Every Missing Moment by Garrett Leigh is a collection of extended scenes from the first four books of the Rebel Kings MC series.

I have been so in love with this series from the first page of the first book! And to get more of these guys was such a treat. We have chapters from Saint, Cam, my personal favorite, Alexei, Rubi, Nash and so much more! It was also a great refresher for me since it’s been awhile since I read these.



I’ve said this before in other reviews but these men are gritty, tough men who have their own set of morals. But they also love big. They are protective of the people they care about. I love that Garrett gave us this to keep them alive in our hearts, to get this deeper look into their minds. Because as she adds each additional book to the series, these characters are evolving, growing and changing. If you haven’t started this series yet, I urge you to take the plunge. I hope you will become just as obsessed with this world as I am!

I love it when authors give readers these outtakes/extra scene compilations. I’m not one to go chasing these things singularly in newsletters or author fb groups so I really appreciate getting the chance to read them all nicely put together in book format. It’s great to see some different POV’s for various situations that have occurred throughout the series, happily looking forward to the next collection.

This is mostly musings and quiet moments between characters. No big bombshells here or new revelations. It’s not just a book of extra smut. Mostly relationship development and insight into what happened between major scenes from different POV than the main characters at the time and making connections between characters in other connected series.

No sabia nada de este libro hasta hace poco, y creo que debí de leerlo mucho antes que los últimos, porque tiene tantas escenas nuevas de los primeros libros, y tantas cosas que me hubiera gustado saber antes. Pero bueno, fue un bonito viaje de recuerdos a los primeros libros de la serie, sobre todo con los personajes de Cam, Saint y Alexei, que son los que mantienen la serie interesante.
Al ser varias historias cortas, de varios libros, tienes que recordar lo que paso y donde debió de estar esa escena en particular, pero eso es lo que lo hacer mas entretenido.
En fin, me gusto mucho conocer estas pequeñas escenas, y quiero leer un poco mas, así que leeré el próximo y esperare que pronto salga el último de la serie para terminarla feliz.

Fabulous insights into the background of this epic series

Even though I'm a member of Garrett's Patreon and have read all but the new exclusive snippet for this compilation, I still had to have this book.

If you love the Rebel Kings, then you can't miss out on these extras and cut scenes that bring even more depth and insight into her amazing biker world

I can't pick a favourite but the one with the gang from Whisper Farm is close to the top, as is the visit with Alexei's cousin Sasha and his husband (Angels in the City).

December 2025: reread. Nothing new to add to my initial review. 😊

November 2024: reread. 🤔 I didn’t realize I read this earlier this year. Go me! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I suppose it may be the same for the next few I reread as well. Just doing a reread of the whole series before I read the most recent release (Divine Heart).

January 2024: This is a nice addition to the Rebel Kings MC books. I especially appreciated the way Garrett Leigh prefaced each chapter with a timeline note. It helped to place the events in the correct order.

The only chapter that I found unnecessary was the one from Jonah’s POV. He’s from the book Angels in the City and he’s married to Alexei’s cousin. Even though it says that Alexei is featured, it was pretty inane stuff. It also happened about a year before he met Cam so there really wasn’t anything tying it to the Rebel Kings MC stories. (This book could also use a good proofreading to fix the errors.)

**People who are unfamiliar with other GL series may be a bit confused with all the couples mentioned in Harry’s chapter. But since I’ve read those series, I enjoyed reading it.**

I love these bonus scenes, because I love exploring the vibes/feelings between all the devastating plot points, but this volume was mainly from Cam, Saint and Alexei's POV... My favorites, Embry and Mateo were nowhere to be seen...

I loved every bit of this collection of stories featuring some of my favorite characters ever from one of my all-time favorite series.
This book won't make much sense if you haven’t read up through Love Thy Brother, but if you have, you need this STAT.

I love when authors do this. It's like a little love letter to their readers.

This book is just a collection of extra scenes from the first 4 books in this series. Nothing that will change anything in the main series, but nice to see some of the deleted scenes or scenes from a different perspective.

It was good to see all these characters again.
Ruby and River's bonus made me curious about Oscar, I hope the author will write his story too.

I didn't gave it 4 stars because, since I consider this an MM series (with the exception of Orla's books), reading about Cam and Saint having a threesome with Lena (not Lena again!) didn't enthrall me at all...

I loved going back to visit with the Rebel Kings and their friends. While I am a member of Garrett's Patreon there were a lot more extras in here that made this fresh and feel like an extended epilogue and/or prologue than what I've already read. Diving into volume two now.

Every Missing Moment: The Outtakes: Volume One is a book full of bonus material from the first four books in the Rebel Kings MC series. It contains content from Devil's Dance, Saint's Song, Forgive Me Father, and Love Thy Brother so you'll definitely need to read those before diving in here. This book contains MM romance, MMM/poly romance, angst, found family, and all the extra Rebel Kings content a fan could want.

Some of these were previously available only as newsletter bonuses or Patreon content, and some are just exclusive to this special edition. I loved getting a more in-depth look at different moments throughout the first four books, or even just getting different character perspectives of pivotal moments. A lot of my highlighting included bonus Cam, Saint, and Alexei content and I do feel this book is a love letter to them. It's not all angsty of course, there's lots of light moments and humour (herding a drunk Cam home from the club was definitely a highlight for me). This is a must-read for fans of the intricate universe Garrett has crafted, and it's one I'd definitely go back to as a pick-me-up. Garrett never misses 💛

These extra scenes from the first four books in the series was really fun to read through. Some of them took a bit of brain power to try and remember where they came in overall plot, but after a page or so it was easy enough to figure it out.

A few of the scenes gave a lot more context to original books and I almost wish they were kept in, although I can also see why an editor would have recommended taking them out. In particular having a scene where Saint is told explicity that loosing his spleen would make him far more succeptible to illness in the future added a lot of depth to a later book where he did fall very ill, but I didn't recognise that when I read the book originally. This is backed up even more with another bonus chapter referencing the spleen issue when he does fall ill. These little extras really add depth to the characters and plots across the series, so if you are reading the series for the first time I'd reading in tandem if you can.

Overall a great addition for anyone who is a fan of the series and I'm excited for volume 2 for the remaining books in the series!

If you’ve read the Rebel Kings MC series than you have to read/listen to this. It’s snippets of different characters that provide insight into our beloved MC family, a chance to be reminded how much we love them, and why. There are fun moments and sweet moments that prove their bond to their romantic partners and their friends/family.

My favourite is Alexei’s visit to his cousin's boyfriend. It’s an embodiment of how much I adore our Russian and how much he loves even if it’s not shown in a ‘normal’ way. He’s such a fantastic character.

I highly recommend the audiobook version. Narrator Dan Calley is perfection in his ability to bring to life our men and woman.

I'm so so glad we got this! I'll always want to read more about these men, they own my whole heart now. My favorite parts were the scenes with Saint, Alexei and Cam obviously. I love their dynamic and these scenes got me thinking about the different ways they love each other and how these parts make them all whole (and then I got emotional at work and cried over it and had to tell my boss it was my allergy).

I feel like everything here could've just been included in their original books. It would've been better and added a lot more depth to the story while reading instead of doing it this way forcing you to recall various books and scenes to tie/bridge the emotions or thoughts of what's happening here.

In the moment would have worked better to get a better understanding of the character's mindset. I wasn't a fan of this way of filling the gaps.

Nice selection of bonuses for fans

Each chapter gave more depth to the stories and characters I love, and inevitably made me want to reread the series again but I'll wait until it's finished to do that.
These bonuses are a welcome addition to the series, and I'll take anything I can get that features Cam, Saint and Alexei.

Loved the timeline notes to orient me. I skipped or DNF two (Embry/Mateo) and (Ruby/River) so some things went over my head, but meeting Alexei's cousin was a nice touch. I'm looking forward to Orla/Nash/Locke's second part of the duet!

Great addition to the series.
It was fun seeing behind the scenes and getting an insight into what happened outside the scenes seen in the books. It was nice seeing some of the scenes from someone else's perspective.

A sweet set of short stories/scenes set around the first four Rebel Kings book. I enjoyed reading this! Reminded me of just how much I loved the first four books in this series, which is no bad thing.
