Every person's life is a unique story in the great mosaic of human history. The ones who are lucky enough to be written down are the only ones that will be remembered. They are the record, the data bank, which proves the existence of humanity on this floating dust mote in the great cosmos. Thanks to the written word, there will always be a library of information for our descendants, a letter through time, that will be beneficial to the advancement and continuation of humanity through the distant future. Long after I'm gone, perhaps someone will read these words and imagine themselves in the world of today. Our voices will be silenced but our written words will carry a message like whispers in the wind.
