A Crushed Happiness, Reborn in Violence

Magnolia is on the run, hiding and working at Club Sin. She shouldn’t be playing with guests, but Danika, Rune and Oliver pursue her. This story seems like everything is all tied up neatly when things go completely sideways. I’ll admit, I didn’t quite jive with the guys, though the story telling is tight and the ending is gripping. My favourite character in this story was Raja - I’m so curious what his story is. An entertaining read.

The story was shallow and and trite with a side of dumb.

The storytelling was incohesive and flimsy. The characters were barely outlines (ie it wasn't until halfway thru the book that we even find out the female lead is twenty-two and the male leads are mid-forties) with little personality. There was zero relationship-building: the male leads met the female lead, fucked her and !poof! by morning they were inviting her into their family.

From the female lead, before that first night is even over: "They ignite something new in me and I feel it wherever their skin touches mine. It starts small but the longer I stay in their arms the stronger the connection feels. Is it fate speaking to me?" No dear, that's lust. You manage a sex club. Grow up.

Then there is a three week time jump during which the female lead has become aware the male leads run a crime family but only because she has done internet searches on them, not because they actually share things about themselves with her. Apparently all they have done during that three weeks is screw each others brains out.

And now they are asking her to have their baby. There's no marriage proposal or promise of financial stability/support or even a discussion on how dangerous it will be for her and the baby given they are career criminals, no, it's all flowery phrases and declarations of love.

And then it got really stupid.

Apparently when she was hired as a manager, she was only twenty and without a degree in marketing (or even management) but supposedly brought in five hundred new members in one month and a million in two years nation-wide. How? She clearly knows nothing about the other clubs since she didn't know about the upgrades to the club in New Orleans.

The male leads suddenly ghost her and she does nothing about it. She supposedly loves them and might be carrying their child but she doesn't go to their home or call around to the hospitals (or the morgue) or even just ask around. Nope, she hangs around her apartment and mopes. And then she runs away to NOLA to see if they come after her.

And their reunion was just disgusting. A year after ghosting her, they turned up unannounced and, instead of explaining everything and asking for forgiveness, they tied her down and forced themselves on her.

At least this one had a narrative reason for the lead to be a twenty-something year old virgin, unlike the other books by this author. Unfortunately, it was just ignored as anything more than a plot device as she evidenced no trauma or even reticence when it came to... anything.

It desperately needed editor to polish the writing and correct typos. Oh, and Danika is a girl's name (and a slavic goddess), not a boys.

The smut failed to be unique, sexy or even interesting.

Do not recommend.

(I am making my way thru all the stories in the series, this is the third one I have read by this author and they all seem to be bad.)

After their encounter Danika took the ring from her finger and toss it across the room. He told her that she no longer needed it and that she was now under the Sinn family protection. She now belong to them.
Danika is the head of the Sinn Mafia Family. He's the second son and wasn't supposed to inherit the empire, but after his oldest brother overdose on heroin he had no other choice. After taking over he decided to run things a different from his dad who only started war with other mob families and was too greedy. He invited his two friends to his empire to help share the load. From that night the guys was obsessed with her and kept her at their house where all they to is sex and less talking. Danika, Oliver, Rune handsome, billionaires, violent and sexy AF. Their feelings grew for each other and they wanted her to have their baby. They made promises to her that she was their everything and that they would always be there. Magnolia attacker came out of prison and he wants her. He believes that she belongs to him. He found her in Seattle and she flee to New Orleans. Even though it wasn't because of him that she fled. Her men broke her heart and she had to get away. She hoped that he wouldn't find her in New Orleans. When he came for her at Club Sin New Orleans her men took care of him and Magnolia can now breathe easy and stop running because the threat was gone. Innocent Magnolia is the manager at Club Sin (CS) Seattle during the "masks must be worn at all times and no names allowed" event. A man approached her, flirting, and wanted her to spend time with him and his friends. She's staff, not a member, so technically she isn't supposed to be involved with members in that way. She would lose her job, the only thing keeping her safe from *him*. (Him is an as of yet, unnamed danger) She escapes to her office, but they find her in the hall and take her to a room anyway. What was supposed to be 1 night turned into weeks and a trip to NOLA. There, the men tell her they want her round with their child. This brings you to around 36% and I was so confused as to how this would be a second chance story. Give it time. Things get dark and bloody before they get better.



As is usual with PW's books, there are one or two typos. They don't take much away from the book and are usually easily deciphered. I was expecting most of what happened, but there was 1 thing different. The ending, where she's talking to Madam Celeste. That was unexpected.

Deliciously depraved and naughty. Danika, Rune and Oliver take great pleasure in turning virgin Magnolia into their very own sex siren Magnolia. Her pleasure is their only mission...until it isn't and they must choose: their wants and needs or her safety? There is nothing they won't do to keep her safe....even if that means destroying her and risking their love. Whilst their chemistry will have your Kindle sizzling, their pain and frustration is also palpable as it drips from the page, every one of them suffering and every one missing part of their heart.
I did enjoy this book and it was also great to catch up with Astra from Room Seven of Session 1, but I was disappointed that there are a number of typos and incorrect words, for example:
slat instead of flat
and owned instead of opened...very different words and meanings.

Incomplete. The plot and characters both seemed to be very strong but I found that there were a lot of missing scenes. A lot of things left unresolved.
As I was reading I kept thinking to myself this can’t be it- there must be some sort of error in the kindle uploading or something.
I feel this book has a great foundation of characters and conflicts in the plot but needs to be rewritten. It needs to include more on the dynamics of the early dating (I originally thought that it was a one night stand, but it ended up feeling like there was a whole relationship, but there were no scenes where the characters really had any discussion of moving in together and what not), they also was no confrontation of how the FL had a miscarriage it ended up becoming a passing remark leaving me feeling the FL pain of being abandoned and losing her child.

Wow! Penelope Wylde and Club Sin are an unbeatable duo: Magnolia is such a sweet strong woman and her men, Danika, Oliver, and Rune are possessive, protective, and very seductive. An age gap, virgin, mafia novella with a great story, drama, steamy naughty sex, and an abusive villain from her past.

Penelope creates a world of seduction, uses her narrative and dialogue to convey the emotions and caring Magnolia and her Sinn family men have for each other. Her men protect her too well and leave her reeling and second guessing herself. Fate or magic brings them back together and Lia finds even more love. I loved their story!.

Magnolia has been through a lot before meeting three men Danika, Oliver, and Rune. She's been running from her past but when it finally catches up to her will her three Mafia men still want her when they find out Magnolia's secrets? Room Six is a steamy addition to the multi-author Club Sin New Orleans series. This reverse harem Mafia romance is full of secrets, drama, danger, steam, and so much more all packed into this short story. The writing is good, the characters have intense chemistry and the story held my attention from beginning to end. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This was a steamy reverse harem romance. The story was set in the mafia world this author has created and though it can be read as a standalone, I would definitely recommend reading the other books in this universe to get the most out of this book. I loved the characters in this one, they had such strong chemistry. I just really enjoyed reading this story.

Their rh begins with Magnolia breaking club rules and some of her own also. The story has danger, suspense, enemies, vengeance, heartbreak, fear and secrets. Thru all of that Penelope cranks the heat up between the four of them. It was an interesting storyline and the characters were perfect for each other

Breaking the rules can be so much fun

Room Six by Penelope Wylde is first book in the multi-author Club Sin: New Orleans Session 2 series. The Big Easy really needs to be renamed the Big Smokin' Hot Sexy with this series as what happens at Club Sin will make you hotter than Cajun food. This series is back for a second round of stories at the New Orleans club and things are anything but easy....but they are definitely big again. This story is about Magnolia and the three men who will catch and keep her if they can, Danika, Oliver and Rune. All I can say is make sure you have something cold to drink before you dive into this story as the author has given us a really dirty, fun, erotic and so much more story. Another winner from Penelope Wylde!

Very entertaining book from beginning to end with some really FANTASTIC characters and a chef kiss to perfection ending. If you thought book number one was Amazing to read just you want and see what book number 2 has in store for you. I LOVED reading this book by Penelope and can't wait for the next book to see what that brings to the table for me to devour.

Magnolia accepts them even if it is against the rules. The intentions are good but life interferes. I like how the guys make sure Magnolia knows she is still theirs. As for her stalker, he is take care of. I like the bonus at the end of the story and I look forward to the next book.
