The idea for people like teachers and businessmen in particular who normally use Microsoft Powerpoint to do presentations and slideshows, this them more options. This is very much an up and coming technology. Because you aren't constrained by the limitations of what you can draw in Powerpoint and also the limitations of static images in the form of slides. Prezi is online and has many templates to enable you to do a job and allows you to use animation as well as the many open source graphics many users have produced. Also if you produce a work of art you can save it and re use it. Many people draw pictures in programs like Adobe Illustrator or Smartdraw both of which it's compatible with. You can also post your work on the internet which is encouraged and it's compatible with many sites like blogs, social media & especially sites like twitter and facebook. A normal user can get a free account which gives them 100 MB of storage and watermarks their work but works otherwise. There is a normal account priced at $59 per year which gives them 500 MB of storage and obviously removes the watermark. There are also specially priced charity organisation and education accounts which are either free or paid but superior to a comparable business account in terms of cost. I think this looks like an interesting website which I may very well sign up to. There is also a useful site at http://jingproject.com where they have a tool that helps you capture what is on the screen and may prove useful in producing slides as well as a site at http://wordle.com where they display word art you can reuse. I really enjoyed reading this book which even has a section on the psychology of selling for those doing presentations to sell stuff.

A good introduction to Prezi if you've never used it. The book could have been 1/2 as long, as the author repeated herself A LOT.
