I feel that when someone would actively pick up this book, they would be less interested in mitochondria/ATP or, in simple words, at biochemistry level. However, if one of the ways is to understand this then I feel the title and its description needs to change for a specific audience who would be looking for such information. But I would say using tactics like this which would be more of a marketing strategy rather than targeting the exact audience would fire back. Yes, we feel betrayed and I was looking for a good uplifting self help content that would specifically have tips on how anyone and everyone can adopt to have more energy, not some biochemistry related information.

Video review will come soon on YouTube/Instagram/tiktok if you prefer video reviews or just like watching them 😉 (same name on all channels)

This was a new book that arrived in the library I work in, but I believe it was published before as a different title (i think it was the fatigue fix) .

I really liked that this one was not body shaming, not talking about weight loss especially but spoke about intuitive eating and how every body is different. It did get quite sciencey at points but in general I liked the way the writer wrote.

I haven't implemented anything yet but planning to go back through now and see what I want to try.

I couldn’t put it down! This book has such an excellent way of sharing information about nutrition and energy levels - all simplified to help people like me understand the ‘why’ behind my chronic fatigue and the foods that affect it.

Particularly love that Karina shared analogies such as Spoon Theory, as well as helping you understand your energy leakers and how to boost it.

Overall, an insightful read with no shaming about foods like from typical diet culture.

Actually really enjoyed this one! It has a ton of scientific information to overwhelm you, but also actionable steps and tips to incorporate into your life. Gave this one a blind shot, and I am quite happy I picked this one up!

I loved this book. So practical with steps to follow, handy tips throughout, and science backed evidence. I really enjoyed that there were some more scientific things that explained it, without making it too complex. Highly recommend for anyone experiencing fatigue. It’s not rocket science, but this book simplifies it in a way that you can take actionable steps when you are in a state of burnout or exhaustion.
