Seriously couldn't put the series down. Dang sleep and work getting in the way of precious reading time. Kael, he's like you just want to hug him all the time. Though I must say the bonus story, yuletides gift was so freaking adorable!
Also the Halloween surprise, that was very nice ;)
One powerful quote that really resonated with me was when Leo told Eli : "The ones that care for us are usually the ones in the most need of care themselves."
Another powerful saying/quote was Kael talking to Chances dad on the pain of grief, it really resonated deep in me too.
Also kind of wish there was more Mishipeshu once it was introduced too,though it was nice they made an appearance in Cooper's and Adrian's bonus story. I could totally see Adrian trying to just live on the waters edge to spend hours with the mishipeshu.

Loved this series! It lives up to the sweet and spicy description, with a fun, charming, and moving story in each book. I loved how we got to see glimpses of previous MCs in each book that followed, to see how their lives continued. Looking forward to more in the series!

Competent writing if a bit formulaic, but I liked the twist with the monsters.
