"If Michael Crichton and F. Paul Wilson had a collaboration, this is what it would look like! An excellent mix of science, action, and political intrigue." - Larry Correia, New York Times bestselling author
"Rothman's stories are a roller coaster of action, science, and thriller all rolled into one. You won't be disappointed!" - Kevin J. Anderson, New York Times bestselling author
"Steve Diamond is not just a writer to watch ... he's a writer to read!" - Robert McCammon, New York Times bestselling author
USA TODAY bestselling author, M.A. Rothman, is one of the most unlikely novelists you'll ever meet. He's an engineer first and foremost, with a background in the sciences, and somehow or another, this writing habit of his has turned into a bit more than just a run-of-the-mill hobby.
He primarily writes stories that focus on two things: technology and international intrigue. This writing tends to span the genres of science fiction, techno-thriller, and mainstream thrillers.
When not writing, he enjoys cooking, learning about new technology, travel, and spending time with his family.
This is a story I didn't think I'd enjoy. It centers on another Yoder girl and her fiance going to China and finding trouble. Then, we find Olivia's mission from the last book was not the success we thought it wad. And it has zombies. I don't care about zombies. But, Roth an and Drummond do a good turn on them. The idea of they use harkens back to the early stories from Haiti, which helped. The writing is a bit , which I attribute to having two authors. That said, it took me two bedtime reasons to read the story. I didn't want to get sucked in, I wanted to dislike this story, but I enjoyed it, which says a lot about the author's skill. You cannot ask for more from an author.
Well written, well laid out, without major distraction. Which is saying something when the start was multiversal and a blend of a series that has a super secret mystery organization and a deep background of super science or sorcery. Highly entertaining, highly recommended. Wonder if they thought of doing a series on Narmer through the ages?
Mr. Rothman writes gripping action novels with fascinating scientific details that enhance the story without distracting from the action. His work is fun, entertaining, and you feel a little smarter after reading it.
Just the right amount of an edge to make most anything possible. Extreme evil and and not so far fetched event that could become a reality at any day is put down by our Alicia.
This story sounds too believable. After what happened with Covid, this could actually happen. Or maybe it’s in the process. Having biological experiments go wrong is in our future, whether it’s here, China or somewhere else.
Excellently written fast moving answer to biological terror!
Hard to put down. The above headline says it all! Keep up the good work. I’ll be looking forward to reading the next installment of Alicia's efforts to 'make the world a better place.'
Short reads which is nice. Makes it easier for me to keep track of plots. I think I prefer the Levi series a little more. The cat is fun. Not as fun as Dean Koontz dogs but still fun.
A secret agent action story that moves quickly. Great for the pool side or an airplane ride. Alecia roughs out her agent skills, gets a cat, and saves the day.
