Titaia.

After 10 years of hiding, Titaia is finally ready to take her crown back. King Heptus and Queen Alhma have performed a terrifying ritual, General Zelu is dead, and the fear that once held her back has been replaced with a burning desire for freedom and revenge. When Titaia reaches Doumland she is met with jaw-dropping surprises, steamy hot moments, and shocking betrayals. Her role as Queen was contested because of the elf assassin by her side and the Kingdom she once resided in. She continuously proves herself by fighting for the people and staying back with the families, but it never seems to be enough. Does Titaia have what it takes to save her people and the Realm while growing in her feelings for Aife?

Aife.

Joyce and Zelu are gone, and Titaia and Katrina are missing. Aife has abandoned her assassin’s cloak and instead forged her path beside the rightful Phoenix Queen of Fursomerra. Her intentions are continuously questioned by those that her Queen is expected to trust and Aife’s patience wears thin. Is she going to become the blade of a new royal or is the Phoenix going to help her forge a new path? With something so important to fight for will she be able to avoid her self-destructive tendencies or will her willingness for sacrifice go too far?

5⭐️ - Epic!! Love, war, tragedy, victory and loss. It’s all there.

The pace is thrilling and never stagnates and the characters have a beautiful diversity to them, all coming together to fight for their freedom, retribution, and hint of altruistic equality. How can you not be cheering for them?

But nothing is for free and all great gains come at a cost … I won’t give anything away, but will admit that I lost more than a couple tears before reaching the end. Oh and did I mention that there are some spicey scenes that require a reader to have a cold glass of water within reach?!?! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

But this is quintessential Epic Fantasy writing - I loved it, recommend it, and will probably read these two books again!

Ok, I’m hooked! Is there a book 3 coming soon?

This series is 1 of the best i've read in a good while. If possible book 2 was even better than the 1st. The MC's are crazy good on their own but together, OMG! There where soke really good side characters this time too.
Right so now I have to mention that ending. Adriana Sargent how bloody could you! I've not been so shattered since Samantha Shannon stole my HEA in Priory of the Orange Tree. Which i'm still not over lol. The fact it was done in such awesome style will however lead to eventual forgiveness.
Well played Adriana Sargent, take a bow, stellar work everyone should read.

I read the first book as an ARC, and now this as an ARC as well. I loved this book! It had the perfect amount of spice per content. The fantasy and continued world building was beautiful, and the characters grew so much. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed the story and the emotional rollercoaster that I went on while reading this book. I said to a friend after finishing, 'how am I supposed to move on'. From beginning to end, Adriana takes you on a wild ride that is completely worth every minute.

I loved this book, it is a perfect follow up to Vol one and I can not wait for vol three. There isn't much I can say without giving spoilers but I cried so much for our girls, for the hurt and betrayal Aifi goes through and we are not going to talk about why Titaia made me cry. For anyone worried about the spice, it was amazing, well written and full of emotion and there are several scenes. Also Angus is back and I love him. Also...apples. I can not wait for book 3

Five stars for sure! Adriana never misses, and this is no exception

As much as I loved Volume 1, Volume 2 takes the cake for me. The pacing is great, the build from volume 1 paid off in full, and the worldbuilding and character setups paid off in spades. I genuinely can’t recommend this highly enough and am so excited for book 3!

The ending left me speechless and I need 5-7 business days to recover, but the ending also saved the whole book (bc that was..something). However, I can’t stop thinking about Aife

Such a good follow-up to the first. Love the character development. The ending had me throwing the book, though.... I can't wait to read the next book.
