I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book and it was definitely a quick, steamy read! I enjoyed the banter between Parker and Holly. First of all, what a dream fake dating scenario. Second of all the steam and the heat were WOW! Plus being able to see the chemistry and then the ebb and flow of emotions was very compelling. Definitely worth the read! Hot!

Desirable was a quick read, but an enjoyable one none the less. While the main trope was fake dating, I’d say it leans more towards miscommunication, as neither of the main characters communicated how they truly felt.

Having broken up with her boyfriend, Holly finds herself kissing a handsome stranger in a bar. Said handsome stranger happens to be billionaire Parker, who goes on to ask her to fake date him for several months in order to get his sister off his back.

The couple are great, and there is definite chemistry between both of them. In fact, the book is pretty much non-stop edging, as Parker has a dirty mouth, and they both try to fight their physical attraction before having some explosive, passionate sex. However, Parker is so used to being used by women for money that he self-sabotages and ends up hurting both himself and Holly, and Holly isn’t strong enough to just admit it’s Parker she wants, not his money. It’s all told from Holly's POV, so we never get to see Parker’s true thoughts and feelings, but you do see moments of vulnerability.

I enjoyed their characters and the interactions between them. It was clear to see there was something between the two of them, and I thought the author wrote their characters perfectly. Although the story was mainly focussed on just the two of them, the occasional sideline character helped the story too, no matter how brief their role.

This is the perfect book if you just want something hot to occupy you for an hour or so. It’s a steamy novella with a good amount of plot, spice and a little bit of angst too

Phew, that was a hot read! I normally gravitate to darker reads but Desirable really caught my attention! How I could I resist a spicy billionaire/fake dating novella based on this teaser? The arrangement between Holly and Parker may be a “transaction” without sex being a part of the deal, but the chemistry between them was insane! Holly tries to stay strong as she jet sets around the globe to attend events with Parker but sharing a hotel room as they get to know each other makes him hard to resist. Parker is not immune to her either, tempting her but always leaving the decision to sleep with him or not in her hands. He’s sweet and generous yet tempting Holly at every opportunity. While billionaire/fake dating plots may be a tad predictable, Nicole Sanchez’s writing take their story to a whole new level of page turning heat I couldn’t put down!

Loved the author's writing style. The story was short but interesting and full of steam. Normally, stories with too much spice make me feel bored, but this story was a perfect combination of spice and plot.

The chemistry between Holly and Parker was off the charts. The ending was good, but I expected Parker to be the one to grovel and win Holly. Then again, his nature was different, and I can understand him well. I would have done the same, so I think the ending is perfect. I enjoyed reading it a lot and can't wait to read more books from this author.

A quick, spicy read

A quick read, I had to finish it in less than 24 hours (would have been faster but I had to work)! The story flowed nicely and just enough information to get the story and feel the need to keep reading.

There was a moment that I did not like Holly or Parker (after Paris, read it and you’ll understand). The voice of reason for Holly after the “breakup”… perfect person!!!

It seemed to end quickly, maybe it was the speed in which I read this book… I don’t know…. But I’d do it all over again.

This is a quick and spicy read that you’re not going to want to put down when you start it. Parker and Holly were everything. What started as a fake dating arrangement to help her and her sister turned into so much more. The author knows how to write spice because it was definitely there in this book.

I did feel bad for Holly at times towards the end of the book because of how she was treated but I do think Parker made up for it.

Be sure to check out the extended epilogue because it helps to provide closure to the book.

I really enjoyed this one. The characters had a lot of chemistry, and my god, Parker has one wicked, dirty mouth. My only complaint is that I wanted more from the steamy scenes, but I know that this is a novella and the word count is restricted. It didn't take away from the plot itself. It was still a great read. If the author ever decides to expand it, I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

I highly recommend Desirable for anyone who wants something quick and fiery!

HOT HOT HOT!!!

I'm so glad I picked this one up from Nicole at a signing event. Super well-written and sexy spicy. Loved the characters. Packed a lot of story into a fast-paced package without the feel of rushing through. Left me nervous once I was running low on pages and fearful I wouldn't have a happy ending, but alas she came through in a way I didn't expect. Keep a fan nearby, you'll need it. One of my new favorite, must-read authors.

Holy smokes.

Parker and Holly were hawt! This was such a fun and sexy romance! Fake dating is such a fun trope to read because you truly watch as the feelings sneak up on the characters and this was amazing.

Super sexy and sweet. The characters made me laugh out loud numerous times and I couldn’t put it down.

This billionaire can make me his sugar baby anyday!

I’m sorry but I just couldn’t get into it. I felt there was no story, character or romance development. They went from date to date or whatever but nothing really happened at these dates of value other than them wanting to fuck each other.

There’s faking dating with a “no sex” agreement that is quickly broken. Parker and Holly have great chemistry. I thought there was a good balance of steam and plot in this short novella.

Nicole has done it again with "Desirable".  I attempted to read this during my lunch break, at school, but had to stop because it was so 🔥 🔥.  I embarrassed my 27yo DD with this comment on my social media!  She was like "you work at a school".  I was like "yeah, so what!"


Holly meets Parker at a bar by kissing him in front of her boyfriend! What a great fake dating story. 


Parker is a billionaire and Holly has a career but all isn't peachy at her company. Parker makes her an offer she can't refuse.


Holly is wined, dined, and jetted all over the world to be seen with Parker. Someone catches feelings.
