When asked by fellow KSATM book club member if I had a Christmas-themed suggestion for the month of December, the November 4th release of “Christmas with a Bang” came immediately to mind. This book by Halifax author Deanna Foster contains two novellas that are described by the author as Hallmark meets Die Hard. Now who can resist a declaration like that? Obviously, not my fellow KSATM book club member who must have started it as soon as soon as she downloaded it. So instead of waiting until December, I too moved this title to the top of my TBR list and I dug right in.
Neither of these fast-paced novellas will have you relaxing and daydreaming about making plans to decorate cookies and drink hot chocolate over the holidays. Instead, you will be kept at the edge of your seat, glued to the pages to find out what happens next. The author was spot on in her description of her novellas and fans and those who believe Die Hard is a Christmas movie will be absolutely thrilled with these stories.

This book was easily enjoyable, making it difficult to put the book down. The plot was interesting with chunks of action and some spiciness sprinkled in. Loved it!!!
