An Easter Bunny spicy romance was not on my 2026 bingo card, and yet here we are. I read this purely for science… and because it was free. Mostly the free part.

So what did my highly professional research uncover? Well, buried beneath the chaotic mix of Easter bunnies, fallen angels, and writing that occasionally feels like it sprinted past a proofreading session, there’s actually a romance I didn’t hate. Shocking I know. At its core, it’s a pretty familiar story about acceptance and self love, something I’ve seen done many times before, just… usually without a humanoid man covered in silver fur and floppy ears.

The plot? Abby can see fallen angels, which being human she very much should not be able to do. Enter Pascale… who is, yes, the Easter Bunny. Not an Easter bunny. The Easter Bunny. Naturally, they’re instantly drawn to each other because *surprise* they're fated mates. He’s busy prepping for Easter, she’s trying to process the fact she’s attracted to a magical rabbit man, and I’m just here preparing to wildly accept it all.

Was it as bad as I expected? Yes… but also no? It’s clumsy, it’s rushed, it leans heavily into Insta love, and yet it somehow ticks the exact boxes you’d expect from a short paranormal romance. In fact, there were moments I genuinely forgot the male lead was, you know, the Easter Bunny. Which is both impressive and deeply concerning.

That said, I did appreciate the reminders. Not just to keep me grounded in this bizarre reality, but also because strangely it gave me a weird sense of Easter cheer. Reading bunny based smut actually made me embrace Easter. What a time to be alive.

Now, my biggest complaint (and I say this knowing I will be judged) is that I was robbed. Absolutely robbed. They waited until Pascale could fully control his shifter form before they had sex. And look, I’m not saying I needed it, but I was expecting to be at least mildly horrified and intrigued. Don’t act like you wouldn’t be curious too.

So, final verdict: not the worst thing I’ve ever read, but I did expect a bit more chaos for my trouble. Entertaining? Sure. Life changing? No. Will I ever look at The Easter Bunny in the same way again? Also no… but I'm still planning on eating my fair share of chocolate bunnies anyway.

Just like Easter, this book was a breath of fresh Spring air. It was such a delight to learn how the Easter Bunny and his team lived and made Easter happen each year. I thought it was a genius idea to have Pascale unable to shift from his Easter Bunny form to human until after Easter. It not only addressed the shifter issue right away but allowed them the time to fall in love with each other's souls and boy did they fall!

I was thrilled that Abby being a magical being allowed her to accept the Easter Bunny so readily and the Angel Network that was Abby's family was fascinating in how it worked to save fallen angels. I especially loved how the fallen angels that they had saved helped Abby's family when they needed it the most.

The cupids were an extra treat and Amery and Val were the best friends that Abby and Pascale could hope for as confidants. They never judged, always took their feelings into consideration and supported them all the way. I was so excited to find out that they have their own story in Cupid's love so I'll definitely be reading that next. Thank you for writing such a fun and wonderful story and here's hoping that the Angel Network gives us a whole new slew of stories! ❤️❤️❤️

Setting the shifter issues aside…. I had so many unanswered questions….Why can’t she see his bunny peen? Why do the bunnies give chocolate at Easter? Where do they get their electricity? How do they deliver all the baskets? Is the Easter Bunny like Santa Clause and does the entire world on one night? But without reindeer or some other magical beast? Where did the shifter rabbits get all their money? If they life in secret how do they get chocolate deliveries? There’s almost no sex in this book… so do they really go at it like bunnies? Why are so many angles falling? And on and on and on. …

The cover made it look like it was going to be a lot more spicy than it was (still a couple scenes, fair I guess for a shorter book), buff bunny on the cover just makes me giggle, tickles my funny bone. Fun quick lightly smutty instalove Easter read...with an Easter Bunny shifter! Is the final book in a four book series, but I had no trouble reading it as a standalone.

unusual story

I enjoy the storyline in the magical tale of fantasies. However, I did not enjoy the foul language and erotic sex.
I’ll be honest, I did not read the entire story. I just skipped to the very end.

Too cute

I love this story! I never imagined the Easter bunny as huge hunk. The mix in with the side angel story was cute. Very entertaining especially for the holiday.
