This book by author Kristen Smith is a thoughtful and fervent piece of writing about the love mankind receives from God, and how we can improve our lives with the intent of growing towards this love. Through recalling Bible stories, interpreting verses and recounting tales from her own experience, Smith builds a vivid picture of the love of Jesus, his example, and why he is so worthy of our devotion. This centred account of life challenges and faith lessons is an excellent reminder to make the most of our gifts from God, to develop a better understanding of what it means to love, and to push ourselves so that we may find a fuller relationship with Christ, and a deeper satisfaction. Although the world may test us, this relationship, and our faith, will set us right.
