This is the story of Hannah who meets a young man when she’s a small girl and tells him that she is going to marry him. Michael who is now a man and a Duke. Tragedy befalls them on the day they met and they do not see each other for 14 years. They come together at a house party and each feels as if they’ve known each other all their lives. When they uncover a horrific betrayal can their new love overcome it? Masterful storytelling! R. K. C.
The world is indeed small and the authoress tried to prove it..The way she weaved the story as always looked that the narration had actually happened. Loved every minute and every page.Thank you madam by making the reading enjoyable and thereby my time spent gorgeous.
Is it love at first sight years ago; for surely he must remember? Kisses & thoughts seem to help until a secret person shows up. And we begin to learn about the secret of the past. Will it haunt her or let her go to be with the love of her life forever!
This story shows that even as a child Hannah knew what she wanted it just is a painful journey for her and Michael to find the love they felt in their first meeting and the wickedness that surrounded from that first meeting till the end. I would recommend this book.
This is a great book. I didn’t want to put it down. This story will hold your attention from beginning to end. It is one of those books that make you feel good all the way through. It does have some twist and turns I wasn’t expecting. So good!!!
I liked the overall story but it kept mixing up Michael's mother and grandmother . Lots of misplaced words making it sometimes hard to follow. There was an obvious lack of proofreading.
Hannah and Michael are great characters with such wonderful characters and interactions. Book is full of surprises and life’s challenges. It reads well and is a book you don’t want to put down. I highly recommend this read!!
This story was very different than most other stories of this genre. In this case that was good. No forced marriages or vows of never show affections. It was an intriguing old fashioned type love story. With a little steam of course! Read it!!
Intrigue in the story that I never guessed such terrible things would happen. The love that blossomed from the years of being children into adulthood is exceptional.
