I like the concept, but I’m afraid it’s just not very interesting. The whole series seems to be some soldiers getting surprised by a monster and running away, and no matter how many get killed in each encounter, their numbers are always replenished for the next beastie to take a bite out of. The constant internal monologue of the main character whining about how he feels so bad for his everlasting men, and how he’s unsure about whether he’s in hell or not was distracting too. Overall, it wasn’t absolutely terrible, but it was plain boring.

One of the best Kong stories I have read. Fits in nicely with any of the continuities you may perfer.
Set in WW1, soldiers get ship wrecked on Skull Island. Lots of great new monsters.
