The first time I saw a picture of her in her red bathing suit smiling for the camera, I knew that Marissa Lynn Graves was going to be a sports sensation. As a sports agent, I’ve always had a knack for discovering talent. What I didn’t know when I looked at that first picture was how infatuated with her I would become. Over the next few months, I built myself a virtual shrine filled with photos and videos of her swim meets. Win or lose, it didn’t matter as long as I got to see her innocent smile, her blonde hair, and her perfect curves. Infatuation becomes obsession when she wins the Nationals and announces her intentions to try out for the Olympic team. So I fly out to Colorado to convince her that she needs me to get her to the Paris games. Can an older man like me convince this young woman that she needs me as a lover, too? Seeing her in person, I know I have to win her. I’ll get her that gold medal, but I also want my prize.
I was just not a big fan of Malcolm's temper, I felt like in some situations, he could have handled his temper a little bit better especially because Marissa is an Olympic swimmer and needs her agent to be able to conduct himself a little bit more professionally but besides that, I did enjoy it.
While I enjoy reading all of Lena’s books this was one of my favorites. It was just a little different with the subject matter and intrigue and yet soooo Lena Little. I suggest everyone pick it up.
