It's 4.5.The book was nice and I have read better.Something seemed way too familiar with this book but it wasn't bad.The problem is that I have already seen the I want to have something more with the boss or I love(or until he admites it I'm attracted to her)my brothers fiance or I don't do relationship stuff. The good thing is that it was all very well put together and the book make me forget for a while all these cliches.

4 Stars! ~ T.V. chef Corri Harris wasn’t surprised to receive the Dear Corri letter from her fiancé Kevin O’Brien, but she was furious with his timing (ten minutes before live air) and his method. Corri knew her job was doomed, when her temper got the better of her near the end of the show, and she demonstrated her skill with a knife and a cucumber and announced to her audience that she’d been dumped. When station owner, Aidan O’Brien reads the letter he fully understands Corri’s anger but he isn’t sorry about the breakup. Though he’d been in a relationship at the time, he’s always regretted introducing Corri to his brother, Kevin, and now that they are no longer a couple and he is free, it means he has a shot with Corri. Only Corri doesn’t yet know the big networks are wooing her, and that’s why Aidan keeps things between them no-strings-attached. It seems that it’s always bad timing keeping them apart.

The attraction between Aidan and Corri had been strong for a long time, but they’d kept their relationship strictly as very good friends. Their chemistry sizzles, so it’s inevitable that they will become lovers. It doesn’t take long for friendship and lust to become much more. I really liked these two, and the chance to meet the amusing O’Brien clan again. This one too, reminds me of the Harlequin Temptation line; it’s fun and sexy. Ms. Gold is wonderful at creating fun scenes and some very poignant moments as well. Well worth the read

I can't decide whether to give this 3/4 stars. I'm somewhere in the middle TBH. But well, the book was just alright, so I guess its closer to a 3 than a 4.

This book was very fast-paced. Dialogue was rather witty and interesting. The plot was very predictable, the small conflict long predicted. Hmm, some parts of the plot didn't have the impact I was hoping for. Like, when she was avoiding him, it didn't really feel sad or anything. It was pretty normal.

Characters were interesting, if a bit typical. Aiden, the hot guy, loved his bro's girlfriend, Corrine? (they call her Corrie, I think), who was working for him. He was a producer, she was a chef who had her own show. Which was successful.

Heh, I really don't have much to say about this book. It was good, yes. But very short and it seemed like the whole book kept stressing on how hot he was, or how beautiful she was or about the sexual tension and how great their lovemaking was. I'm not complaining, but I did want to see a bit of them really in love.

All in all the book was just fine. Nothing special, but not bad either. It's good for a quick read! Wow, finally have a short review for a romance...

i did not like this one in the series any better! aidan was very obviously enamoured wid corri and i dunno what she was doing all this time wid kevin. but kevin wud have helped to add some spice to the story. so it was silly of the author to eliminate his presence right at the start of the story !
