Frankly, this story just didn’t gel for me. Too much one explaining and imo, Hope and Ezekiel didn’t have enough time together. They’re was no building of their relationship especially with take over plot added. This story definitely needed more pages. Enough for us to see a true break down of this world, growth of its characters and a plot that doesn’t convolute the romance.

ok I like it
The pain wasn’t as bad as the last time because she was changed. I did give her more of my blood because she didn’t know how to heal herself yet. It can happen on its own but again, she’s a brand-new hybrid so she assumed I had to do it until she could. Not wanting her in any pain, I just did it. The following day, Deray proposed to Tara over dinner and Ambrogio told me he got rid of everyone so I didn’t have to worry about anymore enemies. It was ashame to learn Rafael was working with Blade to try and do some takeover. I believe he told his mother which is why she gave me that box full of bullshit. Granted, there were photos of us as kids but nothing in there leading me to believe he was doing anything other than following Blade’s orders. Rafael was always scared of him and I blame myself at times because I couldn’t change him. If I had, he may have been able to stand up to Blade and be here today,

Could have been wayyyyy better!
The story was entertaining, like I liked the banter between Hope and her friend Tara - they were funny. Hope was one of those typical weak women who let her fake boyfriend run all over her and talk to her any kinda way - she was stupid for that. Ezekiel was ok but the author failed to properly describe characters so I had no idea what any of the characters looked like. Another thing that erked me was how the characters talking weren’t identified in text from person to person, so at times I didn’t know who the hell was talking. Lastly, the author definitely needed a better editor/proofreader/whatever! Too many instances of the wrong word choice was made or wait was used instead of weight ! Now, come on!!!

Enjoyable Urban Read
This is a steamy romance with action and drama. It's a fun and entertaining read, presenting in urban colloquialism. With a splash of horror, a spice of erotica, a bite of vampires, and urban fantasy, there's something for everyone.
What I loved was the characters. There were times I struggled to connect with them (I don't abide calling people bitch and such), but they charmed me nonetheless. Hope and Ezekiel become people I really liked and cared for. Their relationship kept me vested in the story.
As an editor,I struggled with the formatting. The subject of each paragraph was not well-defined, including who the pronoun reflected. The slang wasn't an issue, but the structure often pulled me from the story.
Overall, I think this was an enjoyable read. It's witty, action-packed, and raunchy in all the right ways. If you live a good vampire romance, you'll want to check this story out!

Amazing
The cover drew me in and once I started reading it, it wasn't what I had expected the more I read the more it captured my attention and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen. So happy things worked out for everyone just wish it was a little longer because the three friends feel in love so wish their stories could have been shared a little more but overall great love story.

Learning The Unknown Can Be Very Interesting To Say The Least
Tina J. I enjoyed this different read by you. I enjoyed the transformation of the girls. I also see it doesn't matter where you are in life jealousy, envy and unrest is seen in every life . Good Stuff
This was a good solid story,but I was hoping for a little more of the super natural and to see this couple interact in there new life. I also wanted to see the new parents with their kids. This was good solid storytelling, I just wanted a little more from the Dark Lord.

OUTSTANDING!!!!
What an outstanding read! I’m getting so hooked on these paranormal love stories! Ezekiel and Hope were a great pair! I was surprised Deray changed his mind about Tara! She is a handful! Marley was so bitter! I was fascinated by the vampires powers! Moving on to my next paranormal read!

Short and fast pace. I was able to read the series within 3 to 5 day span which includes the previous books. Kharis and Caleb 1&2 and Eva and Deray 1 & 2. So in total, there is five books for this series. They are all fast paced with spice, vampires, and different storylines. Looking for fast pace these will definitely do it for you.

Loved it
Blade was a low lown dirty vamp. He was a bully and got what he deserved. Marley was a smut and she should have been fed to the holy water. I don't know about Tara, she was not a woman you bring home. I would love a spin off of the kids to see what powers they have.

I absolutely loved this book. It had my attention from beginning to end. I loved reading about past characters and catching up on the family tree. Hopefully I will get to read more about Deray and Tara as well as Sasha and her boo!!!

This was different in a good way. I really liked to read about the vampires and how they lived. I don't think Hop expected any of this with Ezekiel. Great read can't wait to read what's next. We need a book on Deray and Tara.

I enjoyed reading this paranormal romance and wouldn't mind reading more by the author. It was laid out in a way that made the story build in excitement. There was an element of danger mixed with innocence that made it different.

Not gonna lie…
This was not as impressive as I had hoped it would be. I fell like the sex scenes were rushed and confusing but so was most of the scenes. Would have been nice for it to make more sense.
