapna Bhog and I can’t stop thinking about Rajeev and Sheena!
Their story is such a beautiful mix of slow-burn romance, playful banter, and emotional depth. From the very beginning, Sheena stood out with her fierce independence and strong will, and Rajeev—oh, Rajeev—was the perfect balance of calm confidence and quiet intensity. The way their relationship shifted from tension to trust felt so natural and satisfying.
Every encounter between them was laced with charm and chemistry, and I loved how their love story wasn’t rushed. It unfolded with time, emotion, and little moments that made a big impact.
And of course, Janak added such a comforting presence to the story—like the grounding warmth you didn’t know you needed.
Temptation sets the tone for a gripping series full of love, family, secrets, and that classic Sapna Bhog flair. I’m already excited to see how the other stories unfold—especially Kabier and Keya’s!

Argh. This author is so good. I was drawn into this story from the very first page. This book gave me all the feels, from laughing one moment to wrapping it up really nice with some swoony moments thrown in between.

I felt so involved with the characters in this book as it felt so real. The female protagonist is just perfect. She's feisty, sweet, supportive and most importantly she never bows down. And every time Rajiv calls her princess my heart melts right away!! I adored them both as a couple and i crossed my fingers as they fight through their troubles. I love the interactions between Sheena and her brother. I was fully engrossed in the storyline. This book was like a movie playing over and over in my head.

First of all, the storyline had a potential to turn into something really interesting but it wasn’t executed properly. It wasn’t executed at all. It was enemies to friends to lovers but it was more like insta-lust. That lust continues, the story gets cringy and then even more cringy with subplots & other characters stories written in lengthy details.
The MMC knows he’s gonna marry someone. Someone who he has been proposing to for seven years. Still he doesn’t stay away from FMC. FMC has no personality other than an incident that happened 10 years ago. She also dumb because she falls for him very quickly and her thinking is very easily influenced by other people in her life. These two didn’t have any deep connection. No meaningful conversations, no special moments. Nothing.
I only read this book till 84% because I wanted to see what would happen when Rajiv proposed to Avantika and what all would happen with Sheena but it was all disappointing.

FMC has no personality other than an incident that happened 10 years ago. She also dumb because she falls for him very quickly and her thinking is very easily influenced by other people in her life. These two didn’t have any deep connection. No meaningful conversations, no special moments. Nothing.
I only read this book till 84% because I wanted to see what would happen when Rajiv proposed to Avantika and what all would happen with Sheena but it was all disappointing.

Holy shittttt I was not expecting this book to be that good ?!!!!
I usually avoid Indian romances but I still gave this book a read and even though it was in 3rd pov, it had me hooked from the end of it’s prologue and left me with so many questions and as I kept on reading (it was really addicting and the banter omg) I couldn’t help but feel the tension and giggle at the banter scenes.
Both Rajiv and Sheena were hot and playing with fire, the chemistry was off the charts, the spice oooooo laaa laaaaa 🥵🥵🌶🔥, the enemies to lovers part with knife to the throat vibe and billionaire romance made this book a 4.5 🌟 for me.
There were certain scenes where the story went meh but the couple’s scenes had me hooked.
I’m so excited for the 2nd book in the series - Addiction 😍😍

Hands down one of the best of the seghalverse from Sapna. I have often wondered about Sheena and her whole dynamics between the Rajpoots and hell its what i anticipated. I saw the glimpse of in the last Bond of Brothers Book where Sheena and Avi has a serious conversation in a Ladies room. OMG..
I was really really curious about Rajiv and Sheena's story as their engagement announcement and the following wedding did prove a backdrop for Kabier and Keya's story. This is one hell of a whirlwind story i waited for and its worth the wait...
The way Rajiv calls her PRINCESS.. I simply melted

First of thank you for sending me a copy of Temptation. It was the first book I read by the author and I absolutely loved it.
The enemies-to-lovers part kept me hooked from the start. The character development was so well executed. I loved the friendship that the girl shared. It reminded me of my own girl's gang. The constant banter was everything. I loved each part of the book.
I love a good possessive MMC and Rajiv was it. Say Hello to my new book bf ladies and gentlemen. I am always a sucker for strong FMC and Sheena was well one of the best, she's bold, sassy and a total badass girl.

I started the book randomly as I was searching for a book to read and i stumbled upon this book. I was skeptical at the beginning but as I flowed through the book the reading felt easy and i enjoyed it. I loved the banter between sheena and rajiv. I liked how both male and female character maintained good relationship with family and friends. I'm excited to read books about other couples as well. If ur looking for a romance series which or if u want to read some standalone stories of the same world i think this series is worth giving it a try.
PS: The book is from third pov so be mindful of that. I'm used to reading romance books from their pov so it felt a lil bit new for me.

For the readers of NA romance, here comes a book with a swoon-worthy cast of characters, brave female protagonists, overbearing brothers, unexpected plot twists, entertaining banter, bomb chemistry, and tender moments; the tale of Sheena and Rajiv will surely hit you in all the feels 💕.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and can't wait for the next book 'Addiction', which will be more explosive if the first book was an indication

enemies to lovers trope with Indian feels? okay i love this trope and getting to read this so much drama was so hilarious (in a good way!)
I loved how they met and each other and despite secrets they hold, the pushing each other factor always persists.
the unapologetic nature if Sheena is amazing!! even though she is being criticized for everything, still she is fearless.
basically if you love a billionaire romance you must give this one a read!!
