Drowning in Sins

Rate this book
From the twisted imagination of A.R. Hall comes a gothic romance influenced by a ghost story. A real one.

“Maybe I didn’t like the idea of choosing between them, but I would sure as hell choose to save them both from this monster.”

They say never look too hard when you’re at sea, but when two brothers live through an unspeakable event it’s hard to process what they may or may not have seen.

Rosalyn wants to know what happened that day, what secrets this shipwreck holds and when she meets two brothers that capture her attention, her job becomes that much harder.

They say blood is thicker than water, but will love conquer all or will history repeat itself?

Drowning in Sins is Book One in the Lovibond Duet and does end in a cliffhanger. For all potential trigger and content warnings, visit A.R. Hall's website.

Born and raised in the beautiful Texas Hill Country was a little girl with wild, curly hair and a growing imagination. Storytelling began at an early age as an only child who loved to use her imagination and make up stories. As she grew, she could never decide on what she wanted to be once she was grown up. Her love of making up stories didn’t stop, and it was with that imagination she realized she could live all of those realities and dreams, in stories.

A.R. Hall is a USA Today Bestselling author who lives in Texas with her almost high school sweetheart husband, daughters, dogs, and a growing collection of crafting hobbies. She claims to be an extroverted introvert, but every Pisces likes to keep their head in the clouds. Her other interests include starting gardens, binging tv shows, eating sour candy, and tracking her hydration.

All of her books are also currently in KU.

Thrilling journey filled with adventure and mystery!

This book was definitely out of my usual genre, but I’m grateful I gave it a chance. “Drowning in Sin” was flawlessly written, with an especially gripping beginning.
The only downside is having to wait for the next book in the series. A.R. Hall truly takes the reader on a thrilling journey filled with adventure and mystery. The writing is so captivating that you feel like you are right beside the characters, experiencing everything with them. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read!

I was sucked into this world from page 1! A.R. did such a beautiful job building this world of love, mystery and destiny! I loved the flashbacks that help me to start putting the pieces together and I could not put it down! WARNING this is the first book in a duet & it ends on a MAJOR cliffy!! But it is so worth the ride! Ros feels like all she needs is to have a grand adventure on the sea but fate has so many other plans for her! So if you are down for a few ghost, a mystery & love you should definitely run and grab this book!

Y’all this book was way good! I couldn’t put it down. A.R. did such an amazing job with this book. The world, the characters, love, mystery, literally everything was just so good!

The aspect of the book was amazing, it takes place out on sea, it was something new to me and I’m so glad I read it! Without giving too much away (because this is a shorter read) the adventure we go on is something else. It’s a mystery, a love triangle, and family drama all in one. There’s also ghost! So if that’s something that interests you, I highly recommend this book!

✨ Does end on a major cliffhanger!!

From the very beginning you want to jump right in and stay till its over. The way it jumps past and present just adds to the mystery and the way it ends makes you beg for more. Cant wait to dive into book two right after this and find out what happens.

Love it so far!

This story has kept me captivated these last few days and I'm dying to know how things are going to end between these three!

I'm really hoping they DO learn to share and their past is fleshed out even more, but we shall see!
