As a child, Austea posed as the Sailor Moon. As a tween, she wanted to be a protagonist in one specific telenovela. And as a teen, she wished to love herself. Now, when she's a Sailor Moon in her head, telenovela's protagonist in her book, and with a heart filled with love for herself, she's a lady of tea and a mother of three endearing kitties writing about everything she finds intriguing: witches, dragons, enemies-to-lovers trope, soulmates, strong, admirable women, etc.

If you're also intrigued by these things, her books will not leave you disappointed.

Firsty, I wanna thank Austea E. Kette for providing me with an eARC for review.

This tale was so freaking gripping and so beautifully written. It is a sequel to the Anthem of the Cursed Empire and this story starts right from where it ended in the first book. It is pretty much a first paced book with so many twists and turns which made me hold my breath the whole time and I can assure you it was even more than the first one. I need to say that I am OB-SES-SSSSEEEDDD with this series and the world building.

After reading the last part of the first book, I was like I need more of Drayard & Elynn cause I was 100% obsessed (actually Idk what word to use but I was more than obsessed) with their banters (The banters are the best) and the way they were to each other. I am a sucker for ~ He would burn the world for her ~ trope, so it wasn't that much of a surprise to me that I love their relationship. It is also enemies to kinda lover type. And those two characters gave me some Jude & Cardan vibe.

This book gives a lot of ACOTAR vibe which is a good thing cause I rly love that series and at the end it kinda made me remember the Rule of Wolves series too.

After finishing this book, I was like how long do I need to wait for the next one. Can't I please get it now? Her writing has me in a spell. I need to know what happens next like I need my next cup of coffee. More importantly I need to know what happens to Drayard and Elynn's relationship next. I rly need them to get a happy ending. Please Austea, Pretty Please.

Oh, there's another thing. I must say that she writes great traumatised characters and she deals with trauma in the perfect way.I don't usually like how many writers deal with it but I loved the way she did it.

This book has some great character developments. We got to see Elynn's cleverness and..... Now, I am totally swooning over Drayard. You know, you can't blame me. How com I not love him, he's the beast, (Ahem!) I mean the BLOODSUCKER. So, seeeee, it totally makes sense that I found myself a new book bf.

Lastly, I wanna say that if you love ACOTAR or a book with tortured love interest, or he would burn the world for her trope, or even just a book that has great character then please give this book a try. Try this series, if you are just interested in a fantasy book with
~ dragons
~ shapeshifters
~ fated mate
~ he would burn the world for her
~ she's attracted to him but hates him
~ curses
~ sorceress
~ witches
and obviously to only experience a whole new empire. Who knows, you might enjoy it.

P.S. I need a publication date for the third book.

Lullaby Of The Lost Princess
By @austea.kette

This is book one in the series, book one "Anthem of The Cursed Empire" is available to buy now :)

This series has everything I like in my books. Enemies to... Maybe lovers? Push pull tension of love and hate, Soul mates, kingdoms, royalty and politics but for some reason I just can't connect well with it. I think it's written extremely well and the plot points and story are all great and well executed.
Maybe it's just me, you should definitely try this book for yourself if you like books like ACOTAR.

The one thing I will never ever stop raving about is that Austea writes trauma SO well.
There is mention of r*pe in both books (I don't think the books have trigger warnings but they should for this!) but I connected with Elynn most of all in her moments of trauma. I think it was well executed and Austea did well not to just dismiss it once she had suffered. It's an on going thing and something that doesn't just go away over night. It's one of the best written trauma stories I've read and this is the reason my stars were bumped up.
Honestly for me I just didn't connect with the LOVE part of the story. It is complicated for many reasons but I just wasn't feeling the love between them in all honesty and think they would be better on their own.
I quite liked the ending. Elynn is more clever than Dray gave her credit for and more devious and manipulative.
Again, definitely pick this up if you love ACOTAR as it has similar vibes but with so many twists.
Baby and Blossom forever

First of all, I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Lullaby of the Lost Princess picks up right where the first book left us. I found that I liked it better than the first book in terms of writing style. The quality of the writing is better, and there are less grammatical/syntactic errors. It is still obvious that the writer is not a native English speaker from some of the phrasing. That did bother me at first, but I got used to it quickly because I liked the story.
The first book really captured my attention, entranced me in a way that made it hard for me to put it down, so I finished it very quickly. The second book was the opposite. I had a hard time getting immersed in the story, and had to "force" myself to read and finish it.
This second book is centered more on the main characters' relationship than the first, and I felt less character development. Overall, the story felt a little too condensed (too many things happening too fast), and at the same time I felt as though the book was too long. I think it would've been better to split it into two books, while including more character development.
I do think this is a book worth reading, especially if you liked the first and want to know what happens to the characters next. There is room for improvement, but this is a promising start for the author's writing career, and I will be looking forward to their next book !

I struggle to find words to describe this book other than I was on the edge of my seat and holding my breath at times while reading I didn’t even notice! Exceptionally written book with so many twists and turns in the plot it is hard to keep up- but in the best way! I typically am cautious when reading a sequel as it can be hard to compare to the first book, but both were absolutely on par with each-other. The character development especially from Drayard compelled me and brought my mind to ideas and scenarios I never would have typically thought of. Austea has absolutely outdone herself and is by far one of the most amazing novels I have ever read. Thank you for creating this realm. Thank you for the sleepless nights because I couldn’t put the book down. Thank you for writing. Could not recommend this book more, or this author.

Oh my, what a trip that was. To start it off with, I want the the next book. And like now please.

I was obsessed with the first book, and my obsession grew even further with this book. The second book of a series can be amazing, or a big let down. This was definitely amazing, even more than that.

It took yet again, so many twists and turns I was suprised I could follow it. And then there was another turn, which made the reasonings behind actions so much more clear. But at the end, it didn’t. Ofcourse not. But those decisions will (hopefully) be explained in the next book. Which I can’t wait for. Did I mention that already?

The characters had some real personal growth, in the good and bad way. The proces of trusting people, and having that trust broken. But isn’t that what life is about? People change when certain changing life events happen. Austea did a wonderful job portraying that in this book yet again.

P.s. I’m still rooting for Drayard, because who doesn’t love themself a bloodsucker. I for sure do!

Well… I really liked the first book ( Anthem of the Cursed Empire), but I really freakin loved this one.
I finished this book at 5am, and let me tell you this: I couldn’t sleep. Now all I can think of is : How long do I have to wait for the next book?
I’m a sucker for the Bloodsucker. There were times I was angry with him, angry with Elynn. But I love them.
If I’m being honest, I did not expected an ending like this.
The Epilogue? I refuse it to be true. I just can’t. The twist? Ahh..
I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens next. At this moment, I don’t even know what to expect, but I want the Bloodsucker back!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The world-building was captivating, and the characters were extremely well-developed. The plot had its twists and turns, keeping me engaged throughout and their emotions wer easily understandable, it really makes you feel like they do. While I found it very enjoyable, there were a few moments where I wished for a bit more explanation in certain aspects of the story. Overall, a must read, as well as anthem of the cursed empire.

I was not prepared for the amount of plot twists this sequel had! The first book kept me engaged the entire read but this one had me jaw droppingly shocked throughout the whole thing! The spicy suspense and the trickery was phenomenal. I would read anything by this author, this book was a 10/10.

Like the first book in this series, it has some sentences that seem a bit off but overall it was very well written. It has some interesting character development and unexpected twists. When I finished the book I just wasn't ready and wanted the story to continue. Hopefully there will be a third book coming out in the future as I'm curious to learn more about certain characters and what happens next!

Funny thing is that, unlike with Anthem of the Cursed Empire, I have almost no recollection of how I wrote the sequel, let alone rewrote it. Yet, it turned out to be better than the first book, in my opinion?

The focus of Anthem of the Cursed Empire is on Elynn adjusting to a new world and forming relationships, whereas the sequel has more romance. If you have read the first book, there's a third part of the book where Elynn and Drayard hang out together, and if you liked that part, imagine even more of that. Yes, Lullaby of the Lost Princess prioritises Elynn and Drayard's relationship, and yet, it's not only about them.

Although I love this book a bit more than the first one, the third one is going to be something else. The story is in the process of being rewritten, but I already can't wait for you to read it.

There will be four books in the series, and trust me when I say you're not ready for the ending because I'm certainly not.

Thank you for reading & reviewing!
