This sequel to Double Cross focuses on the other twin sister, Elle, who was separated from Samantha as a toddler when their parents were killed. Samantha, a CIA agent, has uncovered information linking their parents' deaths to the theft of a biological agent from a Soviet lab, sending Russian agent Elle after the arms dealer responsible.

There is plenty of action packed into the novel, from a speedboat chase in Amsterdam to an explosive climax on the ocean off the coast of Greece. Elle also finds herself falling for the mysterious Joachim, an enforcer for a German underworld figure whose path keeps crossing with the beautiful SVR agent.

This is a good summer day in the backyard novel, I found myself caring for the characters and what was going to happen next. Recommended.
