Super practical book to sift through and come up with ideas for logos. Who knew that the easiest way to create a logo is to work off of Zapf dingbat font? Simply take parts of each dingbat apart, add a background, modify, finish with a name, and boom— there’s your logo.

Highly visual book with examples of good and bad next to each other.

I read thru p.102 prior before having to return book to public library

I love how John McWade breaks it all down to the basics. Once you have the basics taken care of in your design the creativity can blossom.

I learned how to design with the magazine series McWade did in the early 90s. Excellent tutorials.
