Kay Correll is a USA Today bestselling author of sweet, heartwarming stories that are a cross between women’s fiction and contemporary romance. She is known for her charming small towns, quirky townsfolk, and the enduring strong friendships between the women in her books.

Kay splits her time between the Southwest coast of Florida and the Midwest of the U.S. and can often be found out and about with her camera, taking a myriad of photographs, often incorporating them into her book covers. When not lost in her writing or photography, she can be found spending time with her ever-supportive husband, knitting, or playing with her puppies - a cavalier who is too cute for his own good and a naughty but adorable Australian shepherd. Their five boys are all grown now and while she misses the rowdy boy-noise chaos, she is thoroughly enjoying her empty nest years.

Book 8 in the Blue Heron Cottage brings us to the conclusion of this wonderful series. Like book one, we meet Violet, Rose and Aspen that rounds out the women's lives from the time they met and became life long friends. Each from different backgrounds, but fate and the town of Moonbeam brings them together at Blue Heron Cottages.

Violet bought and renovated what was once Murphy's Cottages and it changes her life. She found friends and she found love which she was not looking for, but takes it and cherishes every moments.
Rose came back to Moonbeam a widow, and she has some major life decisions to make and in deciding to move to Moonbeam, two letters come into her possession from her husband that will change the her life and give her happiness and joy.
Aspen came to Moonbeam because of letter from her mother, found a sister, Willow and love and friendships that would bring her what she most wanted.. Family.
All of these women's lives changed at Blue Heron Cottages and their futures look bright, happy and full of Love.
This was a wonderful way to bring this series to an end. It was full of lots of the people we have come to love in Moonbeam and at the Blue Heron Cottages. Reading this book was filled with laughter, smiles and some shed tears, some for the way life had been to some of these women and some tears of happiness. And what better way to end this book with the most wonderful HEA.
Well done Kay Correll. I can't wait to start reading your new series.
This book gets a solid 5 Stars.

If you’re a fan of small town romances with tight-knit friendships, you’re in for a treat. Blue Heron is the eighth book in the series and it does not disappoint.

In this episode we’ll learn more about Rose’s past and what kind of secrets she may uncover. We’ll also learn more about Willow and Aspen’s past. They’ll have some surprises and Aspen will finally come to terms with her past and her mother. There’s a wedding, a budding romance, a newfound family, community, and friendship. What more could you ask for!

This book had me smiling the entire way through. It was a great conclusion to an amazing series. These books will have you wanting to move to Moonbeam and be part of this wonderful community. I have loved every book by Kay Corrells that I have read and will be reading more.

I love the simplicity of Kay Correll's stories. She is my go-to author when things are too messy in my real life for me to think straight. I immerse myself into one of her stories, sharing life with the persons in whatever town she is writing about. This is the 8th book in the Blue Heron series and perhaps my favorite. We get to see Aster finally be able to come to terms with her past as she embarks on the most wonderful future. And Rose learns things about her beloved husband that she never knew before, things that make her happily accept her life! It makes me smile to think about how lovely the people in Moonbeam.

Just finished the last book in the Blue Heron Cottage series. This book touched my heart. It brought tears to my eyes and warmth to my heart. This was a perfect way to end a series. Kay, I can't thank you enough for such a wonderful series and inviting me into the lives of these fantastic people. The people in this series are ones I will remember for all their kidness and love for each other and those around them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking me on this incredible journey to the Blue Heron Cottages.❤️

Perfect ending to this wonderful series. I truly enjoyed these characters and the plot of this book. I don't do descriptions/synopsis of anything I read. You can read that on the back of the book or on the sales page. I can tell you that I've never been disappointed by Kay Correll's writings. I've enjoyed every single book she's written that I own (that's all, except Indigo Bay series and I intend to get those too). Looking forward to reading more from this talented storyteller.

Great series ending

Loved this series. This book was a great ending to it. I always love when everyone has a happy ending. It's hard not to talk about it in the review so I don't ruin the book for the ones reading the review. If you are reading the series let's just say that everyone got what they wanted or needed.

Heartwarming

This is perfection! Every book in this series is great as a stand alone book but reading them in order is like looking at a perfect quilt. Each piece is beautiful but the finished product is magical. Highly recommend
