Time travel to stop a serial killer in three trips - 4.5 stars

A physician, Doyle Grady, was recruited to be a member of the Road Runners but eventually thrown out. Doyle was trained to be a time traveler but after he was dismissed from the organization, he turned to start a career as a serial killer. He found an alternative to travel-by-Juice - using time portals. Doyle selected victims partially to lure and entrap a special team of Road Runners. Arielle, Felix, and Selena were assigned to stop Doyle's senseless murders without the organization's customary detailed preparation.

The top Road Runners team travels to Texas in 1898, Oklahoma in 2098 and Miami in 1998. Comparing the dress, attitudes, and mores of the three distinct eras is the best part of this adventure. Technology changes are quite impressive, for sure. Readers are in for a treat especially in 2098 when the forecast of major lifestyle differences are depicted to be outlandish. It is not pretty when the top 2% need protection by robots from the rest of the population in 2098.

Another interesting twist is that there are a lot more time travelers in the future as well as major problems with the breakdown of civilization. Even the Road Runners have had an internal split between a leader with an intent to control the world rather than the decades long practice of eliminating or reducing the severity of crimes.

The depiction of one man's dementia is done well. The Road Runners seem more human than in past episodes in that they are more affected by their actions. One of the more humorous vignettes involved an amorous woman who sought Doyle's attention.

Time Fugitive by Andre Gonzalez

Time Fugitive is Book 5 in the Arielle Lucila series. In my last review I wrote that I want to meet Arielle, I still do. She is one heck of a woman. I would also like to meet the other two on her team.

In this novel we follow the team as they try to stop a notorious serial killer, Doyle Grady. As they bounce around different eras we learn of Doyle’s sinister plans and how they effect Arielle and her own demons.

This trip with Arielle brings a new aspect to following her life. Amazing!!!! Mr. Gonzalez writes another winner; a true page turned.

As I have said many times, if you have yet to read any books by Ander Gonzelez stop everything you are doing now and start with Book 1 in any of his series.

I read this one on February 17.

Rating 3.5 stars.
Time traveling serial killer. An interesting concept and well written, just not one of my favorites. I give this 3.5 stars because I did enjoy the book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading time travel books, but that trope is just not for me.
The book is like Criminal Minds across time. A team of "detectives" are out to stop a serial killer who used to be part of their organization. The killer always seems to be one step ahead even though he was cast out of the organization and doesn't have the same "juice" for traveling across time. If you love time travel, pick this up!!

I received an ARC (Advanced Readers Copy) from Andre of his new book “Time Fugitive” and once again I was sent on yet another time travel adventure. Honestly Andre, I’m amazed (but not surprised) at the speed in which you forge ahead with new ideas that become extremely good reading. This time Arielle Lucila and her team move across time in a chase that intensifies from page to page on the hunt for what I can only describe as a very twisted individual. Once again there are some heart stopping moments along the way, mixed in with a bit of light hearted banter from the team which in turn brings humour and pathos into this thrilling story.

Time Fugitve is a fast paced race through many different centuries to catch a killer. I like how the Author tied the killer to Arielle's past which gave us deeper insight into her. This story is a page turner and I found it hard to put down. I love the authors writing style, descriptive enough so I can easily visualize the story taking place. The world building overall and in each time period was on point. I felt that ending was a tad rushed but overall a great read. I look forward to more by Andre Gonzalez

A former Roadrunner turns into a serial killer. They take the time travel juice from him, but he finds portals to use for time travel. He commits murder in three different eras. Arielle and her team are assigned to find the serial killer Doyle Grady. They finally catch up with him in Miami where he takes Arielle captive. A very exciting conclusion to this page turner.

This was a unique and enjoyable read. This book had such an interesting concept about a time-traveling serial killer. I haven’t read another book like this one. Time Fugitive was very well written and had me very intrigued throughout the story. I really liked the characters in this book as well.

Thank you M4L Publishing for sending me this copy.

This is a good continuation of Arielle and her teams story and their relationships develop. However, I did not enjoy this book as much as the previous ones in the series, the story felt a bit laboured and over described at times. Still I am looking forward to the next in the series.

Wow, unbelievable. Loved every minute of this book. Arielle and her team are time travellers and trying to catch a killer. Not as easy as he can travel as well. Danger, mystery and easy reading. Enjoyable for everyone.
