Gianna Raven was the definition of what it meant to be a good girl. She never cursed. She never cheated and she certainly would never be on Santa's naughty list. When she catches her boyfriend of six months cheating on her with her sister, not only does she curse like a sailor, she decides being a 'good girl' was overrated and it was time for her to embrace the naughty side to her. Drunk, emotional and just plain tired, she writes a lengthy letter to Santa, asking him for the man of her dreams to not only sweep her off her feet but to fuck her to sleep as well. It was a fool proof plan only the letter didn't make it to Santa instead it landed on her boss's desk.
Ho! Ho! Hoe!, Book 1 of the Raven & Thorne duet, was about 35-year-old Nikolai Thorne, the CEO of Thorne International, and 24-year-old Gianna "Gia" Raven, his personal assistant.
As it was the weekend, Gianna went to her boyfriend's apartment, but instead of him greeting her at the door, she found him in bed with her older sister, Crystal, the one person who had made her life a living hell growing up. Rather than scream, cry, or throw a fit, Gianna recorded their voices, confronted them calmly, and then told her sister she was dead to her. Having returned home, she went through the motions of responding to Carter's text by telling him she was done with him, followed by blocking him, and then got drunk before writing a letter to Santa Claus asking for her ideal man. What she didn't know was that her letter to Santa had inadvertently ended up being sent to Nikolai, who also happened to be the estranged older half-brother of her now ex-boyfriend.
When she saw Nikolai at work the following Monday, she was embarrassed to find that he had not only received the letter to Santa, but he had read it as well...and he told her he was the only person who could fulfill her requests.
This was an interesting story, mainly because it was all about a revenge plot that was pretty damn epic. Unfortunately, the way the book ended proved that it was cliffhangerish and won't be complete until the second book has been read.
Both main characters were fully developed and mature, while at the same time, they both knew that communication was a must for a relationship to work, which is unusual for this type of story. However, it was pretty interesting to read how these two main characters worked together like a well-oiled machine.
I gave this a three-and-a-half star rating, rounded up to four, only because I didn't like it being a cliffhanger-type story. Oh well, on to the second part.
Honestly it felt like a whattpad book kinda. How did Gia and Nikolai go from boss/assistant to dirty talking and inappropriate touching in less than 2 days? Like I get that it’s a novella but come onnnnn. It felt kinda forced?
Summary SPOILERSSSSSS
Gia is Kai’s assistant. He’s had a crush on her since the beginning and so has she but she gets with his estranged brother a little bit after she starts working for Kai. Gia catches Carter cheating on her with her sister. She gets drunk and sends her boss a letter meant for Santa to give her a man in the streets and the sheets. Kai gets the letter and they get together pretty much immediately.
The whole drama with her parents???? I swear I read another book with that EXACT SAME PLOT!!!! I just can’t remember. Basically, her mom didn’t want another kid but her dad said “we have another kid or we divorce” and she didn’t want that because they have a prenup. So they have another kid but the mom hates Gia from the beginning and mistreats her.

Ho! Ho! Hoe! Is totally HOt… from the very beginning, you find just how to approach a hostile situation and the story ends in vindication. Like a BOSS, this book shows you how not to lower yourself to a level beneath you.
The chemistry between Kai and Gia is completely spicy and completely steamy worthy…
This is actually the first time I’ve ever read anything from this author AND DEFINITELY won’t be the last.

Gianna isn't lucky with love right now. She had a cheating boyfriend, a nasty sister and now she is a scorned woman with score to settle. With one empty wine bottle, one written drunk letter to Santa about what a "good girl deserves". What's the worst that can happen with one naughty Santa letter floating around and a sexy boss finding it???? Join the story to see can a good girl get revenge on the ones that wrong her and get the sexy alpha boss all to herself for Christmas??? Enjoy 🥰.

Gianna has always been the good girl that is until she went to her boyfriend's place and caught him in bed with her sister. Furious she plotted the perfect plan to show everyone just what her sister and mother who always sided with Crystal is like. This thrilling story is packed with emotional drama and sizzling details that kept me glued to the pages from start to finish.

Cheating on someone with a sibling is nasty. I'm not talking about dating siblings. To intentionally go out of your way to destroy your sibling is a level of mean that I don't want to know. Seriously glad that Kai was there for her and had no F's to give to his father and brother. Good story but needed more to be complete.
It was fast pace story. Good just kinda wanted more pain for the nasty sister and ex. Oh let’s not forget dear ole mom she trash too lol.Gotta check out the next book to see what her trifling No good sister is up to and oh let’s not forget the ex 🫠 hope they get what they deserve.

I enjoyed this quick read. Yes there were a few grammar errors but other than that I enjoyed watching Gia take on her family with their hatred for her. And to have her boss, who always had a crush on her stand by her side through it all. Especially knowing he was her ex’s older brother. Worth the read.
Ho! Ho! Hoe! Book 1 of Raven & Thorne Leigh Stevens
I really enjoyed the story and characters. My only complaint is that it just ends. I actually wondered if I had the whole book until I started the next book. Still a great story.
If you want a quick read where the fmc is strong and stands up for herself then this is definitely the book for you 👌 And the spice 🥵🥵 wow the spice was top tier in my humble opinion
When her douchebag boyfriend cheats with her spoiled narcissistic sister our good heroine gets drunk and writes a letter to Santa asking for one thing. A man in the streets and a freak in the sheets. She just didn’t envision it being her boss and exes big brother
Whoa!! When they say bad girls have more fun, they mean it! I like that even though Gianna was going through it, her writing a letter to Santa was my favorite part!
No, just, no. My eyes did not deserve this torture. I don't like to DNF just in case it gets better and it only got worse. The MCs were so cringe. I know it is a novella but it's real cringe.
