Genesis Unscrambled, seeks to recover the meanings of the two creation narratives in the book of Genesis apart from positions held in creationism, by presenting an understanding of creation, grounded firmly in the biblical worldview. For too long, creationism’s preoccupation with evolution has clouded the reasons how Genesis 1 and 2 together can properly serve as excellent introduction to the Bible. The unlikelihood of any resolution is the predictable outcome, because at the core of the debates is a clash between two irreconcilable worldviews, the battle between the naturalistic, and the biblical worldview. The target of this book is the Church, and the subject is the discovery of the central truths and God’s intended purposes for planting the creation stories in His sacred text. Unlike the ever-shifting positions of science, creation, when interpreted correctly, would reveal God’s timeless truths, its spiritual significance, and its relevance in every time and age.
