As the ramifications of the Titans’ battle with Starro reverberate across the globe, Metropolis is hit with an unexpected surge of electricity from…is that-? No. It can’t be. Livewire? BUT SHE’S A-A-okay you’re going to have to read this one to believe it. Meanwhile, Supergirl and Dreamer take on the terror of the Flamebird, Power Girl is no longer, and amid the chaos a threat continues to grow on the horizon. All signs point to a major new shift in the world of Superman in Beast World Metropolis!
PSA: Story #2 takes place after Beast World #3 and story #3 takes place after BW#2. Why this has been released before those two issues is a mystery to me.
So this wasn't as terrible as Waller Rising but it was still pretty confusing. Thank god I at least know who Jon Kent is.
Once again, obscure characters running around doing things that seem unrelated to the main story. This feels more like a Lazarus Planet story that got rescued from the cutting room floor.
At least there was a coherent story here but it still felt pointless and messy. Artwork was okay but hard to make out in places.
I like this main character but she's new to me so I've got no idea what's going on with her.
Another disappointment in the BW run; PLEASE don't let this run be as terrible as LP.
3 side stories, none really useful to the event main title. A story that takes place after Beast World #2, a second after #3 and then back to #2 for the last one. The last one is mostly a teaser for a story line that will come in Superman and Action Comics titles, that was already teased a few months ago in one of those titles. As if reading comics was not a maze already... Zero added value for $6.
