Seth Woodbury MacFarlane (/ˈsɛθ ˈwʊdbɛri mɪkˈfɑrlən/; born October 26, 1973) is an American actor, animator, writer, producer, director, and singer. He is the creator of the TV show Family Guy (1999–2003, 2005–present) and co-creator of the shows American Dad! (2005–present) and The Cleveland Show (2009–2013). He also voices many of the shows' various characters.

MacFarlane grew up in Kent, Connecticut and is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, where he studied animation, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Recruited to Hollywood during the senior film festival by development executive Ellen Cockrill and President Fred Seibert, he was an animator and writer for Hanna-Barbera for several television shows, including Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, Dexter's Laboratory, I Am Weasel, and his own Family Guy-like "prequel", Larry and Steve.

As an actor, he has made guest appearances on shows such as Gilmore Girls, The War at Home, and FlashForward. MacFarlane's interest in science fiction and fantasy has led to cameo and guest appearances on Star Trek: Enterprise and voicing the character of Johann Kraus in Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy II: The Golden Army. In 2008, he created his own YouTube series entitled Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy. As a singer MacFarlane has performed at several venues, including Carnegie Hall and the Royal Albert Hall. MacFarlane has won several awards for his work on Family Guy, including two Primetime Emmy Awards and an Annie Award. In 2009 he won the Webby Award for Film & Video Person of the Year. He occasionally speaks at universities and colleges throughout the United States, and he is a supporter of gay rights.

His first feature-length comedy film, Ted, stars Mark Wahlberg as an adult who, as a kid, wished his teddy bear would come to life. MacFarlane voiced and provided motion capture for the bear. It was released on June 29, 2012, and went on to become the highest-grossing original R-rated comedy of all time. In September 2011, MacFarlane released his debut album, Music Is Better Than Words. Also in 2011, he began a revival of Hanna-Barbera's The Flintstones for the Fox network. The first episode was due to air in the U.S. in 2013, but production has been indefinitely delayed due to MacFarlane's schedule.

I'm giving this three stars just because it's Family Guy. If it wasn't, though, it would get two stars. I was disappointed that the stories in this book were just reenactments of TV episodes. I was hoping for something fresh.

As I am of the younger generations when i look upon a show as great as this of course I am going to think "this is the greatest show in the world". But if i was to give an unbiased description of it I would say something along the lines of "It is an animated set of comedy stories that follow around a family of five as they experience their crazy adventures." Would i recommend it? yeah if you are the type of person looking for a laugh then you should definitely watch it. But i must warn you if you do watch it you may get offended because some of their jokes tend to be cruel and harsh.

The characters are based on a family: The Griffins. In these episodes are a Dog(Brian) Brian is Peter’s pet who is an alcoholic man whore who is also a writer. He also has mad lust for Louis; Stewie's Meg's and Chris's mom. Peter is the dumb father of Meg Chris and Stewie. He acts like a child He is also a drunk like Brian He works for a brewery for his family which isn't the best because he is a drunk. Louis: The stay at home mom who takes care of Stewie as he tries to kill her. Stewie is a small child who has some extreme smarts unlike his brother Chris who is the complete opposite. And finally Meg Well she gets messed with a lot because she isn't the most attractive.

Warning: SPOILERS AHEAD COULD BE BAD NEWS

I think that the author in which he produced these set of comics and with an amazing ability to apprehended the station to emit his comics on a news level. But what he considers brain wash is to get us humans to binge for hours at time while he commits evil acts of crime. Or he is just a greedy human who wants to take control of his depressing life by throwing money at all his problems and when he starts to run dry on his intake he creates a new episode.

The setting behind these brainwashing episodes change because the watcher would most likely get quite bored if they stayed in a set setting. But the setting mainly revolves behind the protagonist or main characters and where their adventures take them. But mostly just revolve around either their house town or state. But more specifically the bar that Peter goes to or his work. The school that Chris and Meg go. The house for Brian Louis and Stewie.

The protagonist change from each set of stories/show. They are considered on how each other act wards another character. But they are usually the main characters which are Brian Stewie Meg Chris Peter and Louis. Some of the characters get into fights and the viewer must pick which one is the protagonist and antagonist for them so i can't just label them.

The antagonist to me fit more with the secondary characters even if they are not mentioned as secondary characters. But i would describe one of the antagonist as Herbert. Herbert is a pervert who has a special interest in Chris he is old and always asks Chris if he wants some popsicle's which one would figure he would rape Chris. Another i would like to think is Quagmire He tends to ruffie girls and have sex with them. It doesn't make him a threat to the main characters but i don't think a protagonist would do that.

The conflict changes in each episode but tends to happen to one of the main characters. At that point it usually gets all of the some of the main characters involved or all of them. Each episode is different and each conflict is different no episode is ever the same unless it is just a continuation of a episode.

The rising action is near the start but not too close to the intro. It is before the protagonist get their mission that leads up to the climax. At this point in the episode some things have happened that intrigues the characters and makes them want to persuade a quest.

The climax is near the middle of the episode and usually starts when the characters are on a mission. When something big happens in the show it tends to be the climax and revolves around the protagonist.

At this point they are the closest ever to completing their quest or whatever they are doing in the episode. This usually ends with the characters meeting up and converse on what happened to each other throughout the day.

At this point the protagonist have completed the quest. They are laughing and joking to each other to get that laugh out of you before it ends. This part is usually funny to keep you wanted more from a next episode. With another totally different compared to the last episode.

The final end of the show usually ends with a catchy beat that you get as the episode starts. The only difference is that at the start you have the characters singing. But it is upbeat and kind of makes you want to dance or sing along it keeps you waiting for the next one.

The secondary characters consist of people who don't show up in every episode. There are a bunch of secondary characters so i will only list a few; Quagmire Cleveland Herbert Joe. Quagmire. Cleveland is a black friend of peter he drinks with their group of guys. Herbert a pervert who has an extreme interest in Chris . Quagmire Another man whore like Brian but actually has a hate wards him apart of the group of friends that drink with Peter. Joe An ex police officer who is technically still on duty because he does catch people and turn them in but i assume because he is handicap that he doesn't work for them anymore.

“Here are some memorable quotes, You'd better watch who you're calling a child Lois. Because if I'm a child you know what that makes you? A Pedophile. And I'll be damned if I'm gonna be lectured by a pervert.” - Peter Griffin.

VERY EPIC!!1!!!1!

This book features Petter Griffin (the funny fat man) from the #1 hit television show Family Guy created by the god himself Seth Mcdonald. This book contained the very funny comedy that you find in the #1 hit television show Family Guy just in book form. Very epic and I would definitely recommend to anyone with the brain of a 7 year old (like me)

I thought the book was just ok. I would have liked to see some original content not a comic based off the t.v. show.
